Lovely, friendly staff and delicious food. This is the second time we’ve visited Kitcho and we will continue to do so, a great local gem.
Excellent food. Would definitely go back and the staff were incredibly friendly. Tried foie gras for the first time and it was delicious. Only minus was the attentiveness as they were busy not only with inhouse orders but with takeaway orders, so we were left for a while before we could get the attention of someone for our bill
Fantastic food, especially the sushi and wasabi tempura prawns.I love this restaurant and I want to come back very soon. Would recommend very, very highly.
Reliably delicious and friendly. Especially, in hot weather, nice and cool. We have been before and will continue to go for the variety, selection, quality.
Overall cleanliness made us worry. Had to ask for a clean plate. Menus stained. Toilets disgusting. Staff friendly. Food was good but we wouldn’t go back. Restaurant was a bit shabby, not what we would expect from a Japanese restaurant.
Excellent as usual! My favourite restaurant in London. Relaxed, good service and quality food. It's not just sushi, plenty of their other dishes are also great :)
This is a nearby restaurant to us so we decided to have dinner together on Fri evening. Food was ok but service was a bit slow. We had the gyoza ramen & sushi maki.
authentic Japanese food with excellent service at an affordable price. This is our go-to local place for our Japanese fix. Try the black cod, both sushi and sashimi platters, and if you're up for it, great Japanese whiskey as well
As always excellent food, service was friendly, attentive and efficient. A great experience from warm welcome to fond farewell and invitation to return soon which is a given.
Food was great and a range of veg options. The service was good and prompt. The waitress was very friendly and helpful who served us.
Good food and really friendly service. We took our kid there all the time and they always make sure he’s looked after. Can’t wait to go back next time.
Lovely service, excellent food. It was a little pricey but we'll be back. We would definitely recommend the restaurant to friends. Good for lunch or dinner.
Absolutely wonderful food. Excellent service. The teriyaki steak was especially good. We liked the peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely come again. This was a birthday meal and everything went so well
Exceptional food beautifully presented. The ebi tempura was light and the kitcho sashimi melted in your mouth. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience there. Great value for money.
Great place to try out a wide range of interesting Japanese dishes. Friendly and helpful staff who will guide your menu choices- food and drink. Try the sea urchin for something different.
Good sushi, wasabi prawns and pork gyoza but not cheap. High prices, cold room, messy loos. Main courses were bland and boring. Waiting staff are very nice but needed to be more attentive and pro-active.
The sushi was good, however the portions of cooked food were quite small for the price. Overall really nice place in greenwich, my favourite one so far. Would recommend it.
Great time, really good food. With an extensive menu it might be a little hard to gauge just how much to order, but the wait staff were very helpful in this and every other regard.
It is always pleasure to visit Kitcho. Delicious food, nice staff, very friendly owners. I lived in Japan and can compare and can definetly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food, good value and charming service. Highly recommend the cohiba sashimi salad and anything with the truffle ponzu sauce. To finish the black sesame ice cream is amazing.
Excellent, authentic Japanese food. The sushi is particularly tasty. The owner and staff are wonderful. We went for my son's birthday, and they prepared a special desert for him.
Great customer service. Nice atmosphere. Wasabi prawn and donburi were yummy but the charsiu ramen was mediocre. The wait time was not too long .
Food was not good. Sushi is bland and small platters for the money definitely too expensive. The noodle soups had no flavour it just tasted like boiled water. The fried noodles also had no flavour. The service was slow with only 3 people serving on a busy occasion. I left the restaurant hungry. Will never be coming back again.
Good and tasty food (especially the prawn tempura) but the service was a bit slow. We had to ask for the bill for four times.
The service really drags this place down. Basic stuff- like waiting 30 for our drinks and waiters who do not speak English. Despite of an empty restaurant, we were seated next to the open kitchen counter and had to listen to constant shouting when orders went wrong. The food was not bad, except that the mochi which we got for dessert- frozen hard. What a shambles.
Excellent food, and very good value. We especially enjoyed the appetisers and the sashimi, which was superb quality. Service friendly and helpful. We drank wine rather than sake and found the list very appropriate for the food - and again good value.
Food was excellent, my rainbow Maki was one of the best I have ever eaten. We have never been to Japan but love eating Japanese and we thought The menu was very authentic and with lots of choice. Also reasonable price wise.
Absolutely brilliant. Food well presented and delicious. Reasonably priced (check your bill) when they get it correct. Very warm atmosphere and such lovely staff. Highly recommend.
Fantastic night at Kitcho. Thanks. Given it was 14th Feb, the service was still best in class. Food was great as usual. Thanks very much.
Been about 5 times, food and service always good. Wasabi prawns and yakitori first class, had the spicy beef with rice which was excellent. Sparkling sake is surprisingly good and the mark up on the retail price is insignificant.
The food was incredible especially the sashimi and soft shell crab. The service was very good and we never felt rushed. Will definitely be back very soon
overly priced. no service at all. have to wait for 30min for very first dish. people seems busy with take aways will not go there again
The food is amazing. The wine list is ok but hardly anything in stock. Good ambience and a very authentic touch. Well worth a visit.
Amazing sushi and Japanese dishes. I'm Japanese and I think Kitcho is the only restaurant you can eat fresh and tasty Japanese around Greenwich area.
Lovely Japanese food. Sashimi was divine and gorgeous wasabi prawns. Staff very helpful and attentive. Will eat here again if we are in the area.
Quaint Japanese restaurant we came across while looking for something affordable to eat. Food was fantastic! It was all fresh, the sashimi and eggplant was our favourite. Ideal place to hang out or have a romantic meal.
This is my 2nd time dining here. Both times the sushi has been fantastic, the hot food mediocre. Service was good. Staff were very friendly and very informative about the dishes. There were 4 of us dining and the bill was £35 per head with alcohol for several starters, sushi, (we had the dragon maki and tornado which were 2 of the most expensive on menu) sashimi and a couple of hot dishes so was pretty good value.
Good food but service let down the whole experience. Service was extremely slow, even though waiters were reassuring they would come back to take our (second) order. After 30 mins still no waiter to come take our order so we left. No apology either. Such a shame because the food is good - perhaps needs retraining on customer service.
Excellent as always! Make sure to try the Wasabi prawns, I could eat just those!
The food was very delicious and the customer service was friendly. The prices are a bit too steep. I would recommend trying this place though.
