Great food, a really nice atmosphere, lovely staff and a decent price. Overall a really great experience and one I can't wait to repeat soon.

The food was delicious and flavoursome and the portion sizes were decent. Service was excellent and the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. Will definitely visit again

Nice décor, good service, good food, good portions. It was a very enjoyable experience overall. The only down side was that one page of my menu was a little difficult to read.

more an Indian reastaurant than Nepalese, (I dont suppose the Nepalese people had a large culinary repitoir) but we managed to find a few dishes and they were all extremely good

Good service, decent price and nice atmosphere. Only thing I would say is that the menu is very similar to an Indian restaurant and didn't feel particularly "Nepalese", so worth asking for an authentic dish to be recommended to you rather than choosing yourself if you would like something more authentic.

It was a great quiet Saturday night meal, perfect for what we wanted. Not noisy, and we didn't need to dress up. While it was possibly our error in menu choices all the gravies were very similar. But everything tastes good, so we are not complaining. The fish starter was brilliant.

Excellent food and service ! Even had complimentary drinks when we had finished our meal. Didn't have dessert so can't comment on that. Definitely recommend !

I've been to Jojolapa so many times over the last few years and the food has been amazing apart from the last two times. It is still nice and the steamed momos are to die for but something has changed in the flavour and it's not so amazing anymore. I would still go again.

Excellent, we have been to this restaurant several times and cannot fault it, the food is excellent, service is good, environment is clean, tidy and comfortable, we have recommended it to several family and friends, all of whom have found it to be the same.

We visited last night and thought starters and mains were great . Very friendly and helpful staff who made good recommendations ..We will definitely be back .

Service excellent. Food super. Tandoori mixed grill starter for 2 was the best we have ever had, the fish on it was great and the rogan josh was the tops. The others with us had different things which were just as good.

We have visited Jojolapa before - hence the return visit. Friendly welcome, nice table position with quick attention. The food is always well presented, tasty & very satisfying. Would recommend the Chicken Choyla as a starter & the signature Rogan Josh dish - excellent. Look forward to our next visit.

It was really nice, was initially told there were no momos (a Nepalese dumpling like a Dim Sum), a trip back to the kitchen and it was all sorted…. and we were all very happy.

Had a meal for 8 people , two meals were luke warm , 3 meals were too spicy to eat . We kept being given drinks we hadn't ordered and the service was very poor- we will not be going back.

Absolutely delicious food. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the spices were perfectly balanced, I loved it. The staff were very nice but it seemed like they checked in every five minutes, it was excessive. Very good value overall.

Very good food and service. No complaints whatsoever. My friends and I had been several times before and certainly hope to revisit in 2017. I only say 'hope' because, at my age (it was my 69th birthday) - well, you never know....

The wait was very long, I understand it was busy but we felt the staff just concentrated on busy and bigger tables. We ordered 2 naans and only one came out. Food was good but very spicey even when I asked for mild.

An excellent meal - Service is prompt, and unobtrusive, drinks not too expensive but the star of the show was the food - The menu is not overly complicated, but we ended up ordering their set meal - We can honestly say that the tastes were exceptional - Well worth calling in when you are in Birmingham city centre!

Booked a Nepalese restaurant expecting something a little different, just the usual Indian menu. Place was so cold we had to keep our coats on throughout.

absolutely amazing, the chicken dumpling starter was great. Really great atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Have recommended to everyone, and am coming back asap

Food was fresh, tasty and didn't have to wait long. Limited choice of sweets. Other than that I would return. Parking is difficult so I would park in snow hill station and and walk.

Excellent and quick service. Went in for lunch, told our waiter we had less than an hour and our food came out in 10 minutes!

Great value lunch for £6.99. Made a pre-order for a large group and all the food came out very quickly upon our arrival and was all accurate. This is definitely a better lunch experience for a work team lunch than we have had at other places in the Colmore area. Will be returning.

Heard mixed reviews so thought I would try this restaurant out as we love eating out - food was good - venue was very busy and service wasn't very attentive. Wouldn't rush to go back but wouldn't avoid either. Different menu with a good choice of dishes on offer.

This is the third time I have been to this restaurant and each time it has been better. The food, service, cleanliness is excellent, and I can not fault it. I was accompanied by several girlfriends who were all just as impressed and 2 have already booked to return with partners. Excellent and would recommend to all.

Every time I go to Jojolapa I know what will I get: delicious food and cozy environment. The staff is always very friendly and prices are very reasonable for the city center location.

Great restaurant; stylish; lovely atmosphere; attentive staff; and above all, fantastic food! I would heartily recommend the Nepalese signature dishes - just that little bit different.

First class meal and service will certainly be returning in the near future the friends we were with said it was the best curry they had ever had.

Great new lunchtime tapas style menu, full of interesting Nepalese food - reminscent of Indian style food, but with a subtle twist. Our choices were mainly spicy but not overpoweringly so, letting you taste all of the different flavours. Plenty of veggie options as well as choice for meat eaters.
