Kayal - Leicester

Delicious food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. Fish curries are anazing.

Our party was seated as soon as we arrived, the service was efficient and the food was very good. The atmosphere was spot on and everyone had a good time.

We were in a rush and were served the most delicious meal really quickly. Excellent staff despite being quite busy.

Great food lovely and fresh and so different to the more westernised curry houses you find. Staff are great and happy to help with recommendations and portion sizes

Lovely meal, I had the lamb and my wife has a lentil curry. Obviously not your more standard curry. So there was no Chicken Madras on the menu. More specialised South Indian, and it did not disappoint. The only reason to mark it down slightly was that we near the door and there was a big group of people all stood next to our table whiskey they were waiting to be seated. Perhaps that is a little unfair but they could perhaps work out how to manage that a bit better.

The entire visit from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The service was exceptional the food was by far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The taste, the presentation, the variety, the service, the restaurant, the staff, the overall atmosphere and ambience was absolutely outstanding. Beautiful.

Delicious food - lots of different dishes and breads to try. Great service - the staff were welcoming, attentive and professional. The decor, ambience and atmosphere is lovely. We went early on a Sunday evening, so there was no issue with waiting for food, or noise level. A lovely experience and we will definitely visit Kayal again.

Nearby parking and train station 5 mins away makes this a great place to visit in Leicester. The food and service are excellent, would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

We'd taken friends from abroad to Kayal before on a previous visit and they really wanted to go again. We really enjoyed both the food and friendly staff and got them to take a few photos of us all too. We'd definitely recommend Kayal as an excellent restaurant with great food and friendly staff.

3rd time we have been to this restaurant, very advisable to book in advance, it's a large place but always seems busy, food was glorious such subtle flavours, all of our party enjoyed the evening, staff was kind and very helpful, i had the salmon something or other ( can't remember) good size portions
