Restaurant was clean. Food was hot. Pizzas looked a good choice. Pasta and risotto dishes bland. Desserts OK. Gelato was not served, it was cheaper, non-dairy ice cream in my opinion. Coffee poor for an 'Italian' establishment, we only ordered 1 cup to try and were pleased that we hadn't ordered coffee for everyone. Food was acceptable for the price paid. House red wasn't great.

Pizza wasn't nice, very dry and crunchy. Poor service and bad smell of vinegar all around. Tables were very close to each others and it seems like you're eating with strangers. I won't go again and I wouldn't recommend it.

My second visit to La Regina this month and it was as good as ever. It's so convenient for anyone travelling from Kings Cross and St Pancras and I thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent flavoursome food cooked to order so you do have to wait - which for us was a good thing. Friendly and attentive staff, so would definitely go back. Great value for money

Nice clean cosy restaurant. The food was good and what I would expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. While it was mid-week there was a steady flow of guests. I will definitely go back.

Enjoyed our meal very much. The bruschetta starter was less than my husband hoped for but very tasty. I had the La Regina penne and that I would highly recommend. Very, very good. My husband had the pollo fungi and loved it. Hope to return on our next visit to London. The staff were very kind, friendly and attentive.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food which is very reasonably priced;. a welcome change from the chain restaurants in the area. Good location being opposite King's Cross Station.

The food was okay but nothing overly special - the tiramisu was great though! And the staff were lovely

Excellent friendly and efficient service . Staff went out of their way to welcome us even though we were early for our booking. Service was efficient without hurrying us.

An excellent restaurant with a very comprehensive menu and food that tastes amazing. It is very reasonably priced for a central London location and has the positive buzz of a good Italian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend booking as this is clearly a very popular place to eat.

A group of us had dinner, drinks and a lot of fun last night. The restaurant was full but there was no pressure for us to order. The lady that took our order was very professional and had good sense of humour. The sea bass and salmon salad were very good. the breads and desserts were nice. The risotto could be improved according to my friend. Great Irish coffees!

We have been to La Regina several times over the last few years for our family gatherings. It is a convenient location opposite Kings Cross, the food is consistently good and the menu provides a wide range of choices to suit all tastes. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

Food was fair, I've had better caprese salads but the la regina pasta was good. Could do with some background music as it was very quiet until other people joined at other tables.

Food was good but overall the experience wasn’t great. The waiter we had was rude and kept getting an attitude. We left before dessert and went to another restaurant.

The food is always fantastic here, and the staff are lovely. And it’s very conveniently located across the road from Kings Cross. Best tiramisu ever!

i went back to La Regina a second time and was slightly disappointed. On arrival, one of the staff broke a glass and the food arrived much too quickly. Thought the portions were small and pricey.

Brasserie -restaurant sans chichi, agréablement surpris par la qualité de la nourriture et du service. Décors pas typé du tout de la cuisine italienne. A recommandé pour un repas rapide et pas cher.

Food was over cooked, dry and tasteless. Wait staff very unhelpful. We couldn’t have been more disappointed. The manager took 20% off to appease us. Would never return.

It was fantastic. Our table wasn’t quite ready but that wasn’t a problem the way the servers dealt with the situation and the way thy made sure we were happy was fantastic. The food was incredible. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the starters were amazing. Thank you for making our stay in London 5*

Well situated for two major stations. A nice welcoming staff and a very clean and presentable little restaurant. The menu is varied and is keenly priced. We would recommend La Regina. Ciao.

Convenient being a short walk from King’s Cross railway station... spotlessly clean... warm... friendly welcoming staff... quality wine at reasonable (for London) prices... proper Italian pizza (no added sugar like at other chains)... rustic, if slightly undercooked compared with authentic Italian pizza, but this may be because most people prefer a softish base - next time I will ask for a crispier, well done pizza... ample side order of grilled veg... popular with diners as busy by 6pm on a Sunday... selection of oils, parmesan, pepper and salt mills - all clean and presented to the table without asking... quality “Lavazza” coffee for those who appreciate the artisan -style of coffee rather than the milky cheap coffee alternative in paper beakers at chains... for one person, a glass of Italian red wine, a pizza, a side order of veg, and a coffee, all for UNDER £20! Recommended without hesitation, and will return in April... “Thank you” :)

Our first visit. The staff were most helpful and polite. We had spaghetti bolognaise and meat balls with spaghetti. Both dishes were very tasty and generous - the spaghetti cooked perfectly, al dente. The prices are very reasonable and their house red wine very drinkable. Location ideal as so close to Kings Cross Station and Scala (music venue) where we headed to later.
