Food good - drinks not too expensive. Found waiters not very personable - not asked if meal was ok or did we want more drinks/desserts/coffee. Probably wouldn't return.

Great city centre location, authentic Greek food and staff, nice atmosphere. It is a family favorite as we also love Greece and the Greek people having lived there for 5 years and visited on holiday many times over the years.

We went before 7pm on a week day and got 2 amazing courses for £9.95. Absolutely delicous and really filling. Also nice that the waiters were from Greece and felt like we were back on holiday in Crete again. Very friendly staff and tasty greek food - will be back.

The place is cheap but the food is just ok. People are nice and very friendly. If you look to go out for a quick lunch is the perfect place but if you look for very good Greek food look for something else.

Delicious food but beautifully cooked. Wonderful value at £6.95 for 2 course lunch. Good service and a comfortable spacious relaxed atmosphere. Have been to Elia 3 or 4 times and always enjoy the experience and the food. A la carte has something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable.

We arrived to be told there was no booking. After 3 attempts at giving my name and checking the system I was still told no booking. Fortunately they did have a table for us. Finally I wrote my name down for them and they came back and said they did have booking but I got a feeling this was to pacify me. All that aside the food was lovely and we had an enjoyable evening

Nice atmosphere, food and staff. Our waiter recommended a homemade pudding which was sensational. The prices are amazing for George Square and for what you get - 3 courses for 2 with Prosecco £56. Great meal, great value, will be returning.

Food was amazing, mezze starters full of flavour. The corgettes were my favourite, light crispy batter. The chicken souvlaki was tender and tasty and the lamb just fell off the bone, all seasoned really well. The staff very efficient, warm and friendly and everyone of them actually looked like they were happy to be there! Service was prompt but never rushed through the meal. Prices really good. Will definitely continue to recommend them.

A fantastic location on George Square. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The house wine was lovely and fresh. The food was absolutely delicious. The taziki was just as we remembered it from our visits to Greece. The food was really authentic and rich. We enjoyed lovely village sausage, greek burgers and souvlaki. It was absolutely lovely. We finished by sharing chocolate fudge cake. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be back and it was very good value. Worth every minute.
