Good food and really friendly service. We took our kid there all the time and they always make sure he’s looked after. Can’t wait to go back next time.

Lovely service, excellent food. It was a little pricey but we'll be back. We would definitely recommend the restaurant to friends. Good for lunch or dinner.

Absolutely wonderful food. Excellent service. The teriyaki steak was especially good. We liked the peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely come again. This was a birthday meal and everything went so well

Exceptional food beautifully presented. The ebi tempura was light and the kitcho sashimi melted in your mouth. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience there. Great value for money.

Great place to try out a wide range of interesting Japanese dishes. Friendly and helpful staff who will guide your menu choices- food and drink. Try the sea urchin for something different.

Good sushi, wasabi prawns and pork gyoza but not cheap. High prices, cold room, messy loos. Main courses were bland and boring. Waiting staff are very nice but needed to be more attentive and pro-active.

The sushi was good, however the portions of cooked food were quite small for the price. Overall really nice place in greenwich, my favourite one so far. Would recommend it.

Great time, really good food. With an extensive menu it might be a little hard to gauge just how much to order, but the wait staff were very helpful in this and every other regard.

Excellent food, good value and charming service. Highly recommend the cohiba sashimi salad and anything with the truffle ponzu sauce. To finish the black sesame ice cream is amazing.

Excellent, authentic Japanese food. The sushi is particularly tasty. The owner and staff are wonderful. We went for my son's birthday, and they prepared a special desert for him.

Great customer service. Nice atmosphere. Wasabi prawn and donburi were yummy but the charsiu ramen was mediocre. The wait time was not too long .

Food was not good. Sushi is bland and small platters for the money definitely too expensive. The noodle soups had no flavour it just tasted like boiled water. The fried noodles also had no flavour. The service was slow with only 3 people serving on a busy occasion. I left the restaurant hungry. Will never be coming back again.

Good and tasty food (especially the prawn tempura) but the service was a bit slow. We had to ask for the bill for four times.

The service really drags this place down. Basic stuff- like waiting 30 for our drinks and waiters who do not speak English. Despite of an empty restaurant, we were seated next to the open kitchen counter and had to listen to constant shouting when orders went wrong. The food was not bad, except that the mochi which we got for dessert- frozen hard. What a shambles.

Excellent food, and very good value. We especially enjoyed the appetisers and the sashimi, which was superb quality. Service friendly and helpful. We drank wine rather than sake and found the list very appropriate for the food - and again good value.

Food was excellent, my rainbow Maki was one of the best I have ever eaten. We have never been to Japan but love eating Japanese and we thought The menu was very authentic and with lots of choice. Also reasonable price wise.

Been about 5 times, food and service always good. Wasabi prawns and yakitori first class, had the spicy beef with rice which was excellent. Sparkling sake is surprisingly good and the mark up on the retail price is insignificant.

Quaint Japanese restaurant we came across while looking for something affordable to eat. Food was fantastic! It was all fresh, the sashimi and eggplant was our favourite. Ideal place to hang out or have a romantic meal.

This is my 2nd time dining here. Both times the sushi has been fantastic, the hot food mediocre. Service was good. Staff were very friendly and very informative about the dishes. There were 4 of us dining and the bill was £35 per head with alcohol for several starters, sushi, (we had the dragon maki and tornado which were 2 of the most expensive on menu) sashimi and a couple of hot dishes so was pretty good value.

Good food but service let down the whole experience. Service was extremely slow, even though waiters were reassuring they would come back to take our (second) order. After 30 mins still no waiter to come take our order so we left. No apology either. Such a shame because the food is good - perhaps needs retraining on customer service.

Whilst the food was nice, the service was awful. We had to keep asking and chasing for things, tell them again and again what order was and wasn't ours, chasing for things like tap water. Not enjoyable. We won't be going back which is a shame as the food is pretty good.

I've been twice now to Kitcho and I love the food but it is too expensive so I can't go as often as I would like. It's just up the road from Greenwich Picturehouse and the only good restaurant in Greenwich, which is full of tourist traps serving poor quality food. The Kitcho menu has lovely starters - e.g. wasabi prawns - delicious perfectly cooked prawns in light batter with wasabi mayo. Mains are also lovely, hot and filling. But the stars of the show are the fabulous sushi and sashimi, prepared by Japanese sushi chefs. Really very good. It has a nice atmosphere but they need to do up the loos to match the high price tag.

Nice hidden gem located within walking distance of Deptford and Greenwich train station. Food was good fare. The highlight being the Stir fried beef in spicy sauce which was literally melt in the mouth soft. The Sparkling Sake goes down very well although I suspect it contains ALOT of sugar. The service was a tad slow but the staff were friendly and the bill was very competitive for japanese cuisine. I'd go back.

Food was excellent and the service too. It is obviously very popular as a takeaway service too judging by the number of collections that took place during our meal.

This a very good restaurant but slightly slow at busy times we have eaten here several times and spend around £200 inc wine and service for 4 best dishes are Ajiban sashimi dragon maki & crab tempura . The wine substitute was French Sauvignon blanc @£25 which went well with the meal. Will return.

The kitchen was on the second floor, so staff were running up and down the stairs to serve food. Yet, the service was slow service and the staff were inattentive. Food was ok and reasonably priced. The sushi wasn't made with Japanese rice.
