Great food and great service. Overall 10/10 meal experience for the family

Really good service, they were happy to oblige with my request for a single rose be place on the table for my date. Food was great, nice atmosphere too.

the starters were good... my fiance's main was good...mine wasnt..the "steak and real ale pie" had a crust that was like tarmac...i needed to keep adding the (luckily( supplied small jug of gravy to manage to cut it... we were asked if we would like dessert, which we declined but said we would like a coffee....to be told..."oh sorry...the machine has been cleaned out" which may have been almost acceptable , but the time was only 3 minutes past 9pm.!! restaurants keep saying how happy they are to have people returning...that is hardly the way to show it...i doubt we will bew returning.

I don’t carry my cards or anything of value into town - it didn’t say on the website that forhergills did not expect cash and it was card only ! We was out for my husbands birthday and for the first time since lockdown - and we was turned away at the door ! 😢

Service - Had a wait for some of our order , fries could have been warmer. Otherwise ok

Staff were great friendly and professional they all did a great job the food and drinks and service was fantastic . We live locally it was our 24th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed sitting outside. We will be back soon. Cheers

Due to circumstances we had a very good afternoon catching up with friends. Service and staff very helpfull especially with trying to order off a app thats proberly bad part of afternoon other than that Thank you

Food was dreadful. Been many times before and we were so disappointed yesterday. The food seemed old and reheated. It wasn’t hot. Wish I hadn’t gone.

Arrived and was seated, very good behind a screen, table clean used app to order food and drink very easy. All in all fab.

We love it here. The food is amazing and the staff are always fantastic. And the fact they're now working in a pandemic, hats off to them as our experience was just as good as usual.

I shared information about an allergy at booking and again to two members of staff when ordering but unfortunately still had an allergic reaction to the food. Nice restaurant and lovely service but they obviously do not know their ingredients!

Had a nice meal there is always someone on another table that talks loud and takes over we had one this time where where dining But that is not the restaurants fault

Venue was fine. Slightly disappointed with the dessert. Lemon meringue was a tart with a meringue stuck on top very poorly constructed

Crowd pleasing food. Not inventive but it did the job. Beer selection wasn’t great.

Very disappointing Food tasted old and over cooked Waitress did not ask how our meal was or if we wished to taste the wine. Once meal ordered then ignored !!!

Sunday lunch options should include vegan. Really disappointed about this and limited vegan dessert options. Eating habits are changing to include plant based options so Fothergills should mirror the changes with more plant based menu.
