Great food. The service was really good. Lovely atmosphere. We had the Early Bird Menu ... it was excellent value at £14.99 per head. We will be going again.

Excellent food and service by very attentive staff on what was a very busy Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was great. We look forward to going again. Very highly recommended.

Good food, we just had the Christmas menu, but all very nice. Service was very good also with staff very friendly. Normally very busy and noisy, but was just right last night. We think it's the best place locally for a good steak.

Had a really lovely early bird food , excellent choice of foods and good value . Food nice and hot when served . Would recommend but book first as quite busy even for a Tuesday.

We visited this restaurant last night with friends. Got a friendly welcome on arrival, the food was excellent and the staff very efficient. We will certainly be going back soon.

Fantastic restaurant with a great team who make your visit the best it can be. All this is only surpassed by their delicious meals. I would recommend LaScala to anyone looking for a great meal and and enjoyable time.

Such a lovely place with friendly staff and superb food. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff and the owner is an absolute delight with his humour and wit. The early bird menu is fantastic value.

I'm very sorry to say that I won't be going to La Scala again. Over the year's the cost of the early bird menu has increased, as one would expect. However, the quality and quantity of food has reduced. The brocolli and stilton soup was just greasy water. Vegetables no longer served seperately, now a smaller portion on the plate. This restaurant used to be one of my favourites, but not anymore unfortunately.

It was an excellent meal and excellent service. Even though we went early there was still a good atmosphere. We will certainly go again in the near future

Lovely meal and reasonably priced. staff where very polite and attentive. The appearence of the restraunt was clean and well presented. I would highly recomend this restraunt.

Amazing food, great prices and as always amazing staff service and friendly welcoming. Kept restaurant open later so we could have dessert!!! And we so kind about us taking so long to eat!

Eaten here before it's a lovely restaurant with helpful staff, we did have a slight mishap with one of our meals , but there was no problem with the handling of it , not sure if I would return it was a shame we weren't offered a reason/incentive to return

Delicious food along with friendly staff and pleasant surroundings - the best combination you can get. Oh, and did I mention, very reasonably priced too.

Friendly staff, appropriately attentive even when it was very busy. Great early bird menu with lots of choice including pizzas pasta as well as a range from the a la carte menu. 4 of us are 3 courses and had wine/ prosecco and beer and it was still under £80. Great value.

Excellent service, friendly waiters, good food. Two of us shared a starter which was presented on two separate plates rather than us having to split it. A nice touch. Look forward to a return visit

Very nice food with very good service. Went on a Monday so it was more relaxed but there was still quite a few people in. Had the early bird menu which is very good value and there was still plenty of food. Thank you for a pleasant night.

Tables crammed together . Got bashed a few times when table behind was being served. Food good but very tomato based. Staff friendly. Nice and clean

Great choice of food , really tasty only negative was there was no cheese board available . It was my sisters birthday and she likes a good cheeses board 😞. Apart from that it was lovely

Good atmosphere, cheerful and friendly staff, very clean and well presented throughout, and the Fillet Rossini's melted in the mouth. A very good selection of wines, especially the Italian Reds. Definitely will be going back.

Not been to La Scala for quite some time (don't know why) we went on the early diner. Definitely no complaints we were shown to a nice table excellent service from start to end. The food was lovely nothing to much trouble will not leave as long to revisit next time. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening

Good atmosphere, great food and excellent service. My friend and I went for a catch up so it was lovely to be able to chat without feeling like the restaurant wanted the table back to seat the next guests. Really enjoyed our Friday evening.

First visit to the restaurant and have to say I was pretty impressed! Lovely welcome and very attentive staff without being too intrusive. We visited in a Thursday evening last minute decision to book and it was a good job that we did as the restaurant was very busy. Starter and main was lovely...mu dessert was also good but my partner had apple pie which was both warm and cold.... must have been heated up.😐

My friends and I had the early bird menu and it was very good value for money. The staff were very polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Very nice atmosphere.

This is our favourite restaurant and the food was amazing as usual but the service was non existant. We had to chase up a drink order after it was completely forgotten. Then later my husband had to get up and interrupt the staff chatting to order drinks as nobody had been near our table for some time. The staff were not in the dining area at all but busy doing other things away from the customers. This is not what we normally experience at La Scala and we were really disappointed. We will be going back for our Daughter's birthday celebration and hope that things have seriously improved. If not, sadly, it will be our last visit.

I went on Easter Sunday and found a welcoming atmosphere. Lovely food and friendly staff. Also very good value for money. Kids meals well portioned. Can't wait to go again.

This was the first time my wife and I had been for quite a while. We booked online which made things a lot simpler and was pleasantly surprised how efficient it was. On arrival we were shown to our table straight away and ordered from the early bird menu. The meals arrived quickly and were hot. Even though the restaurant got very busy we didn't feel rushed and enjoyed our meal. Overall the experience was very good. Would definitely recommend and will be going again.
