Superb independently owned Italian restaurant. The restaurant in Montpellier Quarter has a lovely relaxed ambiance and the food is superb quality. The menu is extensive and includes the usual pastas and pizzas as well as fresh fish and meat dishes etc beautifully cooked and presented. The desserts are "to die for". I would recommend for any informal or formal occasion.

One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to in a long time. The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated and the service was excellent, not rushed in any way. Every course we had was lovely and well presented, would definately go again.

This is the second time we have visited Galo's and yet again we were extremely impressed! The food served here is delectable and the service is impeccable. We come from Derbyshire and the main reason we visited Harrogate again was to have a meal at Galo's again. We will visit again in the summer. Thank you Galo's!

Deliciously simple yet quality ingredients and superb service, all on a “school night” Tuesday! Really enjoyed location in the delightful Montpelier Quarter of Harrogate. Fabulous.

Visited with friends, and had the early menu which is available until 6.45. Great little place. Lovely staff and excellent value early doors menu. We will be back to try the full menu

the meal was lovely, true Italian. Excellent Ravioli. A very good Chianti wine not expensive. A very pleasant atmosphere and the service was excellent. All good.

Fantastic food and service. The pork saltambocca was delicious. Swordfish lovely. Meat fest fab! Starters of scallops yummy. Pizza base with tomatoes very tasty! Pudding very nice indeed. Will visit again

Table for three booked for Saturday, 24th March whilst on a business trip - absolutely outstanding service and quality of food, particularly my colleagues' Mussels cooked in Sambuca starter from the Specials menu, and my Swordfish main course was superb. We will without question be back next year - thank you!!

Great food, was calm at 7pm.... by 8pm it was getting started in true Italian form, if the local Italians are eating there it should be authentic and it sure delivered. Good service and great atmosphere. Enjoy!!!!!

Lovely menu, food and wine! very attentive service, reasonable prices for such high quality authentic Italian cuisine. Lighting slightly bright- but at least we could read the menu!! Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly atmosphere, great meal. Could do with a bit of heat for diners sitting in the window as got a bit chilly but on the whole had a lovely evening.

Impressed by the greeting by the girls on service. Food excellent and a good wine list. How nice to see linen napkins and tablecloths. The lunch menu looks good value. We shall return.
