Booked table ready, and restaurant looking festive. Service a little slow, although we arrived promptly at 12.30 before the lunchtime rush had started. Also the only vegetarian choice on the fixed price menu (mushroom ravioli), which I would have chosen, was already unavailable and had been replaced by penne arrabiata, which was not something I wanted. I ended up eating off the main menu, and spending more than I had planned to do. My companions all chose from the fixed price menu. The food was OK, but on the bland side.

Delightful and helpful staff; delicious food although the set menu was not on offer due to menu changes planned for the following day, 3 December, when the Festive Menu would be offered; pleasant atmosphere of local residents quietly dining.

Really lovely food, great ambience, staff very friendly and attentive, but from a discreet distance. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Very highly recommended.

The experience was great, however the restaurant had no record of my reservation, despite my bringing a copy of your confirmation email with me. Nevertheless a table was available and we had a great meal.Thank you.

Warm and friendly welcome, with good service. The food was up to the usual high standard - the Osso Bucco was simply superb! Attentive and very friendly service from the young team. We had a most enjoyable evening.

Good Italian menu. excellent food, commended by my Italian guest. good service and ambience. Pricing reasonable for that area. Downstairs can get noisy when full, but upstairs seemed quieter.

Excellent location, facilities and decor. Considerate, well presented staff. Good attentive service. Food generally good. Lasange and Taglieri Gambe well liked, but Escalop Milanese disappointing, chewy and not very tasty, pasta and sauce not special. I have had much better in my local Italian restaurant in the high street. Although interesting to see, the football on wall to wall television upstairs was really an unwelcome distraction from our dining experience at Getti.

We normally like Getti's very much. Location, food and atmosphere are good value. We were a bit disappointed with this visit. I had booked a table for 10 & I did call in 3 hours earlier to check that it would all be ok, as it was a large number of people. When we arrived it was rather awkward as Getti's staff were waiting for a couple to finish their meal and go so that we could have enough space. One of our party waited outside, then the couple went, having been made to feel that they were in the way. We did get complementary prosecco but it was a shame that the seating couldn't have been better managed.

The service was attentive but not overbearing. The menu choices were extensive and catered for everyone's diverse tastes and the food itself was excellent.

We had a lovely meal and my son enjoyed wonderful "Italian" experience on his birthday, right in the heart of the West End. Staff were all friendly and helpful in spite of the fact that the restaurant was very busy. Highlight for meal was an authentic Italian menu and a wonderful Aperol Spritz.
