Cold inside temperature 18C eventually got to 18.5C. Red wine was cold had to be warmed up in the kitchen plastic tablecloths didn't go down well However the food was very good and the service was reasonable considering that there was less than 12 people.in the restaurant .

Not easy to find, but worth the effort. Very good Italian food, and very friendly waitress and owner. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Lovely family-run restaurant tucked away in Cheadle Hulme precinct. Service was excellent, food was lovely, and portions very generous. A great restaurant for families and very reasonably priced.

Our food was individually cooked to order & very tasty, including home-made desserts. Decor is a bit tired/tatty. Parking easy as can use shopping precinct car park free which is very close.

i was disappointed that the advertised Offer of 2 courses + wine was only available until 7pm when nothing of this restriction is shown on the website. This perhaps prejudiced me slightly in my appreciation of the food. In truth, however, I felt the food no more than average and the wine, although reasonably priced, pretty average too. Perhaps we visited on an off night (it was empty except for us) and I wouldn't want to put anyone off from giving it a try. We, however, won't be returning. Sorry!

Traditional family restaurant, felt like you were in someone’s home, however not much atmosphere. Food was ok, quite basic, but more attention to detail required eg. Delicious seafood in the risotto but made with normal rice???? Dessert choice limited and very small portions 😬

Great place to eat. Food always good and staff attentive. The food is always nicely presented and is priced well. Its a real gem of a place. This is one of my favourite Italian restaurants and have been regularly.

We had a lovely evening but the restaurant was on the cold side and 3 out of 4 of us were disappointed with our meal.

Wonderful food and enjoyable experience. I felt ther service could have been slightly better. Sometimes, we’d struggle to catch a waitress to order more drinks and dessert but I’d definitely go back there again!

Nice setting, we've been coming to this restaurant for 30 years albeit this is a new team. Great food and a lovely service - the Italians do it so much better don't they? We'll be back, what a huge choice, the ribs are great and the steaks are fantastic too.

Basic Italian, I really enjoyed my food but my husband said his wasn't seasoned and little bland. Both let down by our desserts too. However staff are friendly and attentive.

Authentic Italian with friendly, efficient staff and a chef/owner that certainly knows how to cook. If you are looking for a 'plastic' chain Italian, give this one a miss. However, if you want to revisit that little italian restaurant, filled with locals that you found on some Naples backstreet - go to La Casetta!

A lovely welcome and cosy alcove table. Good wines. Good starters. We had 3 fillet steaks for our mains which were £20 each and unfortunately they were quite tough. Maybe slightly smaller helpings, but top quality beef would be better.

We went for a Thursday Lunch there were only a few diners, we opted for the lunchtime special (Starter & Main) for £7.80 pp although the selection is limited, It was good value for money ! very enjoyable and the staff were both friendly and attentive.We have dined in the evening on a few occasions and will continue too.Would recommend it is given a try...

Food and staff both good. Slightly seedy area on a Sunday evening when shops around it are closed. Be aware that the offers on their website are not strictly true...the 3 course meal advertised for Sunday (£9.95 for three courses)actually stops at 6p.m. (no times mentioned on website). It also occurred to me after we left that, though we booked online and should have received a discount of 20%, no discount was applied to the bill.

Had the 19.95 deal and got a starter and main each and bottle of wine which was great value. Service es very friendly. Would return

We are always made to feel so welcome when we go to La Casetta. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing (and is fantastic value for money). It is our favourite place to eat out.

Went midweek. Website states offers but they are non existent. Calamari starter was rubbery but to be honest very few restraunts get this right. Starter of meatball described as coming with bread but was toast which makes me think past its best. Lasagne main course was very good though.

You get a warm welcome and good well cooked food. I have been several times and never been disappointed. The service is excellent. Molto bene!

I live within easy walking distance of La Casetta and although there are plenty of other places to eat out in the vicinity, my friends and I almost always got to La Casetta. Relaxing atmosphere, good food, and friendly, efficient staff.

This is a restaurant with authentic Italian food not English-style Italian food. The chef uses some of his grandmothers' recipes so they are authentic. The fillet steaks are my favourite. The portions are big and I never get to the dessert course! Families are welcome to eat here and the staff are helpful and efficient.

Amazing service and amazing food :) We love La Casetta, it is my daughter's favorite place to go for a treat. Everyone there treats you so well when you go in, and the food is delicious Xx

Food was ok, staff still don't know how to measure spirits properly, but they ran out after one drink so didn't matter, but then the beer was warm. Cheap, but won't be going back.

My wife and I had an excellent time the food was well cooked and very tasty, the service was very good and staff attentive. We will be going there again and would recommend it to all who read this review.

Authentic little gem. Food and service top notch! Six of us had a mix of different dishes and all were lovely, came out freshly cooked and piping hot.

Excellent as always. Introduced a friend to La Casetta this evening who was very impressed with the food, service and interaction of the staff. Slowly working my way through the menu but will take many more visits. Menu is vast and everything tried so far has been spectacular

My only disappointment with this restaurant is that despite living around the corner for 10 years I hadn't visited it sooner. Lovely service, fantastic food, good sized portions (I couldn't finish my steak!!). Just looking for another excuse to visit

We had an amazing night celebrating my little girl's birthday, she always chooses La Casetta for her celebrations as it is our favourite place. We added another guest to the party abut an hour before arriving and everything was sorted by the time we got there. The staff we fantastic as always, and the food was sooooo good!
