great food ,service excellent from friendly helpful staff good location would recommend this restaurant to any one we have visited la lupa many times over years and have always thought it best in poole
It was a busy night in the restaurant with a very large party. Sadly this affected service, quality of food and pace that the food was served. At times we felt very rushed with starter and mains coming out too quickly to then being left for nearly an hour without drinks or an oppprtunity to ask for dessert menu. The food was ok but not on a par with a previous visit on a quieter night, will not be visiting again for a while.
This is a real Italian Restaurant unlike the plastic ones on every High Street. Excellent staff, good beer and wine, super food and we finished off with a superb zabaglione which you only ever find in a proper Italian Restaurant.
Food was very good as usual. Service excellent. Lovely family run restaurant.
