Il Cucciolo is a superb cosy Italian restaurant only minutes from many theatres . We had a wonderful meal last night . Great value wonderful staff and a real cosy ambiance . I fully recommend it and we ll be back again and again !

Friendly welcome at what feels like a family business. Starters and mains were nicely cooked and full of flavour. Desserts a bit ‘off the peg’. Excellent value though.

We booked a table for 5pm and were placed on a table right by the door. As it was busy, (that's fair enough as it is a business), people who had not booked were allowed to queue just inside the door entrance. So they were right by our table and it's not nice having people's backsides right in your face while you are eating. Our meal was therefore not pleasant and its a shame as the food is lovely. I know it's difficult for the restaurant but we felt let down having specially booked a table.

A little gem of a restaurant. We booked for between the Cursed Child plays and 5he restaurant filled up very quickly. We were worried that this might affect the service with everyone arriving at once. However, the service was fantastic. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was great bu5 very relaxed. I ordered a pizza and I can honestly say it was the nicest tasting pizza I’ve had for a very long time. My husband ordered the home made Lasagne and was equally enthusiastic. We also enjoyed a bottle of red wine which we thought was reasonably priced. Highly recommended authentic Italian food and we won’t hesitate to go again.

What a lovely little restaurant, the food was exceptional and the atmosphere and service were very welcoming, both my mum and I really enjoyed our meal.

Good price/quality. We’re served very quickly what is great for who wants to go for the meal before theatre. Would visit again.

A pre theatre meal, it was just wonderful, i am so pleased to have found this 'proper' Italian restaurant. The excellent reviews that i read before booking were completely right. The food was perfect, beautifully seasoned and freshly cooked, served piping hot. The slight wait for food was noted but immediately forgiven with such tasty meals in front of us. We were pleased to have allowed plenty of time to enjoy our meal and drinks and were not hurried off our table although plenty of people were being turned away at the door. i would suggest that prior booking is essential. Service was polite and friendly, prices reasonable, we will definitely be booking again.

Good pre theatre dinner, although the penne pasta was a disappointment. The staff were charming and efficient. The pan fried lamb’s liver was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked.

Day in London celebrating my daughters 21st and booked this restaurant. It was excellent. Food fabulous and good portion size and very friendly service. Could tell it was a family based restaurant. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting authentic Italian food.?
