Food was excellent, service good. Didn't have long to wait between courses but we were early lunchtime diners. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Great food, lovely art in the pub and we loved the cow in the entrance and the flowers on the wall. Would definitely visit again.

I can highly rate the farmers arms went on Sunday with my daughter, we had the 3 course Sunday lunch, food was lovely staff attentive fantastic value.

The food was excellent. The staff and service were fantastic, friendly, attentive and all knew how to smile and chat which you don't find everywhere these days unfortunately.

Fantastic service and very tasty food. Lovely atmosphere too. I had the roast beef which was great and my husband had a scrumptious steak. Great!

Great food as always, slightly slow service but we went as a group of 4 so didn't bother us. Kindly made us strong coffees as we'd found the coffee weak on previous visit

Service very bad even though it wasn't really busy, food nice, but probably won't go again due to the slow & rubbish service , a party of 4, 2 mains served 15 minutes apart.

Lovely food and environment and great Robinsons beer. Friendly and efficient staff. Had a lovely relaxed Saturday afternoon lunch in Poynton village. Will be returning.

Enjoyed a delicious home made soup with lovely fresh bread. Followed by vegetarian burger, very tasty. Welcoming environment in conservatory and good food and service.

good service, choice of menu, good cooking, reasonable prices. Definitely go again! good robbie's beer on tap- Wizzard, Unicorn were both excellent. Pity it is in Poynton as we live elsewhere!

We really enjoyed it. The only thing is I think there should be beans offered as well as peas for the children as mine don't like peas

Excellent early doors meal, table booked on-line. Bar service was very good and the restaurant staff were very attentive.The food was good ad well presented.

We've been to The Farmers on numerous occasions and have always found the food and service excellent. This time was no different. The portions are just right and you are not rushed so able to relax and enjoy.

The staff were very friendly and the Service was great too. Sunday roast menu is excellent value with good choices. They are happy to make alterations to dishes if you require them.

Nice atmosphere. Service a little slow at times but not a great issue. Food good quality and nice varied menu. Need to book as always send busy.

A warm welcome to comfortable surroundings, a wide choice on the menu and with some flexibility, friendly staff serving excellent food at a reasonable price. I wish everywhere was as good as this

Scrumptious family Sunday lunch to celebrate partner's 70th birthday. Super helpful and very helpful staff with great sense of humour. Will definitely be back soon.

A long wait for food. When it arrived the plates were hot but food only warm. The four of us had Sunday lunch and thought it was only average.

Very friendly greeting.was able to choose where to sit.menu arrived given plenty of time to select what we wanted to eat. Food excellent service the same. Only down side very loud music raucous music in your ears.I want to talk without shouting.

Food was good, service was good and pleasant waitress. My friend I went with had not been before but said she would certainly go again.

Good meal with attentive staff and great wine. My wife enjoyed the sea bass and my chicken was well cooked although maybe too much gnocchi. Less gnocchi and perhaps a green vegetable would have improved the balance of the dish. Good wine list which was reasonably priced.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Modern yet very classic interior. The food was very fresh and presented well. The car park is only small but other than that it is a lovely small, local pub.

We went for lunch on Saturday, the menu covered everything from sandwiches to steaks, the food was excellent also was the service would definitely recommend x
