This was our second visit to kervan kitchen this year and both times have been exceptional. This is easily one of if not the best place in Ipswich to eat out. The food is always fresh, well presented and full of flavour. The waiting staff are attentive and observant. Thoroughly enjoyable eating experience

Good food with large ample portions. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful.

Very nice restaurant aesthetically. It was very busy on a Saturday night but the service was still swift and the food didn't take long. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were super friendly. We had a party of 12 and accidentally missed one person's order off but the gentleman noticed we only had 11 mains and came back over to check which was great service. The atmosphere was nice with plenty of Happy Birthdays being sung with staff playing a song and making a fuss if you want it, I imagine they do that a lot! If I went again I would request to be seated elsewhere as we were on a big table right by the bar and kitchen which is obviously very busy and noisy and we were having to shout to speak to one another. The toilets were a little messy with toilet paper on the floors etc but i do understand that is guests leaving the toilets that way however they maybe need tending to more often.. That is my only criticism. It was overall a lovely evening for a 16th birthday family meal

Great food and atmosphere. Only negative was we were left a bit too long afternoon main course. We had to ask to see the dessert menu and also had to ask for another drink. I asked for a small glass but was given a large glass of wine and the waiter promptly left so I didn't get a chamce to correct him. We also had to ask for the bill. The service before then was great and good atmosphere. Nice to have a live singer although slightly too loud at times

Overall the service was very slow and several mistakes were made with drinks orders. On the evening of our visit, a female singer was in a attendance and the volume was way too high resulting in conversation being very difficult as all other diners had to increase their voices also. Was disappointed that a hefty service charge was included on our bill considering the already high price of food. All four of our party commented that the food arrived not particularly warm!
