We have been meeting from time to time at Melange for quite a few years. We can always expect very attentive service and lovely food.

The food was pretty average and the service rushed and slapdash. The corner bench seat we had was comfortable. Service charge was added to the bill.

The food and the service was good. The food came a little too fast so felt that we were in and out in not time at all.

We love the atmosphere at the Crouch End ,and whenever we have to celebrate our special occupation Melange was the first choice in our list. Great Birthday cake last time.. Thank you every one.x

Excellent service. Just about the right amount of time in between courses. Food cooked to perfection and piping hot. Very reasonably priced wine list. Overall a great experience.

Have eaten at Melange quite a few times, prior to a cinema outing. After a 'dip in form' pleased to report that my guests and I thought the food was very good and the service excellent. Bien fait!

Went here for new years, the food and service were great - unfortunately though the restaurant did not advertise that there was only the set new years menu to order from, and we were told we had to have all 3 courses in order to stay. If this had been made clearer then we might not have attended on new years, however have had the regular Melange menu in the past and it was really nice.

Great food beautifully served on plate . Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. They are family friendly. One thing , that crouch end branch is bit small and sometimes it might be lack of privacy.

Food as good as usual, but not what we ordered as items had run out. Further delays in taking the reorder. Service therefore felt on the slow side.

Full English Breakfast very nicely done and a good sized portion. Very Berry Smoothie is packed with flavour and refreshing. A good, classic cappuccino. Pancakes also tasty and good sized portion.

Booked a tasble, which was ready and waiting. Food was good, coffee was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. I particularly liked the rillettes.

The food has gotten better since they opened over a year ago. The service is still spotty, but enjoyable experience overall. Prosecco should be served with white wine glass.

We went on the 02/05/17 to the Crouch End branch. This was our first time here, lovely and cosy resturant. The food and service was brilliant for us.

Excellent service as usual. Wine was good. Usually go for lunch but dinner this time. Food was okay but slightly under expectation. Mussel as starter was soft and not overkilled with herbs. Sirloin steak was just fair. Not tendered and a bit chewy.

We had a good time, as usual. Calamari starter was lovely and so was dessert. I had lamb shank for main and it didn't quite fall off the bone like I would have expected, it was a bit of a struggled to get the meat off. Tasted nice though and the house wine is delicious.

As usual food and service were excellent. Melange us our favourite local family restaurant. Good to hear they have also opened a branch in Belsize Park. Can't wait to try it

We really like tihis place - busy but not noisy, great cocktails, varied menu and above all, delicious food. Lemon sole was excellent and the creme caramel exceptional.

a nice bit of dinner with good service and in a comfortable trendy setting. the fillet steak was plump, tasty and perfectly cooked. 10/10 would scoff again.

I would say it is ok but nothing too exciting . I would not recomend for celebration. Since it is quite small and tables are really small .Food is ok staff ok.

A formulaic experience. Service efficient but insensitive (offering to take food orders before we'd all settled, asking if everything was good before we'd started eating etc). Food well-presented, generous in portion size and looked appetising but everything tasted bland and somewhat greasy. Not expensive, but not worth the money. Not a chain I'd return to.

Delicious food especially my steak. Good service and set mnyexcellent value. Our waitress was from Bulgaria and particularly nice and efficient. Good ambience and would go again.

Enjoyable local restaurant. Cosy with a french/ Italian menu. The starter of camembert with sourdough toast was large enough to have as a small main course and was jolly good. The antipasto misto platter was also very good and well presented.

Great food with a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of choice of dishes, clearly seasonal to get the best fresh produce. Really pleasant staff, great service and polite.

Good cuisine (and we are critical customers), very kind staff and nice atmosphere. After 6 pm many people flooded the place, including families with children which created a pleasant neighborhood ambiance. Background music was jazz at low level not te horrible, loud and brainless stuff you often hear in central London.

The food was great (steaks, mushroom pasta, tiramisu and choc fondant) and the ambience good. We had a lovely evening. I Would recommend the "if you dare" chilli cocktail.

Was delicious food, relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Moderatly busy not over crowded for a Tuesday. I would recommend this place and the set menu we did was value for money.

The ambience of Melange is great, really nice and laid back. The food was wonderful, service was too. my friend and I I will certainly come back.

We have been coming to Melange since it was set up many years ago. It started off as a superb place with consistently good food. Sadly over the years it has been very hit and miss. This last time I ordered the sea bass which is normally a good choice. However, the fish had not been defrosted properly and so was wet and watery. Later in the evening I felt quite sick and I'm afraid it was probably due to the fish. Sadly I think that will be the last time we go to this once fabulous restaurant.

Beautiful food and attentive, warm, genuine service. They looked after my family with care and I can't wait to go back for my birthday dinner!

My fish cake was great, my father's pasta e veggies was great but my mother's steak was very chewy. Overall good but improvable. Thank you

Good food and good value, would certainly eat at melange again in the future. My only minor gripe was that they showed my guest to the wrong table in a part of the restaurant not visible to me when he arrived. I only found out he was there when I texted to find out why he was late!

Quick service and great tasting food . The staff are always attentive, polite and our young kids did not phase them when they started playing up.

Lovely food, nice ambiance, the set meal was very good value, had the fish cake which was very tasty with lots of chunks of fish, the chocolate mousse was delicious and enormous!!!

Very pleasant atmosphere. Food was good and Vera, our waitress, was charming and willing to help. Well priced and portions seemed to be perfectly judged.

Great service - lots of waiters and all really lovely. The food was excellent - we had sea bream and it was delicious, well cooked, tasty and hot. Comfortable, nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again and recommend.
