Delicious food, fantastic service and fabulous wine! Would highly recommend! We sat at a table by one of the large glass windows with an open street view which was fun
Sauce is a bit too salty. Salmon’s a bit over cooked and chicken breast is a tad bit too dry. Service is impeccable though. Overall okay experience.
Very stodgy heavy food Lasagna over cooked and not hot. Risotto very heavy. The only good part was the wines and service too quick between courses
Nice Staff, good food, we got severed quickly which was important as we eat here pre-theatre and really enjoyed our meal. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you!
Excellent all round. Given the prime location in Aldwych, it was very impressive for the quality of food, value and the friendliness and efficiency of all staff.
Fantastic food, atmosphere, staff and service - would highly recommend. The menu choice was excellent and my husband said he had never tasted chicken so tender before.
Quiet and nice restaurant.. Food is good.. after a night out with friends .. good price .. just need more food options.. but otherwise is good ..
Fantastic food, service, timing and price. Great location and atomoaphere. Very chiascuro mood and good wine too! Upstairs and downstairs seating. Nice Christmas decorations. A+ 👌
Very tasty food as ever, especially the pasta and squid. Took a while to get a menu and a drink as it was a busy night.
this is a great place - super restaurant staff who are very smiley and helpful and the food is great. Superb wine list too and reasonably priced. you should book!
Nice food, unfussy atmosphere, quietly attentive waitress who always seemed to be there when needed. All at reasonable prices for central London. What’s not to like!
Started off with a great margarita, through an excellent wine recommendation, a fine pasta dish and finished with lovely dessert. I'll be back, over and over.
Excellent meal. Fantastic staff good value for money. Perfect location just opposite The Novello theatre where we were watching Mamma Mia would def recommend to everyone
Good service and very tasty food. Cosy environment and nice to go somewhere a bit different. I would definitely recommend to friends and family coming to the area.
great food and staff always there and very polite lovely place to go
A friendly and well located restaurant especially for theatre land. They offer a pre theatre menu as well as a wider selection. Very good service and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.
An Italian restaurant with a very convenient theatre location. Next to the Novello theatre. Pre- and post- theatre menues. Good food, good service. Highly reccommended.
The website promised free wine with a 3-course menu. When we finished our meal we were told that we would have to order a la carte to get free wine. Bait and switch! But the food was excellent and the service friendly and good.
It ended up being very rushed so it was hard to enjoy the food. Our table was for 6pm but our main course hadn’t arrived by 7 and we had to rush out to get to theatre. Also one of our diners had planned to have main & dessert but was unable to beacuse of time.
Food was great. Drinks were great. The restaurant isn't the cheapest place around but for a special occasion it isn't bad. Quiet spot to enjoy a nice glass of wine and some good food. No complaints from me at all.
Light modern restaurant, good service. Italian food with modern take. Large portions! Cod tempura starter (delicious) easily does as a light main if you add a side dish. excellent wild mushroom risotto - again, generous portion. No room for dessert!
Amazing food and atmosphere. I felt so welcomed and the waiter was very attentive. They also had options for vegetarians which made it a better location to bring others.
Excellent food Excellent service Reasonable prices Very handy for the theatres Highly recommend Varied menu with some unusual dishes We will definitely go to this restaurant again
Not bad, but for the price expected better. Steak overcooked and lacked taste, partners chicken tasted poor quality, good wine selection though, starters of mackerel and tempura cod very nice!
Ideal location if you have just gone to the Theatre. Food delicious and healthy portions. Very friendly atmosphere with owner very involved. Love it. Will return.
Everything was perfect, especially the waiter (woman) was sympatic! We paid the servicecarge plus an extra! Quality + taste of food was exellent and we were exact in time for the theatre. Thank you!
Four to Eight was a brilliant find. Very friendly staff and excellent food. The portions are very generous and arrived just at the right speed. The restaurant is deceptively large with a lower level as well. I believe it has been recently renovated and it was well worth it. Keep up the good work and I will definitely be back.
Superb food definitely the best lasagna I’ve tasted in years as they say worth every penny... service was excellent too ... would definitely recommend... thank you
Food was very good but service was a bit slow, one of the starter plates was not cleared from our table until after we were done with the main course.
A very pleasant contemporary style Italian restaurant in the heart of theatre land in London. Great for a pre-show dinner. Food was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. Would definitely go back.
En fin opplevelse totalt sett. Det var god mat, og god vin og en veldig fin beliggenhet når vi skulle videre på musikalen Mamma Mia.
Our favorite restaurant in all of London. Consistently delicious food and creative menu. Impeccable service. Great wine list. In our opinion, London's best kept secret!!
Lovely restaurant - generally great food especially the pigs head starter and the chicken main on the pre-theatre menu. The hake main was a bit tasteless though but decent enough. Fantastic friendly service.
A very attentive staff and a well-prepared meal. A totally enjoyable experience. The mustard chicken was divine as was the mushroom risotto. We highly recommend.
We were able to get our meal quickly and in time for the show. Service was a little less friendly than I would have liked, but still good.
Amazing tasting food, try the truffle pasta! Great selection of italian wines including rare ones. Great service and knowledge of wines, even willing to open a new bottle for just one glass of wine.
Can't praise this restaurant high enough. It takes my friend and I two hours to get there from where we live and we would happily travel for four hours. From the fabulous food to the friendly and welcoming staff to the cleanliness of everything, it's 100% brilliant!
Enjoyed the food which was reasonably priced (for London) and staff were very friendly and helpful. The one thing that confused me was that a glass of wine was served as a glass of 150ml. I am used to the standard measurements 125ml(small), 175ml(medium) & 250ml(large). It's not a criticism just an observation. Anyway it was well situated for a theatre visit.
really enjoyable meal and time in this restaurant, the service and food was great and a good selection of drinks. We will go back when in the area again
It's very tidy and accurate place. Good, I'd like say modern italian kitchen. Unusual italian dishes. But taste is good. Products are fresh. Very polite service.
