Jaipur Cottage

We visited with a group of friends for the Sunday lunchtime buffet. For the majority of the time we were the only people in there. The food and service is excellent and always has been. We cannot understand why it was so quiet on the Sunday lunchtime. The staff could not be more courteous and attentive. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely restaurant with delightfully helpful staff. Starter of tandoori salmon excellent. The mains were chicken byriani and balti tandoori chicken. Both were ok but a little tasteless however we both have colds so maybe we had lost some of our taste. With two rounds of drinks £55. Parking is difficult.

Excellent food from a very good menu, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent table service, all in a lovely setting. We wil be going back again for sure !!

Food was delicious however the service was very slow. The wrong starters came out to us and then the curry came without the rice. Also the table for two was so small we couldn't fit everything on it so had to ask if they could remove the jug of water

This was the first time my wife and I have visited this restaurant in Clent. We have experienced many Indian Restaurants over the years but we would like to say Well Done to all the Staff at Jaipur Cottage for making this first visit such a fantastic evening. The food was excellent, all the staff were well presented and very accommodating. We are looking forward to our next visit hopefully very soon. We are looking forward to trying many more of your wonderful dishes on the menu. Once again a big thank you for the excellent service and excellent food.

Beautiful setting, attentive and friendly staff, and delicious food. The menu is extensive with all the usual favourites plus many more interesting dishes - well worth a trip off the beaten track, or for a treat when you've built your appetite walking over the beautiful Clent Hills.

Once again it was a pleasure to come to Jaipur Cottage. This time our son came with us for the first time and was very impressed with the whole of the dining experience and has said he is looking forward to his next visit to this lovely restaurant. Many thanks to the staff for the excellent food and fantastic service. Well done!

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly service. What's not to like?! They were able to take a large last minute booking by putting themselves out and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant mains, super sides and fantastic breads. Highly recommended.

Great food. Will eat there again. Can highly recommend the mango delight curry. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean with great ambience. 10/10

Nice surroundings and a friendly service, Varied menu. Well stocked bar. I did think food could be slightly warmer but maybe due to numbers of people being served.

Very enjoyable time, courteous service, really good food, generous portions nice atmosphere. Do go and see for yourself. We will be going again to sample more of their menu.

Excellent food and service was provided. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff made my mom feel special on this Mother's Day.

Excellent food, if you have not visited you must book, you will not be disappointed. It gets very busy so I suggest making a reservation. It also does takeaway!

My wife and I enjoyed yet another pleasant evening at Jaipur Cottage, Clent. The food was excellent. Very well presented. The staff were 100% in every way. Once again many thanks for a perfect evening. Looking forward to our next visit.

Staff friendly, however I felt the quality of food was quite poor for the price of the meals. don't think I would recommend this restaurant.

This is our second visit to Jaipur cottage, Clent. Looking forward to our next visit in 2016. My wife and I were treated exceptionally well once again. Compliments to the chef and waiters. Food and service was excellent.

Tasty food, great service, personal quaint location lovely atmosphere really enjoyable evening I would definitely go there again and recommend the place, all in all a positive experience

Very good restaurant with tasty , but not spectacular, food. We last went there many years ago and the decor doesn't seem to have changed much. The restaurant layout is very unusual but I guess that's down to the wonderfully located, historic building it occupies.

No buffet as advertised, the reason given was that there were not enough people dining. The restaurant is looking very tired, with very little atmosphere. The food when it arrived was very disappointing, and poorly presented. The one saving grace was our waiter who was charming. Would we go again......most definitely not.

Consistently good food but the service can be a little slow. Probably the best Indian in the area at the moment. Would definitely recommend a visit

Lovely setting even romantic, staff were very friendly and welcoming and food was flavoursome and plenty of it, service was very good. We went at 7:00 pm on a Wednesday evening so it was very quiet and therefore just lacking a bit if atmosphere. Would definitely go again and recommend to others Very nice
