Loved this place! So friendly and nothing is too much trouble, even in a blizzard!! Can highly recommend but would book, it was busy despite the snow. If you haven’t been, go!

We had great food and the staff are always super friendly. It's really nice and cosy as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This was my first visit to La Mama, I visited with friends and we had a lovely meal, it was a great atmosphere! I will definitely be coming back.

The food and ambience were fabulous. The only slight disappointment was that the Cuban band didn't turn up. Nonetheless we still had a lovely evening and will definitely return.

Food was good, service okay. But service should have been excellent, as was not busy (2-3 tables). Disappointing experience. It was my treat for date night so I felt a little embarassed querying the bill. All items were correct, but the bill seemed wrong. Too high, by about 20%. When we got the waiters attention about this we queried, and when we pointed out that the total didnt add up he agreed and went to telephone someone about it. Took at least 15-20 minutes whilst we sat there feeling uncomfortable. It was then corrected. No explanation of why or what went wrong. We wondered if this was a systemic issue, given it was a computerised till system and the input items were correct. Would only go back with patience, a calculator, and some reassurance about till systems...

I always have a fantastic time eating here. It's like being able to visit Spain without leaving Sheffield. Fresh and tasty tapas just a stones throw away from my house. Friendly staff and always helpful if you're struggling​ on what to order.

I've been recommending this restaurant to everyone I know! The food was amazing, there were lots of nice vegan options to try. And the staff were so friendly, they saved our table even though we were a little late, they noticed I was cold and put the heating on for me. And the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely.

Lovely authentic place with excellant food and great wine. Staff could not have been more helpful. It gets very busy so best to book first. We will definately visit again.

Food good, nice atmosphere. Table a little small and chairs uncomfortable. Parking easy and restaurant easy to find. Second visit and would go again. Recommended.

Best ceviche in town! Lively atmosphere and excellent staff. Also, fabulous cocktails - love the Latin twist! Restaurant was very flexible when we brought additional guests even though they were very busy. Very impressive restaurant.

Great evening with three friends - we ate dishes from the £13.95 menu, the food was freshly prepared and delicious. The waiter was polite and very helpful and the whole evening was a resounding success. A wonderful venue, we've eaten there several times before and will definitely be eating there again!

The owner is a delight, the place is small warm and inviting and the food is lovely. I love going to this restaurant and definitely recommend it.

A great variety of tapas. Some well known and some new ideas. Staff are really friendly and help to make the meal a special experience.

The food was lovely. Staff were really nice and attentive. Atmosphere was good. My only criticism is I would have liked slightly bigger portions. It's not going to put me off returning though.

Great food! Really tasty selection of dishes - we found it difficult to choose our favourite! Lots of lovely veggie options too like the spinach and sweet potato croquettes. The salsa Pebre is delicious!

Great place for our party as a large number of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options,speedy and very pleasant service and good value for money.

Very good tapas restaurant that has a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. One item we received was not what was ordered however; this was quickly changed when we informed our server. Never been disappointed when we’ve visited the restaurant and will definitely be returning.

We loved this restaurant. The food was lovely, service friendly, the music (Sally and Paul with Latin and gentle jazz numbers) ideal for the venue.

Excellent meal and atmosphere made even better with the singer performing, Sally Doherty, a really good night all round. Well worth a visit at any time.

Nice food, good variety. House red was very drinkable (the Malbec is nicer). Was quiet for a Saturday night but we went in August. Would go again.

Great food and atmosphere again. This was the 4th visit over a number of years, and made me wish I'd come again sooner. There were various dietary requirements in our group, all of which were catered for.

The food was delicious, however they got one of our dishes wrong and we had to wait until we'd finished the rest of our food before they brought out the correct dish. Service wasn't great, the team didn't seem very organised.

I have been to La Mama a few times, and every time I always experience wonderful service and incredible food. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Sheffield!

Food was lovely and reasonably priced. We were served fast and the staff were lovely. It was boiling hot in the restaurant as it was the hottest day of the year, we asked to be moved to a cooler seat and it was no problem.
