La Regina

Had a very pleasant lunch at La Regina. I had the two course special lunch with a drink for just over £14 which was very good value. I had the seafood risotto which had lots of prawns, mussels and calimari in it. My companion had a pizza which was also excellent. Although the website it was advisable to book at lunch time when we arrived at 1.15 p.m. we were the only diners though several other people turned up later. A very useful place to eat near the major stations.

We went for an evening meal but the food seemed pre-cooked and then warmed up, unfortunately it was overcooked and very hard around the edges. We were only asked once if we wanted a drink. We have been here for breakfast a few times when we were last in London 6 months ago and it was nice but can't see us going back again.

Good service, great food and generous portions! The restaurant was very quiet for lunch on Saturday - only us and one other diner in there!

Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Good choice on menu and well priced. The tomato sauce on the starter was a little bland for my taste but essentially good value. Main course was delicious. Would go again.

Very nice atmosphere considering the busy road outside. Prices are reasonable and the menu selection is quite varied. Location is very convenient, with kings cross station just a stone's throw away.

Nice Italian Restaurant, good service, lovely food, great location and you can hear your guests conversation. This restaurant has at least two dining rooms one on the ground floor and a huge one in the basement where the clean, nicely decorated toilets are located.

Very good value for money, very pleasant staff ; only complaint the plates and food could have been hotter but otherwise really enjoyed the food

Absolutely excellent. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The food was out of this world. A great selection on the menu and what I tasted was divine. Highly recommended and I hope to visit again.

I went with my parents and my boyfriend. The food was nice but I was served the wrong dish, not what I ordered. I got the right one in the end but they put both dishes on the bill (both the one I ordered and the one I was wrongly served). They took it off but when we mentioned that we weren’t very happy about it the waitress just said “it wasn’t my fault”. No apology or anything. Would have expected at least that and even a free dessert. Needless to say they didn’t get any tip and I won’t be going there again.

Very tasty food, excellent friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere (plus very reasonable prices). My go to restaurant whenever I've got a train to catch. Never been disappointed. Pizzas are particularly good.

Waited 1 hour for food to arrive, asked where iy was after 40 mins and was dismissed rather rudely by waitress saying that they were making sure the people downstairs got their food before people upstairs were served. 3 tables who arrived a long time after us were served before us. Fortunately, food was nice, but no discount was offered for the long wait.

Lovely dinner - perfectly timed for our train without being rushed and they were kind enough to make up a delicious pasta on my request, thank you!

Great location - just opposite Kings cross station on Euston road, and very well priced. The food was is great portions and friendly staff. Recommended for a quick lunch

Food was wonderful. So was the service and atmosphere. I went there with 2 friends so had lots of catching up. Waitresses didn’t rush us or anything. We all loved it. Will definitely go there again.

Good food but the waiter really struggled to understand our instructions.... we had to get his manager over on several occasions to clarify -very simple- matters. Good service at first then it dipped at the end (though the restaurant was half empty) and I had to wave over to be able to order tea & coffee (though we had finished eating about 40 mins prior). I'll be back because it's good value for money and the food itself is good... but that's about it ;)

Really poor service:( waited ages for our order to be taken, we finished eating and plates were left on our table for half an hour, no one asked if we woukd like another drink, 40 mins later had to call waitress to ask for desert menu. One waitress possibly the one in charge kept rolling her eyes at people as if they were bothering her when they asked her something she had no customer service skills at all. We asked to split then bill and waitress could not even calculate it, we had to do it for her. Table next to us waited 20 mins to get the waitress attention to ask for the bill they finally asked, still they waited a further 15 minutes in the end they had to go to the counter to get it themselves! Food was not fantastic but wasn't bad either just ok. A bit more customer service and more staff needed.

Good location for a quick lunch before jumping on a train, the food was adequate with a good selection of Italian food, well priced. The service was quick and efficient.

The food was excellent, very quick out to the table and the service was second to none. Definitely worth a visit or two. Good price as well.

Great starter and my date's pizza was delicious. However my pasta dish was very dry and looked and tasted as if it had been left under a heater for too long. The staff were quick to take this item off the bill which I appreciated. I would eat here again as it is reasonably priced for the location, and hopefully my disappointing dish was an unfortunate one-off.

Friendly service, great food. Have walked past this place many times and never thought to go in - it's surprisingly a really nice place though. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Only complaint is that it was really uncomfortable because the bases of the tables are so large that there's nowhere to put your feet!

we had excellent service and food and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We are very much looking forward to coming back in the not too distant future.

Was a lovely meal and the staff were very accommodating in making sure we made our train and very attentive. It was very clean. Will hopefully go again. Definitely recommend.

Went there for a pre-concert meal. Exactly what we expected. Perfectly good food, pleasant efficient service. Good price. Would go again if in the area.

Nice food, friendly staff. Nice quiet little Italian. Only thing was they forgot to put our discount through first time so we had to ask again. Spent valentines day there 2 years in a row now. Never had an issue.

Perfect place to eat if you are meeting friends for lunch from opposite directions as close to Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Food good. Relaxed atmosphere anot made to feel rushed.

Very poor service. Good was okay. Though was told to move table, given someone else's Bill half way through meal which they refused to take back for a while. Slow. Generally quite ubrupt.

food ok, but they tried to overcharge with wrong items and prices on the bill. no soap in toilets and was not replaced even after complaint

Not Italian restaurant..Just Italian menu cooked by English... Quandoo reservation didn't work at all !! I received the confirmation email and the restaurant didn't know about my reservation . Something went wrong !?! Waitress rude and small pasta plates (even for the woman I am.. ) If you don't order a dessert, you'll be pushed out to make place for the next customers...All about business first 😉

Lovely food. Great service. We arrived slightly late but that wasn't a problem. We are regular business visitors to Kings Cross and will visit again.

Generally a lovely experience with friendly and helpful staff. Personally my carbonara was not a 'proper italian' carbonara - very creamy and oily. But I would still come back.

Good food combined with excellent service gave an overall good value for money experience. Would gladly visit again. Atmosphere was also good in a busy part of the City.

Great service and lovely food. Definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area. I went with three visiting friends and we all went for pizza which was delicious. The prices are also very reasonable for London!
