What a great place. Lovely staff, very attentive without intruding. Great service, great food and great rye whisky. I will definitely come here again. Fantastic evening.

Poor front of house service. Staff ignored line of people queuing. Food was mediocre. Sweet potato squashed on the floor that was by our table when we arrived. Still hadn't been cleaned by the time we were leaving. Odd, as the place seemed over staffed but poorly managed.

A Good vibe, good food and good service. Nothing amazing about the restaurant but a good safe option with lots of choice for food and whiskey!

Restaurant had a good atmosphere, food was tasty apart from the seafood gumbo which was a little cold. Sweet potato fries are always the best.

I am a huge fan of Jackson & Rye, and have eaten regularly at the Chiswick, and at the Richmond Restaurants. For the first time I was really disappointed with the service and taking two hours to basically be served an extremely simple meal, (without coffee). Particularly as we decided to go there for our Valentines Dinner after eating breakfast at Chiswick on Sunday. I was also surprised the Restaurant decided to do nothing special to mark the occasion! I think they are missing some major opportunities! The food was good as usual, but if their attempts to delay my meal between courses was to get me to drink more beer, which I did, they are at risk loosing an extremely loyal Customer!

Great food and service. Very nice atmosphere. Although the restaurant was busy it seemed that everyone was well attended to. Would definitely consider another visit.

Mellow lunchtime music. Delicious swordfish. Charming and helpful staff. The family love this place and it lived up to expectations. Love the drip coffee too.

Great cocktails. Food is good although I think they are better at breakfasts (which are terrific) than dinner. Great place to sit and good atmosphere I have been before and will go again. Try it.

We always enjoy visiting this restaurant and the food, service and ambiance is generally very good. Last night the fish cakes, chouder, buttermilk chicken and short rib were very nice but the swordfish with salad leaves and potatoes was too dry; the sauce described on the menu sounds perfect but it's little more than half a teaspoon of dressing in the middle of the fish. I've tried it twice now and been disappointed both times, but overall - a very enjoyable meal.

My current favourite local Sunday brunch spot. Good food. Friendly service. Undersized cocktails. If they were to serve them in adult not child portions it would definitely be a 5. :-)

Great restaurant in Chiswick, the food is delicious, reasonably priced, good wines and cocktails selection. The service is also good. I would give 6 starts if the menu would be updated a bit more often

Food was tasty and our waiter was great! The food came pretty quick and the staff were attentive. We didn't feel rushed neither did we have to wait for service. Will definitely be going back!

Always have a decent meal here, my only gripe this time was my steak was slightly over cooked, I like it medium to well, pink is ok, just no blood and it was definitely well done, still I think it's very good, service is great, room is lovely, all in all a very nice evening out

Lovely restaurant amazing food great flavours and some amazing and inventive dishes. Choice of whiskeys and yes to choose from could keep me happy for a long time and the bartender knows his drinks. For a cosy meal for two or a night out for a group great place to go. Though not good for kids in the evenings

The food was pretty good but we didn't appreciate being asked if everything was alright every 5 minutes when we were trying to have a conversation and then being harassed to pay and leave our table as quickly as possible. I wouldn't of minded if the place was busy and needed our table but there were plenty of tables available and therefore didn't like the feeling of being pressured to leave, we actually would of stayed for longer and ordered more things if the service had been better.

We particularly like the tuna tartare. We also like the ribs and the cod in the main menu. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service.

We were sat upstairs in a booth. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We had some lovely food and they kindly gave us time between our starters and mains because we had been a little greedy with our order! The service was great, as were the drinks - they had a peanut butter martini as a special which was so much fun!

I love this place. Food is delicious, service is wonderful, and if you get a corner booth table, it's really cosy too. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Good location. Food was ok but nothing amazing. Good for a quick bite but would try something off the normal menu next time instead of the brunch. Service very good and very friendly staff and not too pushy which was fantastic. Sent the restaurant an email and didn't get a reply so had to call 2 days later and the person on the phone wasn't friendly or apologetic.

Good food, with a good variety of options. Service could be quicker but we were compensated for the long wait with free drinks, which was much appreciated.

Still one of the best options in W4 and it's a competitive environment. Consistently good service and food. One of those local gems that it's grew to have on your doorstep.

After three attempts at this chain, at two of its locations, I have to give up - I really wanted to like it but it's not worth it. This time I visited the Chiswick branch. Our drink orders were both wrong. My boyfriend asked if they had fresh juices and the waiter said yes, so he asked for apple and ginger. They brought carrot, apple and ginger, and when we queried it, the waitress said that the juices came pre-bottled. We both had the pulled pork hash, which was dry and quite bland, topped with overcooked poached eggs and about one teaspoon of thin, watery hollandaise. I'd only go back here for the pancakes, which I've had on another occasion - don't bother otherwise.
