My daughter and I met another daughter who has just started a job in Bacup for lunch; it was my birthday. We had an amazing lunch - Mario was brilliant - nothing too much trouble (my daughter has a baby who needed a high chair). The food was delicious and everything perfect. Including a candle on my desert. We will definitely be coming over again from Rochdale. Mario's is a gem.

Excellent food and atmosphere, Mario is a welcoming and friendly host. The restaurant is well worth a visit and we highly recommend it.

Great welcome and knew we only had a hour before the theatre. However had to wait so long for order to be taken that my husband went to order himself. The tomato and onion salad came as a mixed salad as the waiter hadn’t specified to the chef. When it was corrected the salad still wasn’t an Italian tomato and onion salad but tasted fine. All the above being said, the pizza was amazing. Please improve the service to match the great food. Thanks

We have been going to Mario's for years and it never disappoints!! We often take our 3 children and are always made to feel welcome. Mario is a great host and very welcoming. The staff are attentive and friendly, its a great atmosphere and the food is amazing!! We will keep going and we highly recommend Mario's to friends and family. To sum Mario's up its a fabulous family restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and amazing food! See you soon Mario!!! :) x

The staff were there at all times when you needed either a drink, a menu, to order or to make sure that everything was right. They even offer to take pictures of us. The food was on time, delicious and there was enough of it. Mario, the owner, was really friendly and fun to be with and made us laugh more than once. The restaurant is really cosy and it seems to have been recently refurbished. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed without being too pushy or taking over our space. Thank you very much Mario and Personnel for a great evening celebration out.

Amazing traditional food cooked with skill and love , rare to find someone who knows well done doesn’t mean black and crispy. Friendly professional service at an affordable price, would recommend it to anyone!

Very friendly personell and wonderful atmosphere and Mario is a very good host. The menu is very good and the qulity is excellent. Third time there and I would recommend the Restaurant to anyone. Great Italian restaurant with original dishes at great prices.

Great food. Service could have been a little better. Although we booked our table it still took half an hour to be seated. We had a drink in the meantime but were left unsure as to what was happening with our reservation. A little reassurance would have been great. Will be booking again though.

FANTASTIC MEAL...made to feel so wrlcome by all the staff especially Mario..not rushed at all and the price was also a bonus.. highly recommend .

Lovely atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Had a few drinks as we were an hour early for our booking. - Mario himself came to say hello and introduce himself which is lovely in this day and age. Food was amazing really tasty and fresh. Will definitely be regulars now we’re new to the area. Thanks again to all x

Had a lovely family meal. Food and service was excellent. If you wanted there is a specials menu plus a general selection of all yummy Italian food. Nothing was to much trouble it was all just perfecto.

My wife and I once again had a lovely evening meal at Mario's. Each time we have never been disappointed, the food the drink the service and the attention of the staff. Great place.
