About Los Argentinos

“Don’t cry for me Argentina” sang Madonna in the guise of Eva Peron, but at Los Argentinos on East Preston Street in Newington, you certainly won’t have to sing for your supper. Argentina is famous for tear-shy spouses, diminutive footballers and high-quality steaks, and while – for now – only one of those is on offer at Los Argentinos, we’re happy to announce that the gaucho spirit is alive and well and living in Edinburgh. We could recommend the superb starters, the extensive wine list, the salsas and the sides, really there is only one thing that you’re going to go for when you walk through the door on East Preston Street. Steaks are the name of the game here, so pick your cut of choice, tell your server how you’d like it cooked and then let the grill masters take care of the rest.

If you want to eat real good steaks in Edinburgh, it is advisable to search for this Restaurant. A fex footsteps from South Bridge are worth it. Definitly one of the best Steaks I (48) ever had. Thank You!

The restaurant is plain, comfortable and very friendly. The starters are ok but the steaks are what make this place special. Extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. I haven’t had a sweet yet as I am too full to eat one. I have been several times and will continue to go back. Great value

Amazing as always, friendly and customer focused. I loved how great they were with my young children
