Great spanish restaurant in Edinburgh. Had patron pepper and it was yummy! Seafood paella 🥘 was delicious as well. Will go back again if I have time.

Lasal is just fabulous. It's not just their incredible food that makes me go there so often, it's also the people running it. They are all friendly and welcoming! If you live in Edinburgh you must try this place out!!!!!

Lovely welcome and the food was amazing well cooked and well presented. We will be back to try the paella. Great bottle of Riocca went down well too.

La Sal is an informal Spanish restaurant serving great food and a good selection of wines & beers. They have a large selection of tapas dishes to choose from, and we were delighted that all our choices tasted great, and the staff were very friendly & obliging. All 4 of us enjoyed a very good meal and would highly recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed to this charming small restaurant. Was able to park nearby. We chose a selection of Interesting and tasty tapas. Window tables especially recommended. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Lovely and tasty food. We ordered calamaris,aubergine cake,piquillo peppers, bravas,croquetas y carrilera for 2 people and it was enough food. The waitress Elena was excellent and offered great service. It was my boyfriend's birthday and Elena made everything to satisfy our needs. Thank you so much for that night. Gracias Elena

Best Spanish food restaurant in Edinburgh. The service is outstanding. The quality of the products, the variety of the menu (including a fine selection of wine) make of this place the best in town!

Just had a great meal at La Sal. Food was beautiful, probably some of the best tapas I've had in the UK. We were treated so well, the waiter (? owner) was brilliant with us and the kids. It was my son's eighth birthday and even though we weren't making a big deal of it, the staff heard us toasting him and brought out cake and ice cream complete with candles and a happy birthday song. It made his night. I really can't recommend this place enough for good Spanish food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic authentic tapas, generous portions and friendly owners. Cava was a real hit, along with the lovely house red! Just what we needed on a rainy cold Edinburgh night!

Really nice atmosphere with lovely staff. Food is fabby and the wine’s not bad either. :-). We ordered too much food as we didn’t know what the portion sizes were so go easy on the amount you order. Overall, a brilliant place to eat in a warm and relaxed restaurant.

La Sal is one of Edinburgh's hidden culinary gems - great Spanish cuisine in a friendly atmosphere. Every bit as good as being in Spain!

Brilliant evening, staff welcoming and friendly, extremely knowledgeable about food on offer. If it's your first visit to La Sal the waiters will guide you through choices and amounts of food. Would defiantly recommend La Sal for it's food and ambience we had a very relaxed evening.

Excellent tapas, especially the pig cheek cooked in white wine. Good range of tapas available - plenty for veggies. Don’t miss the churros and chocolate for postres. Friendly and efficient service.
