Kayal - Leicester

The service was brilliant and the food superb! Everything was delicious and flavourful. We loved it!

Absolutely stunning food. Days later we are still dreaming of it! Cannot wait to go back - we travelled from out of town 2 hrs on the train for the meal, and it was well worth it!

So nice to have Indian food that isn’t the standard British Indian restaurant. We all said how the favours were amazing without being over-spiced. (Although I imagine they’d make something hotter if you asked). The staff were all really friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing with conversation but relaxed. Highly recommend it.

Our party was seated as soon as we arrived, the service was efficient and the food was very good. The atmosphere was spot on and everyone had a good time.

Another fantastic meal at the Kayal. I always try something different, and i'm never disappointed.

Lovely meal, I had the lamb and my wife has a lentil curry. Obviously not your more standard curry. So there was no Chicken Madras on the menu. More specialised South Indian, and it did not disappoint. The only reason to mark it down slightly was that we near the door and there was a big group of people all stood next to our table whiskey they were waiting to be seated. Perhaps that is a little unfair but they could perhaps work out how to manage that a bit better.

The entire visit from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The service was exceptional the food was by far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The taste, the presentation, the variety, the service, the restaurant, the staff, the overall atmosphere and ambience was absolutely outstanding. Beautiful.

Delicious food - lots of different dishes and breads to try. Great service - the staff were welcoming, attentive and professional. The decor, ambience and atmosphere is lovely. We went early on a Sunday evening, so there was no issue with waiting for food, or noise level. A lovely experience and we will definitely visit Kayal again.

Nearby parking and train station 5 mins away makes this a great place to visit in Leicester. The food and service are excellent, would highly recommend and will be visiting again.
