Lovely sunday lunch. It's a shame that you gave taken away things that used to be included luke the cauliflower cheese and mash. You have to pay extra for those now.

This was our first visit and will definitely go again, the waiter Kieran was so accommodating as my husband has a shellfish allergy and Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Very tasty High Tea. We were served by a wonderful waiter nothing was too much trouble for him. He had a lovely warm manner and was professional. Beautiful building .

Wonderful experience at the Grand Pacific last night. The decor is very grand and welcoming. Despite having special dietary requirements, the staff were very accommodating and the food was superb ! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t fault them. I will certainly be returning.

The initial service was extremely good and the food, excellent. However, service after the meal was poor and had to ask for the bill twice. Once the bill was received ‘in a box’ that resembled a book , which was fine - no one came to take the payment or explained what the iPad inside the box was for! 5 service people were chatting and laughing at the service area and after 5 minutes managed to attract the attention of one to take the payment! I did not leave a tip as he service after the meal was poor, to say the least., what a great shame after such lovely food to celebrate a special 60th birthday!

Overall it has been a nice dinner, the waiter really nice.

Great venue and food. However food was slow - it took almost an hour and a half for mains to come out. Staff were flustered and hard to get hold of and noise level from the bar was disruptive

What a lovely surprise! We just moved to Manchester and I was looking for somewhere a bit special to take my husband for his birthday. We were not disappointed. It is set in a gorgeous old building and has welcoming staff at the entrance who took our coats. You're then directed upstairs to the beautiful dining room. The wait staff were very professional and attentive. Everything on the menu looks delicious and very reasonably priced for what you get. It was presented beautifully and was equally beautiful to eat. You never know when you haven't been somewhere before and when it hasn't been recommended by anyone (apart from TripAdvisor!) but I was so so pleased with my choice of venue for this special occasion dinner. We'll definitely be going back.
