Food very good- however charging £5 for “winter vegetables” consisting of a few kale leaves & peas seemed steep. When the server was asked about local cask ales(indicated on the menu) the reply was “ San Miguel or Porretti” !!

Monday evening approx 5pm the restaurant was not busy so we were seated on time, but the service was slow. The staff were very polite but the drinks took longer than expected to come to the table and the coffee was served cool

The food was poor, which was a real surprise as we have been going for a few years now as a local resident, the main my wife ordered had several key ingredients missing/substituted, my starter was over seasoned, the first time we have visited and not left with clean plates and smiles.

Went for a Sunday breakfast booked at 10.30am. Food was good but took a long time for our order to be taken and a long wait to receive food - about 11.20am - which is unusual as normally very efficient. Wouldn't have minded as much if they'd mentioned when we arrived that there was a wait or even maybe an apology of delay.

Waited over an hour for food to arrive. It was tasty, but spoiled by long wait and lacklustre service from staff.

Visited for lunch with two friends. We chose from the fixed price menu and weren't disappointed. Food was excellent - well cooked and presented. We all chose seabream for our main course - the fish was delicious and skin nice and crispy. The staff were really pleasant and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Went to celebrate 21st wedding anniversary and was so pleased we did. Had a lovely evening, well looked after with gorgeous food.

Booked in for brunch at 12.30pm. Checked in the week that the brunch menu is available and they said yes. Arrived for 12.30 and when we went to order, they said no brunch available as they had run out of eggs. We left to find somewhere else.

Great friendly service. I had the duck it was cooked to perfectly cooked , my husband had the cider battered fish it was massive, he said the fished just melted in the mouth it was amazing , sweet well the sticky toffee pudding was truly a sweet lovers paradise, moctails with lots of fruity flavours. Food was lovely and the service good but the loudness of the DJ in the bar area made it difficult to hold a conversation without raising our voices. I appreciate it was a Saturday night and he was located in the bar but as we were seated at the edge of the restaurant and therefore in close proximity, the volume of the music interfered with our meal.

Absolutely fantastic food and excellent quality well worth the money

Seated upstairs at the top of the stairs which effectively is a passageway to the toilet. Constant stream if people going to and from the toilet. Additionally tables were very close with one particular table where the dinners were very load making too difficult to have a normal conversation. Not a very nice ambiance. All staff were very pleasant and help full.
