Pleasant ambience but slow service to start - our table wan't ready even though we had booked. Food good enough, rated at 7/10 - expensive and a bit cheeky to charge £1.50 for a poppadom, plus 10% service charge.

Amazing food, the best MoMo's I've had outside Nepal! (A must have! A really filling starter, but so worth it!) Great service, with knowledgeable staff.

Fantastic food and service, never had a bad experience. The new street food menu is amazing. This is a family run restaurant and the staff are always welcoming.

Loved the momo's they were yummy! The service was great and the staff were happy to tell us what were the most Nepalese dishes. Loved the momo's!

Fantastic food, as ever, but on this occasion they were severely understaffed which let down the whole experience somewhat. I know, however, that this is not the case generally so will be back as it really is a great place to go for a reasonably priced and extremely tasty lunch.

We were a table of ten. Food came out together and was delicious. Only improvement is that the service could be quicker given that it was a lunchtime sitting and therefore the usual one hour restriction applies.

Enjoyed my evening there food was average compared to other Nepalese restaurants I've visited menu was also more Indian than Nepalese bottled beer could do with being chilled more as it was warm my biggest gripe was as I couldn't find the toilets took a wrong turn through a fire exit to walk in to a mound af rubbish bags piled high containing waste yards from where I was eating

Service and food was excellent. Beautiful nan breads, probably the best I have ever eaten. I had the Nepalese lamb curry, it was beautiful albeit a little salty (that's probably down to my dislike for salt though). Overall, awesome!!

Disappointed that the Street food menu was not available as it has been discontinued- website still advertises it. Food was nice, portions satisfactory but service could be better as 1st waitress struggled with English and was in need of training. May go back when the street food menu is re-instated

Great food and all reasonably priced. The soup was particularly amazing. Only down point we were unfortunately seated quite close to the door on a chilly night.

Quite busy for a Wednesday evening so good atmosphere. Service was attentive and well paced although our starters were a little slow to arrive. Food was great, spices were well balanced and all the flavours came through. Chicken and lamb dishes both very tender. Vegetarian dishes were excellent. Will certainly keep this restaurant on our go to list.

Beer was brilliant, service good and curry was very tasty. The atmosphere was great and we were made to feel welcome on a busy Friday night. Nepalese cuisine is my favourite and this lived up to expectations. Excellent

Great restaurant with good friendly service. Fantastic food, well presented. Best popadoms I've ever eaten. Traditional momos - a Nepali speciality. Great Nepali lamb curry. Served with daal bhat and salad. Pistachio kulfi was the perfect end to a wonderful meal.

Not knowing what to expect from a Nepalise restaurant we were pleasantly surprised. The food is a mix of Indian and Chinese. The service was excellent with no pressure and the room was well set out clean and plenty of space between tables. When the food arrived it was extremely well presented our starters were almost a meal in themselves. The main courses and sides all arrived together we're hot and delicious. This is definitely a restaurant to recommend.JP

The restaurant was well set out with plenty of room. The service was very good and the food delicious. This will be in my top 10 places to go back to and I would highly recommend it. For those not knowing what to expect from a Nepalese restaurant, my description would be it is Indian food with some Chinese influence. the starter course was almost areal in itself and the main was plentiful. All the food was served hot and fresh. My only criticism is it was a little pricy but it is in the centre of town so probably justified. The on line menu needs an update as some of the set menus are no longer available.

Lovely venue. The food was delicious but we felt it was all rather rushed im afraid. Maybe need to ask the customers if they are ready for their next course perhaps.

Restaurant was nice and well laid out. The food was excellent, particularly the prawns and good value for money. One complaint was that our waiter, who was very polite, only checked on us once immediately after the food was served and thus didn't check we that we needed more drinks when we did.

The service was great, friendly staff. Not pushy, didn't hover around table, didn't rush you. The restaurant it's self was clean, nicely decorated. To top it all the food was fabulous, after many years of eating curry dishes I've got to say it was the best I've tasted ! 😀

Ambience good, staff keen to do everything they can to give a good experience. Downsides : over priced, service charge is added and then they also ask for a tip if you are using a card machine. If they had not done this I would have given a tip, but not twice.

Starters and mains were very tasty. Service was good too and staff are extremely helpful. Only downside is the sides. 2 Poppadam's for £3? We had a set menu and asked to change the Naan for Roti and got one cut in half for two. At £24.50 each I was quite surprised!

We have visited Jojolapa on a number of occasions because the service & food are excellent. We particularly enjoy the Chicken Choyla (starter) & their Rogan Josh (main course) - we'll certainly be visiting again shortly. Enjoy.

When we arrived our table of three was originally positioned between two big birthday groups so we asked to be reseated further away a request duly dealt with without fuss and we ended up with a much better and quieter table. The service was a little slow between courses and it was difficult to communicate with the staff but this could be excused on a busy Saturday night. That said the food was nice, we went for a set menu with three courses but could barely manage two, blame that on the popadums, way too delicious!

We visited Jojolapas as a group of 4 and the food was excellent, both couples shared the mixed starter and we shared 3 main courses between us including the Lamb Rogan Josh, they were all lovely and each very different flavour sensations.
