Mamma's American Pizza

Easily organised a table outdoors. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Informative about safe rules and pointed to the hygiene station beside the tables. Food was good. Didn’t get the exact thing I ordered and the waiter apologised for that; hopefully the chef was informed.

Great service and delicious food. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Food was lovely and, served very quickly in a relaxed setting.. The restaurant staff and management has made a great job of adjusting to the ‘new normal’ of Covid 19. Loved the clear screens which allowed you to soak up the vibe but feel very safe. Haven’t been to this please for years but it didn’t disappoint. We had a really nice time and would definitely recommend 👍

Amazing pizzas. Chose to sit outside which was fine although table was very wobbly. Service good.

It was great overall - it might be worth investing in some space heaters in order to allow people to enjoy eating outside during the darker, cooler periods.

Great to get out for a meal again! Fab pizza, spicy and generous and a lovely wine. Staff friendly and helpful, we had a lovely time!

First time we have been to mammas and will definitely be back, great friendly experience and great food, we couldn’t eat it all so took a doggie bag home, reasonably priced fabby time

First visit for a while. Still up to its usual good standard. Nice cheese nachos followed by two pizzas to share. What’s not to like 😀

Whilst the staff were lovely and the amount of gluten free options were amazing there were a few downsides. My son found a hair in his pizza which, whilst they offered to cook another one taking another 15-20 mins, there was no offer of a discount t etc which you’d expect. The restaurant was really cold!

It’s as brilliant as always - a busy rugby day but the servers all had a smile, service was quick and pizza is as good as it has been for years!!

We’ve been waiting awhile to come here & it was totally worth the wait! I had a gluten free pizza while my partner went for one of 16” pizzas. Just WOW... food is amazing. Staff are lovely, really friendly and they help make the place. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

2nd time at this restaurant (business trip) and just as good as 1st time (Family trip). Large portions and really tasty food. I had the Cajun Chicken & my colleague had bowl of Chilli and we shared a pizza (too much and couldn't finish the pizza!). Thoroughly recommend a visit when in Edinburgh.

The people working here are amazing. Food was fantastic - best gluten free pizza ever. We had an overtired toddler and the manager even Offered to take him for a walk to allow me to eat. All the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Definitely go if you’re in Edinburgh

Brilliant! Loved it so much we went back the next night too. Superb for gluten free.

The waitress took offence with the fact we wanted to order starters before we went to order main courses. We were in a great mood and she sort of spoilt things for a minute. The food was actually lovely, pizzas excellent, garlic bread nice and the chicken wings need to have a bit more meat on them!! Overall excellent

The food was good and the boy serving who I believe was called Jack had great customer service skills, however the wait time due to one chef being on was off putting

Very friendly service, good chicken wings but pizzas quite underwhelming.

Plain basic tasteless dough. Staff friendly but not particularly efficient. Not bad but not rushing back.
