Cozy and friendly family restaurant, great location for theatre land

Lovely little authentic Italian restaurant. Good traditional food. Attentive service. Will definitely go there again when in London.

This wasn’t our first visit. We returned because of a previous great experience and this time did not disappoint. The food was excellent and it was served efficiently by friendly staff. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy we were not rushed and we felt very comfortable in the lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this excellent restaurant. I would advise booking in advance.

A pleasant little Italian restaurant in Soho serviced by friendly Italian waiters. We dined from the fixed price luncheon set menu. The food was served quite quickly and pleasantly presented. If I had any criticism, it would be be that the set menu is quite restrictive. Otherwise, a pleasant little gem for Italian dining in Soho.

Restaurant was quiet, not much atmosphere. I had the veal with mushroom & cream sauce, which was nice but not great. Just came with sauté potatoes, boiled carrots & broccoli. I should have chosen a pasta dish but I cook this myself a lot at home.

We use the restaurant a couple of times because we like the food and the service. With many people in the restaurant the noise could be high, but not too high.

Il Cucciolo is a superb cosy Italian restaurant only minutes from many theatres . We had a wonderful meal last night . Great value wonderful staff and a real cosy ambiance . I fully recommend it and we ll be back again and again !

Friendly welcome at what feels like a family business. Starters and mains were nicely cooked and full of flavour. Desserts a bit ‘off the peg’. Excellent value though.

We booked a table for 5pm and were placed on a table right by the door. As it was busy, (that's fair enough as it is a business), people who had not booked were allowed to queue just inside the door entrance. So they were right by our table and it's not nice having people's backsides right in your face while you are eating. Our meal was therefore not pleasant and its a shame as the food is lovely. I know it's difficult for the restaurant but we felt let down having specially booked a table.
