Little Yang Sing

Great service, great ambience and food to die for. It was the best Chinese we have ever had. Perfect end to a perfect day in Manchester.

Very good staff and fine food. Would go again. Especially noted the attentiveness, when a fork got dropped, it was changed without any delay or being asked.

Really great restaurant, excellent service, tasty food, good atmosphere, kids loved it, sensibley priced, generous portions, lots of variety on the menu. I would recommend the restaurant!

Out of a group of 6 people, 4 people said there food was quite bland, or had a weird taste. I had the duck as a main, and it was OK. When one of our party mentioned the taste of the food, our server (i think she was the senior one on duty) took real offence, and said that "no one else has ever said this" and walked off. Then stood at a distance glaring at our table. Over the service was poor, but quite aggressive. The food was average at best. This ruined a good night - Unfortunate, but true.

Good food, rich menu, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. In particular I liked the BBQ roasted Duck in plum sauce and the seafood Trio. Delicious even the crispy chilli beef. Unique note: The Chinese beer (I do not remember the brand) did not hit me in particular, I tasted more good brands. I recommend this restaurant to friends and I will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Little Yang Sing. It’s been a while since we have been to this Chinese restaurant and they have certainly improved the surroundings - much more modern. The food especially the dim sums were still if the best. Definitely will go back

Our party of 15 went to the Little Yang Sing after searching the web for a good Chinese restaurant. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, our drink orders were taken and the staff were very attentive all evening , going through our menu choices at the start of the meal and keeping us supplied with more drinks during the meal. The food was excellent and our team this morning are all saying how much they enjoyed the meal last night. It was the first visit to the Little Yang Sing for me, but it will certainly not be my last.

Nice dining experience with friends, food very good, only thing that let it down a little was the abruptness of some of the staff serving us.

The service was pleasant and friendly. The food was excellent. It also looks a lot smarter after the refurbishment. Was a lot warmer than previous visits and it was cold outside.

First time at the Little Yang Sing. The Interior was clean and simple, food was wonderful, staff efficient and attentive. I would definitely visit again.

Excellent restaurant. Lots of choice on the menu and the food was delicious and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Staff didn't try and hurry us once we had finished our meal. Excellent customer service and we will definitely be going again.

Great food and service. Beautifully decorated and well lit. Quieter than we expected at lunchtime but that was actually a bonus. Would recommend this restaurant.

Good food, nice clean airy surroundings. A bit on expensive side and staff a bit too keen to move you on. Would recommend if money no object

Poor service. Turned up on time. Taken to rather wobbly table, given menus but after 15 minutes no-one had come to take an order. We left and had a great and cheaper meal at Pearl City a few doors away.

Great visit with friends to this restaurant. Wonderful service. We ate off the set menu at lunch time. Everyone agreed the food was exceptional. One friend is vegetarian and was well catered for. No complaints. Highly recommended. We shall return.

Love the restaurant and the food is fab, would have liked to have known before we booked however that the entire restaurant is under construction!

The food was all lovely but the dim sum were the stars if the show! The service was quick, polite and efficient. We will be back soon!

Good service and excellent food - as always. Looking forward to the renovation being completed. The dim sum were particularly good and the duck with black bean and pepper is not to be missed

We had a great time at Little Yang Sing, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely meal. The food was lovely and the meals came in a timely manner and the order was all correct. They sang 'happy bitthday' to my niece and gave her ice cream which was lovely. They didn't rush us which was good as it was the last night of my sisters family visit from the USA, so we could chat & relax. Thanks for a great meal.

Undergoing a refurbishment but still good quality food. Basic decor. Attentive staff. Try one of the banquets. Not cheap if you have the lobster but rest of menu good.

Great food and excellent service. The set menu was very good value and in particular the Peking duck was amazing. We would recommend if you are in manchester and want Cantonese god to go here.

Went with a party of 12 people and although it was a Tuesday night and relatively quiet, the restaurant served us very well. They helped with menu suggestions and the service was excellent. Would definitely visit again - Thanks

Food good but service absolutely appalling. Staff unfriendly and main course took almost 1 hour to arrive. When challenged about this supervisor was rude and argumentative. So much so that we insisted that the 10% service charge be removed from the bill. Won't be back - plenty more restaurants to choose from!

The Staff are very welcoming on arrival. The food and menu choice Is excellent and the service was very good. The atmosphere is friendly and good.

The restaurant was well laid and with an atmosphere that fitted our visit. They had a special Valentines menu which was well thought out. The staff were warm and welcoming and professional throughout. The food was excellent and we'll be returning!

Great food and great service provided by the restaurant and was also good value for the lunch time menu that was on offer. I would definitely go back.

The atmosphere was really nice and comfortable, the food was delicious and had lots to choose from. The staff were also really nice, we would comeback again.

We have been long standing clients of LYS. However the last time we visited felt that some dishes were expensive for what they were. Eg £14 plus the price of rise for a King Prawn dish.... They have improve on the service and we are still very fond of them but we will have to think again next time we want to go there....

the food was excellent, just as on previous visits, and the decor is very smart. The service, however, was very slow - we had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch from the a la carte menu; dim sum, duck then mains. Everything was delicious, especially the bean curd with minced pork in chili sauce! Service was friendly and very attentive so we will definitely return.

We had such a lovely evening celebrating a birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared and presented and the staff were all extremely efficient, very pleasant, courteous and helpful - all creating a wonderful overall ambience.

Nice food, but on the higher price side for a Chinese restaurant. Service was good, but wine choice was not available and this was on a Friday night at 8pm!

Excellent food, and good service. We were impressed by the presentation, and variety of dishes on offer. The staff were helpful and advised where necessary. Recommended.
