Meejana - Weybridge

Sadly I wasn’t impressed with the waitressing, part of my daughters starter was dropped onto the floor and 3 other dishes were put on the table without a word being said on what the dishes were leaving some of my guests actually having to guess as the waitress just walked off. I should also have looked at my bill more thoroughly and clearly as I ended up paying a £40 service charge without realising. I think it should be my discretion whether to pay service charge. Slightly annoyed with that. The restaurant does have a lovely ambience, but some of the food dishes did let it down being either slow in coming out all together and rather expensive for what they were plus the waitressing problem. Hey ho shame really.

Fantastic night. Service was flawless, food was so delicious, and live piano playing was beautiful. Such a great night and I would highly recommend a visit.

Food as wonderful as ever, service a little slow on this occasion. Great to have the pianist accompany our meal, he was fab! Love the new décor and extended area. We always love going to Meejana, it is my restaurant of choice when there is a special occasion or something to celebrate.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, a very relaxing evening. If you go, it's worth taking your time and trying something new - we tried the 'Lebanese white coffee' and I really enjoyed it.

Just love this restaurant - my favourite in Weybridge. The food is always delicious and the service good. I am vegan whereas my partner is a carnivore and they have plenty of options to keep us both happy.

They've expanded into the premises next door but don't seem to have taken on any more staff. It took 25 minutes to get a drink and an hour from sitting down before we got any food. When it came the food was, as usual, delicious and we were pointed to a very good bottle of wine but the delay in initial service means that we are considering not returning.

Meejana provides excellent food and atmosphere (live piano music is fab!). And the most delicious puddings! I highly recommend and my favourite restaurant in Weybridge.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and good food, Scallops were a bit small so we were not charged for them. I would recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food but service a little lacklustre. Shortage of menus on arrival. Drinks order took forever to arrive and food whilst delicious arrived in a random fashion.

Authentic food and friendly staff. The mezze platter had a good variety and each of the mezze dish was very fresh and tasty. The decor can be updated to give a better ambience.

Amazing food as always and great new refurb. Highly recommend for couples & groups looking for a nice evening out in Weybridge. The new bar area will be buzzing in no time!

The host was absolutely brilliant and made sure we feel welcomed and offered excellent recommendations. I definitely would recommend the restaurant any day of the year.

What a lovely authentic meal. The ambiance is great a real modern take on the traditional. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was the best I have eaten outside the Middle East

We have visited Meejana over the course of some years on our visits to Weybridge and have always found the service friendly and welcoming and the food is cooked with great love and integrity. Had a wonderful carafe of the red Heritage wine - really tasty. Such a wonderful Easter Sunday treat!

We had a lovely evening, fabulous meal and great setting. Looks great with the extension to the restaurant. Will most definitely be going back there.

Booked for 8pm. Arrived on time yet a couple who had not booked and a group of 4 who had not booked, both of whom came in behind us, were seated promptly whilst we were told to take a seat at the bar. Not offered a drink until 8.25pm. Finally seated near to 9 and although order taken quickly there was 25 min wait between each course. All of this would not be a problem if hosts advised there’d be a wait and kept drinks flowing. But with only two staff that seemed difficult. Food was ok. Meejana potato salad gorgeous and starters lovely, but chips were part frozen and meat on mixed grill was chewy.

Fabulous meal. Cosy and warm atmosphere. This feels like a house dining room and the hosts are very welcoming. The new extension is well done and has not affected the overall ambience.

Amazing experiencing the food here. We chose to book a table here not just because of the food but also the decor, atmosphere, staff. Will certainly be returning.

Service was erratic and slow. Meals came out in shifts, leaving at least one person at our table at any given time without food. Waiting staff had to be reminded about a missing drink and missing food. When reminded about the food the staff said it was 'on its way, everything is cooked to order'. All well and good, but other restaurants cook food 'to order' and manage to bring all meals at the same time. The food, when it came, was ok- some was lovely but my son's steak was very over-cooked. Sadly not a good experience and I won't be returning.

We went on that cold snowy Friday and were the only people there! We live within an easy walk so the ice and snow was not a problem for us. Well, the waiter/host (manager) was very attentive and helpful but careful not to intrude even though we were the only ones to take care. We shared WONDERFUL BOTTLE OF WINE he recommended and an assortment of mezze. We especially enjoyed the stuffed vine leaves, kibbe, and lamb sausages. We had a crepe suzette and baklava for dessert. I have eaten Lebanese food quite often and this was about as good as any I have had, although we did stick with the basics. I would like to go back and enjoy their other menu options.

The new extension has transformed the restaurant and I am sure it will be even more popular than before. Food up to its usual high standard, and We will be coming back soon.

The restaurant is in a lovely setting. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend it for people who love Lebanese cooking.

This is a beautiful, homely restaurant with delicious lebanese food. Good sized portions, helpful and attentive staff and non intrusive background music make this a lovely place to enjoy a good meal. My husband said he’s not eaten so well for a long time. As I’m not eating meat, this restaurant is perfect - it offers so many interesting meals and mezze.

Excellent choice of food, drinks and service. The decor and general atmosphere are also very nice with period furniture and a piano. Will be back soon!

Fantastic food in great surroundings and good service. The best restaurant in Weybridge and the best Lebanese bar none. The recent extension has made it even better.

We went towards completion of the recent renovation. Very private table , excellent service, delicious food. This will remain one of our favourite local restaurants.

Everything was fantastic - great, kind, attentive service and of course the food was fresh and bursting full of flavour. Will be returning very soon.

The food is always outstanding and the service is great, this is one of our favourite restaurants. Never fails to deliver. The cocktails are a must. Ideal for vegetarians.

Staff amazing and very helpful, they wouldn’t done more. The food was delicious - we ordered the celebration meal and we were in a group of eight so we the opportunity to taste many of the dishes. We would definitely go back again

Divine, fresh, healthy, Imaginitive food with excellent suggested menus to steer you through the hugely varied possibilities. Apparently I need to add more words so here you are.

Very tasty would highly recommend the food as was really delicious I will be defiantly coming back again to sample more of the tasty food

One person managing the floor, customers, the phones. 20 minutes before we had our first drink and the place wasn't overly busy. Have eaten there several times, but always incredibly slow. We left after our drinks and will not return. Food when it is eventually served is always very good.

Really good food and pleasant service. It was just a shame that when my boyfriend asked for crepes for desert we were told the kitchen was too busy to make these, this came as a surprise given half the desert menu was crepes. I left with one unhappy boyfriend in tow... I on the otherhand had wonderful baklawa.

Good food and service found some items expensive for what they were but would recommend.Menu is large with lots of choice and ambiance nice overall

Great night - ordered set menu for 2 - could barely finish it, quantity and quality - they happily changed a shrimp dish for a meat dish (partner not keen on shrimp) - service excellent - and the setting is wonderful - highly recommend
