The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful which is why I have been back again and will do so in the future. All my family love it.
Slow Friday night in January but excellent as always. Lots of choice between veg, meats or just meze. Very good hummous and squid meze to start finished with a fall off the bone tender lamb shank tagine. Look forward to returning soon.
Excellent, delicious food. Charming staff but the service was a little slow. Easy to find and park and we will definitely look forward to going again.
Fantastic food and service, highly recommended. I have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. The new expansion has also created a wonderful cosy space.
Great food, lovely people and attractive decor. It was a lovely evening and I’d definitely recommend Meejana to anyone. I’ll be visiting again soon. Thank you.
The food was amazing, real and authentic Lebanese which is just what I was looking for. The best part of my dinner was interacting with the friendly staff who made me feel really welcome. I would defiantly recommend meejana for anyone near that area!
Very good food, we really enjoyed. Staff very friendly. We did know what to choose but a member of staff helped us choosing the right food. Although, it was a bit overpriced.
Celebration banquet was fantastic yet again-catering for all our many different intolerance requirements too. Service is particularly attentive , really friendly and professional. Highly recommended .
Great food and wine, good service in a beautiful decor. It was quiet when we went but a nice welcome chat from the owner. Would definitely recommend
Food was very good and fantastic staff on hand to explain any dishes that we were not sure of as it was a large menu and it was our first visit. We had a party of 9 .Our chosen dishes all came up at the right time and no one was left waiting .Great vegetarian selection. Beautifully decorated and good atmosphere but I found that it was a little cold in our part of the restraunt. My husband tried the Lebanese wines And the red was fantastic .When we go again I would like to try the set/ suggested menu.
This was a difficult one. We booked a table at the Weybridge branch and had high hopes based on what we saw on the menu. I have given a 2-star rating due to the fact that our experience was mixed, but overall simply not worth it. Firstly, I'd like to say that the service was excellent, the waiter being one of the most polite and caring we've had in a long while. We were also served by what looked like the manager and he himself was also extremely polite and attentive. However, our experience of the food was far from perfect. We chose initially to order two, 2-person mezze platters, and were told that these were "generous". Honestly, tht couldn't have been further from the truth - the plates which arrived had so little food on them they could be considered one person starters. In addition, the vegetarian platter had unequal quantities of some of the pieces (3 items to share between two people), which made deciding on who got what particularly awkward. We were all left feeling almost as hungry as we'd been on arrival, and at £25 per plate this was an eye-wateringly expensive starter. I will concede that the mezze was tasty. After that all four of us chose to order a wrap, and to be honest the wraps sounded delicious on the menu. However, when they arrived our disappointment was increased as they turned out to be dry, lacking sufficient flavour, and really the kind of wrap you'd buy from a cheap corner shop. My own wrap, described as ratatouille and halloumi was really just some halloumi with a couple of pieces of veg thrown in - no sauce. It was dry, dull, and at £11 simply not worth it. We left the restaurant feeling like we'd eaten the food of a budget takeaway, and paid 2-3 times the price of what it was worth. I have sibsequently emailed feedback to the restaurant and have to date not received a response from them. Sad really. Due to the excellent service I didn't want to give a bad review but I feel that the food simply was not worth it. R Descy
Extremely slow service spoiled the occasion unfortunately. We were the only table/guests in the restaurant, so the fact that we sat down at 6:15 and still didn’t have our main course at 7:50 is very poor. Lemonade tasted of onions. Unlikely to return, I’m afraid ..
Although the food was good the service was very slow. There weren't enough menus for our table and I was disappointed to be charged a 12 1/2 % service charge.
Nice Lebanese Restaurant, great food, loved the preselected Ambassador menu. Together with a baklava and sweet coffee, it’s an excellent dinner. We will surely come back.
There was a good range of food, hot, cold vegetarian, meat and fish. Overall the portion sizes and quality of the food was good but the service was pretty slow with long gaps at various points of the visit.
Been here many times! One of the best Lebanese food restaurants. Food is always hot and fresh and has plenty of vegetarian options. Love this place!
Mezze starters were good, mains were average. Two young waitresses were in experienced and quite pushy- clearing plates when we were still eating. Too expensive given for the same money you could eat at the Ivy in Cobham. Sorry
Delicious food and fabulous service. A lovely cosy place with lots of character. We went as a couple but will be going back with friends and family too!
Really disappointed. The service was very slow as only two people on a busy Saturday night. The gentleman’s toilet was out of service and the ladies/disabled was dirty with bin full and dirty nappy bags on top so didn’t smell great. My main course was chicken and it was over cooked and dry.
The food was delicious, service prompt and friendly, and the refurb (which is almost finished) looks great! I will definitely be coming back for dinner :)
Lovely ambience, very well decorated. We asked for a selection of mezze and they tailored them to suit us which was lovely. They bought out a few dishes at a time to give us chance to eat and then savour the next lot. The owner was very courteous and attentive, however, I did feel we were subtly being asked to hurry up as everyone else had left and it was only 9.30. Spoilt the experience a little for me.
Very overpriced for what you get. Ordered the mixed grill all the meat came out but didn't look very presentable. They could of had the chicken on skewers and like wise with the kebab. Definitely won't be returning also service not very good
We went for lunch. Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. We felt very welcome and the owner was very accommodating with our boisterous and over-tired kids. We expected it to be packed but we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The service was a touch slow despite this and it wasn't cheap, thought he food was divine.
Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere - love the decor! There is a really extensive menu for carnivores and herbivores alike. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic authentic Lebanese cuisine in lovely intimate setting. Like eating at a friends house. Meze to be recommended esp Hummus with lamb and pine nuts.
Best dining experience ever in Weybridge! Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and delicious vegan options. We look forward to our next visit and to trying their other place in Kensington.
Great atmosphere, pleasant helpful staff and excellent food. This was our first visit to Meejena in Weybridge and we look forward to returning soon. There's plenty of dishes on the menu we still want to try.
Lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff and great food. All very delicious. The mezze portions were perfect and so were our mains. It was our first time here but we will be back soon!
This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Although the service was slow to start with, it improved once the food starting coming. The food itself was delicious. We chose starters and mains but next time we will pick a set meal as we saw other tables have a constant stream of small dishes which looked very interesting. We will definitely go back.
We had a super night out here. We were there for a few hours and never felt rushed. We ordered the set menu at £25 per head. This was plentiful and varied. Have eaten here before and will do so again.
Really fabulous meal at Meejana. staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Also a great atmosphere - a good vibe going on!
As always great food and Great service Have been there about 10 times. It can get hot in the summer in the back as there isn't any Air Con.
Venue has gone down hill. Have been several times in the past and it was amazing. This time 4 people ordered a set menu while one went starter + main. The starter arrived very late and the main arrived 10 minutes after we'd finished everything off of the set menu! Apology did not sound genuine. Other reviews on TripAdvisor back this poor service up. Very diappointed. Not likely to recommend or return.
Delicious and fresh food. Brilliant, helpful and knowledgable staff. Had reasonably priced lunch menu which was comprehensive. The owner was happy to switch items in the mezze. Very satisfied and happy.
If you like mezze type food, this is the place! Really great tasting food, huge variety and the owner is so friendly and attentive! Our 2nd visit and both meals have been really lovely!
poor service - Food had to be sent back because it was cold after we had to wait quite a long time to get it.
Great food and atmosphere. We had a collection of mezze dishes and all were lovely. The prosecco was absolutely scrummy! Would definitely revisit another time if in the area.
Good menu with plenty of choice but we went for the easy option of the set menus - with a couple of extras as there were so many good things to choose from. Portion sizes are perfect as you leave feeling pleasantly full but not stuffed. Everything looked and tasted beautiful. Fresh ingredients prepared well with an excellent mix of flavours and textures. Delicately spiced but packed with taste. Food I could eat every day and never get bored. Beautiful surroundings. Nice staff - what more could you ask for?
We Ordered the vegetarian set meal. Nice food but it felt quite rushed as it wasn't spaced out comfortably. It Lacked a bit of atmosphere.
Great variety of fresh-tasting vegetarian food. Have been here on numerous occasions. Tried their baklava for the first time and it was delicious - perfect anount of sweetness and their chocolate fondant just melts in your mouth!
