Family lunch , great service, wide ranging menu- every dish we had was delicious

it was quite good, would have preferred brighter lighting. The wait for the main course was longer than expected or preferred.

We enjoyed the food. Service was good. A bit noisy.

We had a lunch time event for 10 of us. We were the first there but curiously the staff seemed to be a bit disorganised. When we ordered the food, 3 of us ordered Chinese food and 7 ordered Indian food. For some reason, the Chinese food was all delivered even before those ordering Indian food could place their main course orders. So things were rather disjointed but broadly speaking the food was good and the service was OK. The place has more atmosphere in the evenings than the day time when it all seems a little more functional.

Fabulous food and friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys top quality, authentic Indian food.

Such a lovely venue and good very good and service good.

We went there after a couple of years and experienced that the service of the restaurant has considerably declined. Regardless the taste of the food that we had ordered wasn’t bad.

Had not been before but will be returning. Good food.

Visiting Imperial is always fun. Oriental starters like crispy okra, Bombay chilly chicken dry are the best!

The food was great, service was quick with good atmosphere

Among 4 main dishes, ordered chilli chicken and it was inedible. Did let the staff know but still was charged although we did not touch the dish. We were told next time we will adjust but don’t think we will go next time :( and posting this review (it’s being negative) itself is a task! What a joke!

The restaurant accommodated us even though we arrived late. The food was great and we enjoyed ourselves.

The food was very good (large portions) and quick service as we needed to be quick for our visit next door to the Croydon Airport

Starters came in dribs and drabs so we were not able to enjoy the starters together. However mains all came together and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Had very Terrible experience today, we were regulars here but this time it was so terrible. Food quantity and quality was very less, our regular favourite dishes had changed its taste and flavour. It was ver over priced as well, we as a family of 3 costs 70 £ for a dinner with platter, soup and drinks. Service was very slow, we had to call them to take orders. Regarding the cleanliness , glass was very fishy smelling so that my child couldn’t drink water. The drinks was very priced and not having any flavour, with only ice and soda. Won’t recommend to anyone and would never go back to this restaurant Won’t recommend to anyone again.

The location, service and restaurant ambience was good however the food was average.

Great food. Lamb chops absolutely fantastic so well worth the price! All food was great.

Service was a bit slow given it was not really busy. Food was delicious though. Drinks could be served quicker. Tap water shud be made available on table when starters arrive.

Prompt service, the chef made exceptions and customised one of the dishes for us specifically which we appreciate a lot.

10 of us went to celebrate and we had a lovely evening , food was great , plenty of it and very tasty.

This was our first time here. The restaurant itself was clean. I found the staff were a bit unfriendly. Not rude though. Although the food was nice. It wasn't to my taste. Bit too spicy for my liking. We will be going back. But next time I'll go for less spicy.

Once a month our bookclub meets at imperial. We choose from the special lunch menu. Yesterday I chose the vegetarian spring roll. I was given 2 pieces in a bowl. Previously this dish comprised 4 pieces on a platter. I questioned rhe manager and was told the menu has changed! Not changed but halved it seems. Totally unacceptable and very disappointing.

Good tasty food. Service was quite fast and efficient. Crispy okra was a hit amongst us.

Large restaurant and as it was early lunchtime we were only people there for most of the time. We had the lunchtime menu ( 2 courses) with a glass of wine and complimentary coffee. Came to £21 (inclusive of tip) each. One of us had Chinese and the other had Indian. Good size portions and we were offered takeaway containers without prompting. Would go again.

We have frequented Imperial a few times. Good food. Great service. Will be back again.

This used to be my favourite place every time to go. Now they are overcharging and giving less portions, charging main meal prices for starters and giving hand size bowls for the portion is unacceptable. Will not be going here anymore.

The chicken lollipop was not like always. Over fried on top and taste of raw Ginger and garlic paste. Dint like it and told the waiter. Nothing was done.

Good food and service Was busy and coffee machine not working

Firstly we felt very rushed and waiters were not attentive not even a smile didn’t feel welcomed. Secondly such a big restaurant and did not know how to serve Irish coffee. Hats off to the chef food was excellent. So our new introduced at least liked that experience. 🙏🏼
