It’s load fun and perfect for a Friday night pre gig dinner. Food was amazing. We will be back soon. Def my fav Turkish along that road

I loved the food here and the menu was excellent. I had Pinot Grigio which was horrid and I usually love it. The noise level was unbearable and the service was haphazard because you did not have one waiter you had many This was a Friday night which is always busy and it was at 7 which is a busy time so that might explain the service and the noise. The restaurant has a lovely and varied vegetarian menu and a big emphasis on lamb on the regular menu. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous.

What can I say? I love it here. You could say I’m here all the time.

The person who seated us was surly and the experience went downhill from there. We ordered a dish that should have been a feather thin tender pizza. It was stale and cold. I decided to tell them and they did give us another one that was okay but there wasn’t much flavor. I ordered a grilled sea bass that was very dry and hard to eat. My husband’s chicken kebab was over cooked and mediocre. We traveled a long way for what we thought would be an authentic Turkish meal and we were very disappointed.

Excellent choice - attentive service - beautifully cooked food and all at a very reasonable cost. The online booking system was very straightforward. This was my first visit but I hope to return next time I am in the area.

Wonderful Turkish cuisine, worth the long taxi ride from central London

We booked for after theatre at 10:15pm and arrived 15 minutes early. This was not a problem for them and we got a nice table for four. However; they forgot about us and apologized as we waited quite a long time to get our menus. Our starters with bread were delicious and excellent quality. However, not sure if it was because it was late in the evening but the meat dishes were dry in texture and tasted like they had been sitting around for awhile. We still enjoyed our evening and we still enjoy the byob concept!

Very nice restaurant, and good experience. My wife and I ordered a set for two with deserts and beverages for the first time, which is good for us, especially the lamb chop. Next time I’ll order grilled lamb chop directly.

Fantastic food at a great price and they even let us BYO a bottle of champagne because it was New Years! The complimentary dips and bread at the start is a nice touch

It was really nothing special. It was cold in the restaurant with the door being constantly opened so we asked to move further from the door. We were squashed in at the back where there was hardly any room to get to our seats. The service was nothing to talk about and the food wasn't fantastic. It was ok, but too greasy. It was also quite expensive for what they offer. There are so many Turkish restaurants in the area better in every way than here and I won't be returning.

Ordered lamb and chicken kebab, lamb wasn’t great as expected, otherwise decent food, they charged us less as well.

Very good kebab. It is a bit pricey, but taste is good and the lunch menu is a bargain. Chicken breast is unexpectedly tender and not dry at all.

The service was really nice and welcoming and seeing the grill master was kool to see .. but the food .. wow!! We had the grilled lamb, prawns and lamb chops ... out of this world !!!! And the salad were Devine ... can’t wait for my next trip

The best Turkish food in London, great service considering how busy it can get and great atmosphere. I’ve been regularly going here for years and will continue to do so. Everything on the menu is delicious.

As usual, Mangal II was excellent: great service, fantastic food, nice atmosphere, very competitive prices. Will return there as soon as possible. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in London.

Great service and lovely food, I would recommend the hummus topped with the sausage as a starter. BYOB makes it the dream. Could do with another bathroom though!

Mangal 2 is a top notch Turkish ocakbasi restaurant. The service was swift and attentive and food was delicious. Although it's a simple thing, I particularly noticed the very good quality of the thin bread.

Nice, casual BYOB restaurant with great food. Definitely 'no frills' but clean and the staff are friendly. Good for meat lovers but also a few good vegetarian options.

We were 5 people including a vegan and each of us thought that all the food was very good. l particularly enjoyed by lamb shish.

This place is friendly and efficient. The food is great and almost every time I’ve been we are offered some kind of complementary side dish.

Delicious food in warm atmosphere. Overall service was very good but they got my main course order wrong. Rectified it pretty quickly and all food was good.

Service was very poor. Waited for ages to even get a menu, got forgotten a few times, waited extremely long for our mains. Place was so crowded that the waiters kept leaning over me to serve the table next to us. Food was very average.

Overrated, poor quality staff (owner), should be more accommodating and get off his high horse, no class, the customer is always right. He needs to spend less time on twitter and more time learning how to act like a gentlemen.

Excellent value for fresh, tasty, well prepared food. Bread comes out piping hot and smoky from the oven, meats are tender and yielding, and meze fresh and tasty. Lovely for an informal meal out.

We’ve wanted to visit Mangal II for a long time (we live in the East Midlands, so we aren’t local). It exceeded all our expectations. The Set Meal 2 was incredible. The food was delicious, plentiful and very good value. Service was great and there was a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We hope to visit again one day.

They have delicious food, friendly service and it's reasonably priced. Also the artists Gilbert and George were there which was great! Would come back again and again.

It was a nice mangal restaurant. That was our second time. We are lucky to see Gilbert and George who are famous contemporary artists in U.K.
