First visit but definitely won't be the last. Excellent service and the food was fantastic, very different to the usual Indian restaurants ( in a good way) well worth a visit.

Our overall experience was excellent as usual. My one comment would be that we were a table of 5 sat at what was a table for four and could have done with a little more room. My only complaint is about the booking process - I booked on line 10 days or so in advance and got no co0nfirmation of booking until the morning of the booking. As I was going away until the date of the booking, I called Kayal directly and made a booking over the phone. I got an email from Quandoo on the morning of the booking confirming. Poor communications.

Kayal were very accommodating to our expanded party of 12. Service was prompt and professional. We were well looked after and food was absolutely delicious.

Food was great but could have been a little hotter, food was just warm.

My sister's first visit. For me, just glad to try the crab curry again. (I note it is now described as a "messy" experience on the menu! Very much worth it though.

Great meal and great service in a lovely atmospheric restaurant. A lovely surprise and a very unusual menu. The food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you love authentic cooking.

We booked a table for a university reunion. We were quickly seated and service was generally good. The food on the other hand was special. Really different to the standard Indian restaurant and very tasty. We would definitely dine here again!

The food is always incredible and the service is wonderful- the staff really go above and beyond and are so lovely. I wanted to tip vis the card machine but was disappointed that this doesn’t go directly to staff, so I will bring cash next time, as it is them who deserves a tip for all their hard work.

Received a warm welcome on arrival and shown straight to our table. Service was timely and friendly; there was even a magician who was incredibly entertaining. The food was simply amazing; it was hot, tasty and had a wonderful fragrance.

The food here is fabulous and I can’t believe I’ve left it so long before going back. Particular highlights are the paper dosa, the fish curry and the appam. It’s all to die for!!

Lovely food, very friendly staff. Caters well for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegetarians. Try the seafood biryani - recommended.

The food was great - we had chicken biryani and the portions were massive so it was definitely worth the money. Also the servers were really nice and attentive.

Absolutely gorgeous food and a very varied menu. We were looked after very well; one of us doesn't like her food too spicy and the chef was able to accommodate her. The waiting staff were very attentive. We were all absolutely stuffed!
