The food, wine and service were all good. We enjoyed it, it is a good local eat. The portions were good size too. I really liked my starter prawns.

Please tell ,friendly cosy restaurant with a good menu and reasonable prices. There were 8 of us having the festive lunch menu and everyone agreed that it was a good choice.

Excellent service, and a very good steak. It does have the slight feel of a chain but that didn't bother me as the food more than made it up for it. It's good to see a business thriving there as it was always as difficult space to fill. Would go back

The service was impeccable, loved this Charlie Chaplin movie being played on the project. Great spot for people watching too. Calamari was immense as was flat bread and chicken caesar. My mistake was overindulging on starters. Still managed a lovely sirloin and the creme caramel with a macchiato. Me and my girlfriend loved every mouthful. Plus the waitress is from Burnley. Winner.

Our two children, who are very fussy eaters and our houseguests all 3 of which are vegetarians were all very well looked after, thank you

Firm favourite restaurant in Crouch End. Book ahead as always busy. Great food and in particular their steaks which are always lovely. Good service, nice atmosphere. We will be back.

Cosy atmosphere. Nice decor. Modern and clean WC. Friendly staff that were accommodating when we asked for another table. Top notch seafood linguine! All in all, a pleasant experience and would recommend it.

There were 4 of us for the early evening set menu and the food was delicious. The leather seating against the far wall was comfortable with enough space between other diners. The restaurant got quite busy around 8 pm. The staff are friendly and hard working. Lovely evening, thank you

Good food, helpful staff, buzzy atmosphere (but not too noisy). Could do without the screen however which might be ok during the day while having coffee but was an unwelcome distraction in the evening.

There was a wide selection on the menu and the food was really tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, the service was quick and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. I thoroughly recommend Melange.

Very good.friendly staff. Thought the garlic butter on the steak was a little unadventurous. Perhaps they could do a Roquefort butter like Cote. Pleasant evening out,would go again.

Food was excellent - especially the calamari & scallop starters. Duck main was incredible as was the Malbec we had with it. Nice atmos in the restaurant and staff v attentive. Second time visiting and will happily go again

Always happy to eat at Melange. Food is reliaby good and service very friendly and efficient. My only criticism is that they tend to over salt everything but it is fine if you simply ask them not to add salt. The atmosphere is busy without being noisy which is a great bonus. You can actually go there to chat with your friends over a nice meal. Remains my favourite Crouch End eatery.

Very friendly and helpful servers and an interesting menu. The crab mayonnaise starter was a little too subtle for me but the steak was tasty and beautifully cooked. Reasonable bill too!

Great service, great food and a great atmosphere. All in all I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Our waiter was very helpful when talking about allergens aswell.

As usual the atmosphere was excellent & friendly. Simple but very stylish decor. The staff were VERY attentive and accommodating to my guests food requests. The food was superb and one of my guests from Leeds commented that when in London next she would book another visit to Melange as she had eaten the best Crab cake she had ever tasted. Being a Vegetarian, the food options were varied & DELICIOUS. EXCELLENT as usual !!!

The food is usually very good (I had the tuna steak...& although i ate a lot of it, it wasn't really cooked enough in the middle for me - i asked if they could just quickly pan fry it for a few seconds..no problem at all they said. they came back with a whole new peice done to perfection!!!) The main reason we go though is because the staff are amazing! - friendly and attentive. Always our first choice of restaurant.

Minor issues: they couldn't mix a simple orange juice and lemonade. No alcohol free drinks. Salmon was over cooked. I don't get the large screen running B+W film. Otherwise lovely

Lovely, wonderful food and drinks. Only slight annoyance was that they did that thing of trying to clear all plates while one of us was still eating. Otherwise, good service as well.

The food was good, as was the service. The restaurant was buzzy but not too noosy to hear companions speak. It was also easy to park - a real bonus!

Very nice atmosphere. My partner had lobster and I had the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. Both were prepared very nicely and the French fries were very nice too. The waiting staff were very pleasant and friendly too.

I visited Melange wis my hasbend and we were surprised with service. It was in high standart, unforgettable. I liked everything what I have ordered but my hasbend wasn't so happy with his choice. It doesen't mean that the food wasn't well prepared, just unfortunatley not in his taste. Oh and one more thing if you like strong espresso you can bravely order it. It was the strongest espresso what I have ever had in my life😄. So overall we liked it just one minus, dirty toilet.

Very good value set memu. This changes often. The a la carte is also inventive and they genuinely do embrace the franco-italian fusion. Service extremely friendly. An enjoyable evening!

Melange is our usual and favourite eatery in Crouch End. The food never disappoints, the staff are friendly and accomodating to possibly annoying habitual diners like ourselves. Its unstuffy and you are made to feel welcome unlike some places where you are made to feel fortunate to be eating there at all. Happy days!!

This is a greet place with excellent value for money. The maintenance of high standards day in day out is exemplary. The staff are friendly and diligent. This is our place to go whenever we visit Crouch End. I love it. Maybe the best steaks this side of the Scottish border.

We had a lovely dinner here last night. The food was delicious. We shared the prawn starter - perfectly cooked in a lovely sauce. I then had the duck breast- what a great combination of flavours. Followed by sharing the creme brule and the creme caramel, both delicious! The service was so friendly and the prices pretty reasonable for the quality of food. I only have one small complaint about the evening and that was that the restaurant was really hot! Otherwise we had a lovely birthday dinner and I would definitely go back!

We loved the restaurant, great ambience, food good although as we ate rather late some dishes were off, but the staff were attentive and service very good. The starters and mains are all very nice, the wine choices excellent, but we thought the dessert choices rather unexciting. If they had been a bit more interesting, we would definitely have ordered desserts as well.

Always a good place to eat for freshly cooked food and quick friendly service. We had a perfectly cooked steak and fries with a bottle of wine that worked out at £25 each.
