Great environment, food tasty - wished we had been advised about the size of garlic cheesy bread as would not have ordered two potions before our main meal. Will come again.

Excellent American style barbecue food, with great service and lovely staff. We chose boneless wings and the sharing platter which was a little too much to consume, so the restaurant sent us rolling home with a doggy back of brisket, burnt ends and chicken. Highly recommended

The food, the atmosphere & the service was great, I cannot fault the place & I highly recommend Jacks Smokehouse. Hope to visit there again soon.

Fantastic fresh tasty food...best brisket ever..superb lunchtime deal £5 menu. Free drink refills..excellent value.Staff helpful and attentive. Very clean 5* establishment. Highly recommended.Will definitely be returning.

Went with a bunch of girls from work. Had a brilliant evening. The 2 for 1 cocktails were a bonus and think we all tried everyone off the menu

Food was really good although the restaurant was busy so we had a wait. The staff were really apologetic and gave us a free round of drinks by way of apology

Great food. Well looked after by the staff, especially Amy who is a real credit to the restaurant. Would have rated higher but had a couple of small issues.

The food was lovely but there was a young girl who served us who was very rude. We complained about it and no one did anything about it or even seemed bothered about our complaint.

The service wasn't great, it took them 20 minutes to tell my wife that they had run out if what she had ordered, it took ages for someone to ask us if we wanted extra drinks and the food was very greasy

Relaxed American style diner. Good burgers. Nice range of draught beers. Price very reasonable. Excellent milk shakes including the Nutella Donut. Will try the steaks next time.

Jacks Smokehouse is one of the best eateries in Oldham. Serving a wide range of American Themed food and drink. It's friendly staff make the atmosphere relaxing. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the Manager is very obliging.

Thursday evening 2-4-1 Strawberry Daiquiris were amazing, we lost count how many we had. The full group all really enjoyed their meals. Will definitely be back for more! Really good value for money.

Always a pleasure to visit Jacks Smokehouse! We brought our family a couple of months ago and we've been back 3 times.... Fabulous food, service, atmosphere its just brilliant! Our kids love it, it's a very warm and welcoming place for the whole family.

Service was very slow despite place not being overly busy. Steak arrived over cooked. Very expensive for poor quality food. We travelled a fair distance....Very disappointed :(

First time at Jacks, booked a table for my sons birthday...staff were lovely, friendly with great customer service. Absolute food coma❤️ Great food...not for dieters! Reasonably priced! Just a shame it was a hot day, towards the end of our meal a group of loud lads that had been on the beer sat in the booth next to us which I didn't appreciate the language and content of conversations where my child could hear😞 Staff was great, gave us a doggy bag...overall a great night.... Recommend the sharing platter...the brisket is the best, plenty of meat on the babyback ribs and the smoked beans, Mac n cheese was on point..absolutely delicious!! Great place (just a shame where it is)

Excellent food and service. Will definitely be going back. They had no record of my booking though so would confirm with them next time I booked online.

Great food but very slow service. 1 hour 45 to get a lunchtime main item and pudding. A large party of people in at lunchtime so told food would be a little delayed but waited over a hour for the main and then pudding of a scoop of ice cream and pancakes and ice cream took over half an hour. Such a shame as first time there.

Brilliant attentive staff, lovely atmosphere and the chilli is just lush mmmm!! Cocktails are a must to try with offers on daily. (BOGOF) I loved the strawberry daiquiri 💕

A lovely meal spoiled by awful service. We waited 35 minutes for the order to be taken. Food came quite quickly and was great apart from the beans as a side order. Really runny sauce, not what I was expecting. When it says on the menu contains meat I was expecting to see at least some, not a shred to be seen! Impossible to catch wait staff's eye to order more drinks. Felt totally invisible. They walked past without even glancing at us. Waited another 30 mins for table to be cleared. We only had mains, no starters and the only desert was a kids ice cream. Table was booked for 7 and we were on time, seated quickly but didn't get out until gone 9. Only about 30 mins was eating time so out nice school night treat turned into a very late night. Really disappointed as we'd travelled from urmston due to the good reviews. Prob won't bother again.

The food and staff were of the highest quality , we were looked after by Leah who made our night special she really looked after the children , definately go again

the food was delicious but service from the bar was slow. fortunately,we ordered a bottle of wine but the beer was slow in coming. we would probably dine here again as the overall experience was good.

Excellent on all 3 fronts.......food, service and value. Booking on a Saturday evening is sensible as the wait time was an hour. Recommend happily and looking forward to our next visit.

Had a great lunch time meal from the £5 menu with my daughter, then lovely chocolate fudge cake for dessert! The food is of a really high standard and great value.

It was like sitting in a noisy canteen. We waited ages for our food and drink and when it make it was poor. Not worth the money we paid. Will not recommend and never go back

5 of us went for sons 15th birthday. Staff were really friendly. The service and the food were both excellent. Definitely would go back again.

The food was faultless only issue was the poor waitress jasmine (I think she was called) was on her own and it was extremely busy. She worked hard with a smile on her face

Good efficient service with friendly staff. The rag pudding is massive and could be considered a challenge in itself, 2 of us couldn't finish half of it.

Friendly staff, quick to refill drinks, personally food wasn't to my taste, had the jacks stack with chicken and beef burger topped with pulled pork, bacon and cheese, found it quite bland but my friend seemed to enjoy hers so could have just been me.

Yet again another fantastic meal at Jacks. I went for the Louisiana Gumbo simply delicious. Highly recommended and will be back again very soon. Excellent service too.

Great place to go. Food is amazing. There is a lot to chose from on the menu and its value for money too. Staff are friendly and make you feel at home. If you haven't been. Get a table booked you won't regret it. 😁

Food was excellent, compliments to the chef. Unfortunately the customer service was terrible, the waitress was very rude when taking our orders and even though we'd booked a table for 7:30 it wasn't until past 8 that we were able to sit at a table suitable for our needs.

The staff were very friendly however we had to wait for an hour and half to eat our food and by the time it eventually arrived we were that fed up of waiting we did not enjoy our food

The food was fantastic; Rag pudding & legendary Arthur burger followed by Waffle stack and strawberry & cream sundae. Friendly service and not unreasonable waits for food. The only drawback was our table. Two of us sharing a table of two with a bucket of cutlery, marketing material, a range of sauces meant that we were struggling for table top space. The table was awkwardly positioned so we felt like an after thought. That didn't spoil our evening, we will definitely be going back.
