Kervan Kitchen - Ipswich

Overall restaurant really lovely, made to feel welcome. Had asked for chicken to be well done which it wasn’t. When asked about the meal explained I’d asked for well done chicken but wasn’t offered anything else.

Food was incredible and a great lunch offer. Will be visiting again

Arrived on time but was busy and had to que outside, may have been 15 minutes delayed after our arrival. However it was a busy Saturday night and nothing took too long. Service was good. Four of us ate four different mains and four different starters and enjoyed by all. Full meal plus 2 pints at that standard for circa £50 each isn’t a bad shout. Will return.

Plenty of menu choice and although not cheap, it was an absolutely delicious meal with great service and a great atmosphere. It's good to finally see a lovely Turkish restaurant in Ipswich. We will definately be dining here again in the not too distant future.

Ipswich has missing a restaurant like this. From the very start you are treated exceptionally, the staff were so friendly informative and polite. The food was superb and great size portions. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and good for everyone families to parties ❤️ oh visit the toilets so colourful and vibrant.

It was so busy yet the service and care was really good. Just little things make all the difference, like when I had some of my drink someone came over and topped up my glass from my bottle. Very impressed and looking forward to coming again. Thank you.

Food was very nice and big portions as well, had a cheeky monkey cocktail and it was very strong

Having booked an early table due to later plans, we got there 5 mins beforehand to a huge que in the foyer and utter chaos over those that had booked tables. After being directed to the bar area where there was no space to sit or wait (this hasn’t been factored into the layout or design which is a shame ) we waited a further 35 mins to be seated. The place is huge , too big in my opinion and it seems like they’d overbooked each time slot. If they reduced the number of tables and section off parts it would be less noisy and packed, some tables were elbow to elbow with diners on the next table! When we were seated the staff were great and attentive checking we had everything etc. we did have to rush through food due to later sitting and plans to get to which is a shame . Decor is beautiful, and could be such a great place if they sorted out the above as they have it all there !

It was very busy but the food was out quickly and very delicious. Staff were very friendly. Every where was spotless.

we were early for our table but that was not an issue the waitress was amazing the food choice was excellent we were given time between course when the food arrived it was piping hot and full of flavour utterly amazing

Arrived at 7.50pm for my 8.00pm booking. Didn't get to the receptionist desk until 8.10pm as there being 30+ people in the queue infront of me. Around 8.35pm we were told to stand at the bar, no one taking drink orders and we were constantly being asked to move and squeezed past by waiters getting drinks from the bar for tables. Got seated around 8.40pm but didn't have any menus which we had to ask for. The food was hot and really good taste. Let down by the service.

What a wonderful first time visit to Kervan Kitchen Ipswich this evening! We had the best waiter who was so so caring and made us feel like royalty - not overbearing one bit, just felt super enjoyable the whole night. Great atmosphere and love to see it so busy on a Thursday night (10/10/24). Will definitely be visiting again - the food was delicious and value for money. Great work!

This was our 2nd visit and amazing both times. Staff very pleasant and can't do enough and food was first class. Well done and keep up the good work. Won't be too long before our next visit.

It was the 1st time we had been here and it won't be the last! The food was amazing, the restaurant itself looks beautiful, every single member of staff was brilliant from the lady who greeted us and showed us to our table to the man walked us out at the end. Helpful, cheerful, fun. I only have positive comments for the entire evening. Will try the lunchtime set menu next I think! Xx

Dining at Kervan was absolutely amazing, it was a birthday treat. We were stunned by opulant surroundings. Very attentive waiters, especially Dilia, she was very welcoming and warm🙏 Food was just like eating in the top restaurant in Istanbul, so lucky to have this place in Ipswich. Totally recommend it, a special experience me and my friends will never forget. Hopefully we'll be back soon 🤞

Very busy, squashed in between two other tables, it was like we was eating with another table. Extremely loud because of this, couldn't conversate with person I was out for dinner with.

Newly opened restaurant in a commercial part of Ipswich. Large and lively with enough waiters to keep the food and drink flowing. Could do with a few more drinks on the menu, quite limited on the beer front. Food arrived quickly, wasn’t piping hot, not sure if that meant it had been sat a while or not heated through well enough. Found the music loud, difficult to hear other people on a large table. But the music did add to the atmosphere. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Asked the servers 3 times for the bill and was ignored until I walked up to one of the servers

There was a bit of a wait outside in the cold and then to be seated. But once in and seated the waiter was repeatedly apologetic and was attentive from there on in. Food was lovely.
