The restaurant was fullish and clearly beyond its comfort zone - we were in a quiet corner of the restaurant and service was inattentive and slow, albeit perfectly friendly. The food was just plain. The steaks were clearly frozen and you can taste the difference I'm afraid compared to a grown up steak restaurant. It was warm not hot. The Bearnaise sauce was terrible - it tasted of mayo gone off.

Excellent as always. Service fantastic. Food cooked to perfection. Never had a bad experience at this restaurant. We will certainly return again and again. Can't wait to visit at the new location.

The food was lovely but the service is really slow, there was only two waiters. Waited an hour for our mains, which may not sound bad but I just ordered a medium cooked steak!

The food at the restaurant was fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious too. Our starters were also lovely. Food arrived promptly and staff were very helpful. I'd definitely return.

Food is outstanding! And with a relaxed atmosphere - the fussiest of steak connesuers will be impressed! I also had the fish which was just as impressive - all round great experience

The food her was cooked to perfection. The steak was one of the best and tastiest I have ever had. The service however was shocking. The waiter was good but the problem was, there was a packed restaurant and one waiter. He was rushed off his feet and we had to wait 20+ mins just for the bill. The food was superb however service needs to improve and more staff needed

Great food and great service. Good ambiance for a Friday evening. The service team even give us a free desert! The bottle of Malbec was great and portion sizes were very generous.

My wife and i went 17:00 on a Sunday. The restuarant was not busy. Service was good although I had to prompt the waiter for our drinks. Food was well prepared and presented. Decent portion size. Bit pricey for the standard of food served though. I used a Tastecard so brought price down a bit. The venue is very pub like. We enjoyed our visit overall and was stuffed at the end of it. Worth a visit.

good service, burger meat was poor, starter was mean, sauces not good - probably cheap bottled stuff. good value for the bogof offer but would not be at full price

All I can say is perfect as always, perfectly cooked steak and chips, lovely sides and great service with a smile. We will definitely be back soon.

Green's has never failed to meet my expectations. It is a favourite for local steak and it is very good. The service is always prompt and the waiters polite and attentive. The food is good with the steak being cooked just as asked for. The atmosphere is calm and perfect for a quiet night with friends.

Food is amazing. The service should be more attentive there is 10% service charge includet on the bill .Overall very nice experience .I recommended to everyone Thanks

A good value fixed-price early evening deal. Excellent steaks, well cooked. A decent house wine. The chips were rather dried out. Service was generally very good.

Me and my family throughly enjoyed the food and service on offer at Greens Steakhouse. Really really nice RibEye Steak and one that I would recommend.

Had a great time-Fantastic food and good wine for a decent price. However the service was a tad lacklustre! They also didn't actually pay attention to the special requirements given on the reservation-would ring in future to confirm.

Nice atmosphere, Good service & food although the kids were a little disappointed with their mini burgers- we didn't realise they'd be quiet so mini!

Service was great, staff were friendly and warming and the food was amazing. Great way to spend our anniversary, we visit here around 3 times a month and more on special occasions. Lovely jazz music in the background, just sets off a perfect evening!

We visited as a large group for a birthday meal and enjoyed it very much as we always do, greens steakhouse is the best for steak at perfection

Limited menu but the food is excellent..best burger and steak around..found on Saturday evening that is probably get a too busy for them. Had to wait quite along time before the food came out and had keep trying to catch the waiter when we wanted him. Overall though it is a excellent restaurant.

Only reason why i gave 2/10 due to having to listen a drunk family, be extremly disruptive to myself and missus' night out. Her steak was not medium rare but rare, and her garlic butter sauce wasnt worth the 2 quid. Calamari was OK but not great. 14oz rib eye on the bone was perfect size, but could have been cooked better. Tasted watery. Lemonade drinks no flavour at all, more of a sparkling water type drink. But overall service was great

I have been meaning t try out Green's for some time and this week finally managed to get there and try out their food. I had the Ribeye steak and my partner had the Salmon. These were accompanied by french fries and steak fries along with the House Slaw and the Mac and Cheese. The service and all the food was great and the steak was particularly succulent and tasty. The only dish that was not on par with the rest was the Mac and Cheese. I found it to be a little too runny and the pasta used, a little large. Overall though, I would highly recommend a visit

Excellent service, lovely food. Chicken wings the best according to sons. Wine choice very good. Would recommend. Also must try the onion rings, they're delicious x

The food was beautiful, hospitaly could of been better, was left more than noticed. Didn't get a goodbye or thank you as we left. Was abit odd.

Great steaks! Had to ask what the offers were for the night but once we knew they were good value and we will go back

One waiter on duty while restaurant was half full. Service slow, not waters fault. Starters of calamari and sliders lovely, steaks..only one cooked to order, other overdone chips inedible, burnt to a crisp...Didn't bother with desert. Learned from a regular customer. that this was a bad night, head chef called in I'll? Head waiter helping in kitchen. Went there on promotion, Bogof offer ...glad I wasn't paying full price.......Won't hurry back ...

Quiet evening but the food was terrific and the service was good. I would definitely return again and will recommend the restaurant to friends. Great job.

Great quality food, nicely presented. It was an added treat to get to chat to owner Brad Green about his musical heritage and his father's musical achievements. It made my husband's birthday extra special!.

Service good. Food awful. One of the worse meals I have ever had. I couldn't eat it and I wasn't charged for it but the quality of the food for the price charged is a extremely poor.

Great steak...nice restaurant all perfect and not expensive and make sure you have the fillet steak as its top draw and the Chicago ale as a beer

Poor service. Long wait for under cooked steak, medium rare steak requested was barely rare, with all accompaniments being cold. Very over priced for the quality of food served.

Tasty food, generous portions, good busy atmosphere on a Saturday night. Maybe an extra member of waiting staff on the floor would have helped speed up service. Dessert menu could do with some lighter options.

Excellent steak. Very friendly and efficient service. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. When I booked I said the meal was to celebrate a birthday and this was acknowledged on Banoffee Pie plate. Nice touch.

Food was excellent and service was good. Had a wobbly table, but it was soon sorted out. Wine list is not extensive, but had a very nice Merlot. We both had a fillet steak; cooked to perfection. Came with fries which were already seasoned...too much salt for my liking, so would ask for them not seasoned next time...all in all a lovely meal and made better with an offer voucher which helped with the overall bill

Restaurant had no atmosphere and wasn't busy at all. Although steak was well cooked, everything else wasn't. Chips were not edible, veg were way to salty and onion rings very oily. It's a shame as the steak was good!

First time going there and l don't think l will go back . Me and my family ordered steaks and they where not even hot and their salmon wasn't fresh . Not enough waiters only had 1 and 1 chief hence why our food was cold . They over price their food so much you would expect a hot steak and their soft drinks tested funny I returned my sprite twice only to ask for a coke which didn't taste like coke . The only thing l enjoyed was there chocolate fudge brownie desser it was lovely . Overall the set up is nice romantic couples .

Service and Cocktails excellent, as was the steak. Shame the order take got my chips wrong, and the chef left a tiny bit of plastic on my plate. They rectified this with free deserts. Can do better Brad. Chat to your staff. Give the chef a kick from me. Lovely food.

the burger was burnt and the macaroni cheese very dry and overcooked. the offending items were returned and taken off bill with apologies and dessert was given complementary but the experience was disappointing overall and I can't trust that the food will be better next time so I won't return.

It the third time to Greens in a year and unfortunately the standards are slipping badly. It's a shame as the restaurant is cute and there are not many highlights in Southgate. This time the kitchen was excruciatingly slow (half the tables were empty so you would think they would be able to cope) and when my starter of calamari arrived it was deeply disappointing and while the 8 small pieces of squid were artfully arranged on the plate it didn't hide the fact that the portion was tiny and frankly a rip-off. It also didn't help that our waiter didn't even acknowledge that we had to wait 40min for the starter. Another half hour to the main (this time with apology and a free drink). The steak and ribs were delicious but by this time, what was a spontaneous romantic evening out turned into a frustrated "I wish we'd stayed in an cooked ourselves". Verdict: Must try harder!

great atmosphere and food, bit slow on taking the drinks order on arrival but not really a major....looking forward to the next time, going to give the 2 steaks for £39 a try

The food was absolutely astonishing, the customer service was brilliant and the food was delivered fast. Overall i cannot fault this restautant and i highly recommend it.

Lively atmosphere and the midweek steak deal is an excellent one. Steak was excellent (though the ribeye was a bit fattier than previously this time), chips and sides v good, desserts (including still-frozen sorbet) slightly disappointing. Our waiter was a bit 'off' as well. Manager much nicer though. Still some of the best steak I've had in London.

It was my first visit to the restaurant. Nice ambience. Food was good. Wings were delicious. Good service. I would recommend and go back again.
