Blown away by what a great experience I and my group have had, starting from the booking - where I had to contact by text to change numbers and ask questions which were answered quickly and very well, all the way through the excellent service, beautiful food, above and beyond with the staff so friendly, obliging and singing happy birthday for my partner, to being thanked and wished farewell as we left the restaurant. Amazing service for any restaurant visit but with 14 of us and a very very busy Sat evening it was exceptional, thank you!

The food and service were amazing as always, and we got 20% discount by showing them our Nottingham Arts Theatre tickets. Lovely meal.

I'd heard so many good reviews about this restaurant so when I booked a table I was very excited. We went on valentine's day - it was a lovely ambience and the smell of the spices made me think there's a really good meal waiting for me. I had one of their cardamom cocktails - it was lacking in flavour and missing either something sharp or spicy. The table shared some poppadoms which came with 3 chutneys/dips - one was nice (good spice), one I had no clue what it was (as they didn't explain), the third (I also had no clue what it was) wasn't nice at all - very very bitter. For my main I had a chicken stew which at the time I ordered it was told by the server 'this is for kids' because it doesn't have any spice? Even so, it lacked flavour. The butter rice I ordered was very nice. Overall, I won't be returning.

This was a very strange experience. Our curry was presented in a soup bowl. The bread was stuck together and was hard to separate. We had to ask for a plate to put our meal on. Overall very expensive for what we had.

Our second visit after finding this beautiful restaurant. The food is amazing, wholesome and authentic made with care which is so very rare in a country full of high street chains. So excited to try new items on the menu next time as we will definitely return! And amazing gluten and dairy free options too!

The starter was a mixed fish platter which wasn't presented in a good way. It was 90% squid which looked like it was just deep fried from frozen and dumped onto the plate and was rubbery. Wasn't enough other fish. The lamb curry was lovely and the rice was also lovely

The staff welcomed us and met us have our choice of table, the service was prompt, friendly and helpful. All the food was well presented and tasty and portions were ample. Overall a great experience

Went at 12pm on Saturday for my sons Birthday. Was fantastic. He loved it as did our guests. They were very accommodating with the little one.

LOVED the food and the waiter´s name-dropping! Great wine too (chilean sauvignon blanc). Possibly the best indian food ive ever had.

Starter and main were great, however, they did initially forget that we ordered starters. The Paratha bread was bland with no taste.

A great meal! The three of us had different dishes and were very impressed with all of them. Service was good and we were looked after without being pestered. A lovely evening.

We only had 45 minutes as the restaurant opened at 6 and we were going to the opera starting at 7, which was a big ask! The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and the food arrived very quickly. I always like eating here because the food is great and will come back again soon

Very very busy but attentive and most importantly, friendly staff. The food was tasty but my sea bass was a little tepid - I still ate it though and it was lovely. My only other slight criticism was that it was SO hot in there. We had a great evening and overall delicious food.

Great food & drink. The waiting staff really take time to explain some of the dishes and suggest what you might want to pair together and how much rice and bread to order, so you don't over do it. You can always get more.
