There are many things we love about Gaucho, from the relationship it builds with its suppliers of the finest Argentinian beef to the way it curates its Argentian wine list, right down to how much every member of the team cares about what they’re doing – a visit to any Gaucho restaurant is certainly not one you’ll quickly forget. Here we have the Hampstead restaurant to be found on this part of London’s Heath Street, not far at all from Hampstead underground. There are options for all sorts of dietary requirements and the restaurant itself provides the perfect setting for any casual yet still very elegant occasion. Gaucho Hampstead is very popular, however, so it’s definitely wise to reserve a table ahead of time.
Lovely, hard-working, friendly staff keep this busy, upscale, place running smoothly. That said, I can sense the private equity-style streamlining that has been taking place. The meat is still very good, but little things have been changing (example, there’s now less variety in the bread plate brought at the start).
The service was great and it’s a nice atmosphere to wine and dine with your girlfriend. I would surely go again because the food was greast and the waitor really goes into detail about the food.
Amazing service! The whole experience was great, but especially the service. The staff (waiters and management) were great. Would definitely go back to the Hampstead Gaucho.
