A Very friendly welcome, lovely food and a great atmosphere.

We wait for the vegan buffet night with great anticipation and we're never disappointed. Just as good as ever.

Amazing food never tried Sri lankan food before great food superb service from Tash and Alex will definitely be going again would highly recommend this great restaurant

Very helpful staff with good knowledge of the food and menu. All dishes were enjoyed and it was particularly appreciated that I could request my choice to come very mild! Nice decor, good choice of food and drink, lovely staff and reasonable prices. What more can you ask for?

Always good flavours but the chicken was in small pieces so overcooked and on the dry side

Food and taste are amazing. The waitres is very kind and able to advice you in your choice. Chairs are not very comfortable, only thing I can complain about. 4,5 out of 5

Really good selection of food, great variation of spiciness, service was fantastic. Only problem was maybe the climate control, it was either really hot or really cold! Could do with air con to regulate it a bit more. Other than that, fab. Would definitely visit again.

We visited 'on spec' for an early meal, before going to the local theatre. We had not tried Sri Lankan food before so this was a new experience for us. Our meal was superb, the best Biryani I've ever tasted. We will most certainly return.

Food was really good and authentic Sri Lankan flavours. Nice casual restaurant and very reasonably priced - we had a nice bottle of wine and came out totally stuffed for about £60.

Two friends and I went to Kandy before going to the Ballet at Cinemac, around the corner, and we all had a delicious meal ,good service by a very polite and informative young man . It was quiet as it was just as they opened and also the weather was terrible,so not many people dining . We would all definately return to try other items on the menu

The vegan buffet was lovely. I am not a vegan however there was lots of tasty things to try and it was so nice for my vegan friend to have lots of choice. I would eat here again.

I was recommended Kandy by a friend so thought that I must try it. The food was ok, I'm used to Indian, Thai, Chinese, Nepalese etc. but didn't find this much different. What really let them down was the service! We were pretty much ignored from start to finish, having to ask repeatedly to see a menu, order drinks and order food. It then took an age to arrive. A couple came in after us and left after 15 minutes having received the same treatment. Sorry but I won't be bothering to go back.

Service a little random but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Had stir fried beef which was good. Son’s first time there and he enjoyed it. Suggest they get into the habit of taking drinks order first

Lovely fresh cooked food, friendly helpful staff, all in a lovely environment. This was our first visit and it certainly wont be the last!! I dont know why we havent been here before!! Great place, great food great prices.

Food great, service mediocre and banal. Lacklustre staff with a limited experience of how to serve customers. Shame- somewhat affected the authenticity of the experience. Staff had no passion for the cuisine and were regimented in their approach- no real depth of experience apart from the owner staff. Try and excite your waiting-on staff in the ways of Sri Lankan cuisine.

Lovely meal, staff were very attentive, explaining the menu and making recommendations. On her recommendation, we had the Lamb Kothu, which I can highly recommend. Will definitely go again, nice change from Indian.
