Four Bells Inn

Lovely dog-friendly pub! The food was excellent as usual. Unfortunately our waiter sort of forgot about us so we were waiting about 15 mins just for the dessert menu so we gave up in the end and paid and left!

We had Sunday roast lunch which was very good ,service wasn't quite as good as the last time we where there but they was very busy ,dessert was excellent cheese cake and brownie .

Booking was put back by 30 mins but the manager texted me early to check ok. Excellent lunch. Lovely staff. Dogs welcomed and were very happy too . A great pub and place to eat. All in all a very happy family.

Staff were attentive and friendly, surroundings pleasant, food was good but there were no healthy or salad options, which was a shame. Pricing was fair.

Arrived a little early for booking but found a table almost immediately. We were with our 2 grandchildren so this was appreciated. Pre-ordered Sunday lunches had been kept for the boys and they loved them. Food was good and service attentive. We will be coming again when visiting from the north east.

Excellent fare and excellent service. The Four Bells takes pub food to another level, and their potted lamb starter is a joy. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Food so nice I could have eaten it all over again!!! Took my 3 year old so was a bit on edge but the staff were amazing with him. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

Lovely place, great atmosphere, amazing food and fab staff. We will most definitely be going back very soon! (Portion sizes huge so dont over order!!)

We have been to the four bells many times and this time we took a group of friends. We all had an excellent evening enjoying the atmosphere and of course the great food. This place never disappoints and we can't wait to return.

We met our son & his family for a birthday meal this evening. The three different steaks were tried, also two vegetarian meals and the fish & chips. All the meals were excellent and we would certainly come back!

Fantastic food, gorgeous pub, excellent garden for children! Service was very friendly. The chicken with Brie and bacon sauce is to die for! 100% recommended.

I took my 93 year gran for a Sunday lunch and had a lovely time. The food was very nice, all arrived hot and fresh to our table and the portions were generous. The staff are very very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We will definitely be going back.

Delicious food which was presented well. Really good choice of food on the lunch menu. Staff were friendly too. We will definitely visit again soon.

Food, drink and service were all good. We were a party of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the Four Bells...our second visit and we will return.

Superb food in a lovely village pub. A great menu with a specials board too. A good selection of beers and wine. Will definitely be going back soon!

Good food and good portions. Made especially pleasant by the free birthday bottle of wine. House wine but pleasant. Service was slightly slow but not a problem as we were in no hurry.

Very nice food. Staff and service excellent. Traditional English pub with fires and nice atmosphere. Good choice of beers. Toilets clean and tidy. Would recommend.

The food was lovely and great service/ lovely atmosphere but it was a little cold sitting by the window with no radiator on ... ...

Welcoming was very polite . Although we were early the staff accommodated us and shown us to our table. The area was veryclean and exceptionally busy. Bar man was very committed and making youas though you are the only ones there. Food was to die for hot and hot plates yippee.we will be back for the good value Thank You

Excellent Lunch for my Birthday Celebration, made more special by a complimentary bottle of wine. Apple crumble and cheeseboard, very good. All in a warm and welcoming pub.

Had a fantastic Mothers day meal, food was delicious with a great atmosphere, quality staff. It's not cheap but i will definitely visit there again

Good food, nice friendly staff who were very attentative and pleasant cosy surroundings and all with a not too expensive bill at the end of the night.

Very attentive and helpful staff. Food was very good with lots of choice. Lovely log fire. Will definitely be returning to this friendly pub with the dog.

Lovely setting, great food and the landlord was very helpful. My husband had the 20 year old port with his steak and chips and loved it!

The food was very well cooked. There was a good selection of items on the menu including interesting vegetarian dishes. There was a nice selection of beers including real ales. It was reasonable value for money

Great service, food and atmosphere. The kids menu was enjoyed by our 9 and 12 year old son and daughter. Our first visit and we'll be back.

Booked late and had availability, Menu choice varied and good specials. Service is always very good even when busy...highly recommended particularly on Sundays as great roasts!

As always the food was exceptional made all the better served by friendly, professional staff. The atmosphere of the four bells is always amicable. A real mixture of regulars drinking and diners enjoying the exceptional food. I would recommend the Four Bells to anyone for a friendly night out.
