Delicious food, the haloumi burger was divine. Strongly recommended! Staff were very friendly

We had a fantastic time. Great food and the staff were very helpful and polite. Very attentive. Food served quickly and was delicious. Very happy and will be going back again soon plus recommending to friends.

It was very busy and on a table of two felt we were pushed up against the pole. It was very noisy and felt as though we were packed in tightly. Shame as it wasn't like that before.

Booked for a lunch and had a very tasty chicken burger, very good fries and chipotle mayo.

Music too loud and felt rushed to make decisions on food choices.

It was a good place to go for a quick City lunch.

Great service but rather a long wait for what is quite simple food. I suspect the kitchen was short staffed. A steak ordered rare was served well done but was cheerfully replaced albeit with another long wait.

Nice place, with a great atmosphere. The food was great and we really enjoyed our food. More vegan options would be lovely :)

When we arrived there was a booth available so we sat there. The small table for two that was reserved was too small. Food was good as was service even though the restaurant was busy.

Used to love this place, however when we went last week as a couple for dinner, we discovered that they’ve removed the restaurant part, so it’s all just the bar area, which is extremely loud. We spent the meal in silence staring at our phones because we couldn’t hear each other over the loud music and the large party next to us. Won’t be coming back to eat, although I might go for after work drinks

I had booked a table for 5 for lunch and I called approx 10 minutes before our booking time to pre order our lunches. I was told our booking would be cancelled as the the electricity had gone down in the whole street. I was not contacted by the restaurant to inform me of the incident and just had to find another restaurant.

Great location and a good breakfast. Booked again, so must be good.

Waiter was bang average, very slow, forgot our fries and beers and tried to charge us for them. Food was good but service let you down.

Here for my birthday dinner. Very good food, excellent service and a glass of rose fuzz on the house to celebrate. What more could you want?

Service was fantastic. They overheard someone say happy birthday away my table and brought us a congratulatory drink. Food was good, noise levels make it a good place for a business lunch

I used to like this place until your did a makeover. Music too loud, not enough tables, did not like the area of where the tables were and menu very limited. Waitress service was good . Wont be going there again

Waited ages for food and drinks not even busy staff very laid back - waited about 25mins 30 mins for drinks, and 1 hour for food, also food came out at different times (mine came out 15 mins afterwards) so parters was cold when are together. Very disappointed- would recommend or come here again. To top off the annoyance the waiter questioned the bill at the end when we decided to pay 8% tip rather than 12% which was on the bill. - due to terrible service.

all changed: smaller venue, reduced menu, very noisy, slower service, meat “all right”. Thankfully staff courteous.

I had advised before arriving at the restaurant that it was our anniversary and after being seated we received a free glass of bubbly each and our waiter wished us a happy anniversary. This really made us feel special! Food was so good all 3 courses were great with no complaints. Overall a lovely evening!

Nice venue, though it was very quiet when we were there. Service was fantastic and they even brought out a little surprise cake for my friend's birthday which was a lovely touch. Food was tasty, would recommend the forager for brunch =)

Nice place but extremely noisy. I think they have redesigned the building slightly. There used to be a quieter place for dinner however that has now been removed and you are seated next to the bar hence the noise. Food was nice and staff were friendly.

Staff were lovely and very attentive. Not much to choose from on the menu but the food we did have was very nice. Lovely venue, clean and great location for work lunches.

A very nicely decorated restaurant, with excellent food and great staff. The cocktail suggestion was excellent and the dishes, which arrived in a timely manner, were very nicely presented. We will surely visit again.

Came here on the first day of its re-opening after its shrinkage. A lot smaller than it used to be, however service and food were great. Not sure how it will be when its busy, can imagine it will feel a little cramped and noisy.

I visit Jackson and rye regularly. I love the interior and the ambience makes it good for relaxed breakfast work meetings in the morning. The fresh orange juice is great - it makes a difference when it is not out of the carton!

Excellent service. Staff were friendly and efficient. The four of us all enjoyed our meals. We chose from the Christmas menus which contained good choices. The duck was especially good and the puddings delightful. We all had "clean" plates at the end! We're already planning our next visit.

I had a breakfast meeting here recently. Service was good and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in the city. I would most definitely recommend and will be heading back again soon.
