Good food, nice atmosphere. Meals a little slow arriving but compensated with free drinks. I would return at a less busy time. On the whole an enjoyable experience.

Great food in a lovely village pub, nice friendly staff, excellent locally sourced menu & good range of beer. Well worth a meal out in Woodborough.

The meal was delicious. Good service. Table too near the crowds of people at the bar it disturbed our meal. Would have a meal there again but in quieter surroundings.

The food was very good so was the service we shall certainly go again Highly delighted. Give it a try you will not be sorry.

Nice friendly staff who were very polite, good service and great food!!! reasonably priced for what we had and the Dauphinoise potatoes were spot on!

Squashed on too small a table no after service very disappointed food was beautiful but should have checked if everything was ok after service as I needed more gravychecked

A warm welcome, delicious food with daily specials and comfortable surroundings. It was easy to book a table online too so we knew that 6 of us could sit together.

We were a group of 9 sitting down to eat the service and food was first class, never disappointed when we visit The Four Bells.

Very busy and bar area crowded. Our table was in the bar area and felt a bit like being in a corridor. Food was ok but nothing special

It was hugely busy and despite having booked a couple of weeks prior to visiting were offered a table by the door. That said, we were then given a much better table. The food was delicious and served quickly given they were catering to a very large party. The staff were great too. Definitely recommend ****

Good quality food with the fish and chips although the mushy peas left a lot to be desired - tasted like they were from a can. These would be betted served as 'fresh peas served in another form.

Great atmosphere- a real pub. The food and service are excellent. We want on a moules night - held monthly in season. Only mussels are served in various sauces........really good if you like mussels.

Excellent service and you always get good, high quality food sourced locally. Idyllic location as well. Would strongly recommend to couples and families alike and also four paws !!

Excellent Sunday meals all fresh and full of flavour , good service and very pleasant atmosphere , we shared a cheese board after dinner with a great choice of cheeses.

Delicious food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only negative was they did not stock my favourite wine. But all in all a very good experience.

The menu covers most taste and the food is well prepared and presented. The atmosphere is excellent as I like a 'pub' feel which takes me to the bar! Good range of beers and lager especially the Cornish Ales.

Great decision to go for Sunday lunch. Well cooked meat, pork,beef and lamb. Yorkshire puddings high and crisp! Plenty on plate! Service good, by happy smiling staff.

We have been coming to the Four Bells for a long while and the food and service is always excellent. The menu changes on a regular basis and has a selection of lovely dishes to suit any palate. There is a specials board daily too.overall the Four Bells is a fantastic pub!

Restaurant food at restaurant prices, in a pub. Got dressed up for our 1st anniversary but felt overdressed when we got there. Can't fault the food or the staff though, both were fantastic.

Amazing food and great service! It was our second time there and (the same as the first time) we were very impressed with everything there.

We had to wait 15-20 minutes after booking reservation time before we were seated, apart from that very good service and food. Would definitely revisit.

Really great food and whilst our waitress was excellent I would say that the service was slow but I attribute this to the amount of waiters as clearly there should be more. Having said that it wouldn't stop us returning as the food is fantastic.

I have been to The Four Bells quite a few times. They serve very good food and a good choice of dishes, very nice surroundings.

We booked a table for 2.30pm this afternoon for a special birthday for someone in our party. We had the Lamb Sunday lunch which was lovely. Great Service & Fantastic food!!

we had a lovely evening at the four bells, very interesting and varied menu. Charming service and food arrived very quickly and we all agreed was delicious.

Good Sunday roast. Sat in what was the old bar at the back of the pub so not the most comfortable seating. Pleasant efficient staff.

Service was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. The two of us both had the mussels special and both felt that it was alright , but nothing special.

Sunday roast beef and lamb was lovey lots of veg service very good will go back again thank you to all the staff @ fourbells

Even though we now live the other side of town, Four Bells is our go-to pub for tasty gastro pub food and a warm atmosphere. They have an ever-changing specials board and a menu that rotates often enough to never get boring and it's all reasonably priced. Never disappointed!

Had a lovely meal at The Four Bells. We were seating in the lounge area rather than the restaurant itself, but all areas of this old world pub are just as nice. The food was of a really high standard (would really recommend the swordfish!) and the staff were friendly and attentive. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this to others, and we'll definitely be going again!

Service great, food great, good selection plus specials - we had Sunday roasts which were lovely. Nice atmosphere. Not cheap but we will definitely return soon - probably for the mussels special.

Great food no complaints at all. It's just the wooden seats are uncomfortable after an hour or so. We came with people who hadn't eaten at the pub before, they really enjoyed it and will come again. Thank you for all your hard work in keeping the food a good standard. Sue & Brian Dickenson

Fantastic village pub offering high quality meals with a good selection of choices on both the main menu and specials board. The staff are always friendly and efficient helping to create a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
