Miyagi – Bold Street

Pleasant staff with a good ambience.Nice food but small portions.First time at Miyagis would go back.Think they should have some main dishes though.Overall seven out of ten.

Excellent food with great value for money and wide selection, even for vegetarians. Service was even better, with staff assisting with the menu and live music providing great atmosphere.

Great service from everyone in the restaurant. Good atmosphere. Music a tiny bit loud but we were in a booth which was comfy and we had loads of delicious food. Loved it.

A couple of dishes were really nice, others okay. Service was slow. Had to ask a waiter to take our order after a long wait & had to ask twice for a spoon for soup.

The food here never disappoints. I had the Hoyas and the bao bun and both were so delicious! Staff are really tentative and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere.

Food and surroundings were fabulous...last minute booking so glad everywhere else was full! Waitress wasted a bit of her own time taking glasses on and off table unnecessarily but otherwise perfect night

Fantastic Asian style tapas, would highly recommend. Service was quick and friendly, a highlight for us were the black pig gyoza and salmon nico tacos.

Food lovely, as were the staff, they explained the menu and were attentive through the whole of the meal, restaurant was a bit cold though

Second visit to Myagai's and, as always, lovely experience, delicious food and attentive staff. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone, something on the menu for all.

Lovely menu which has changed to tapas style, service great and cocktails are fab! Def worth a visit- the edamamae beans are amazing!! Wonderful food which never disappoints

Great food, great service, great price! Funky decor and a good atmosphere. Everything we ordered was really tasty. Not a huge selection of beers but great cocktails.

Lovely place, first time visiting. Staff are friendly and attentive, happily advised us on the menu. The food was delicious and the cocktails were outstanding, I recommend the South Pacific. Really nice ambience, will come again

The food was lovely, but they placed a party of very rowdy drunk people in the middle of the restaurant next to us and didn't do anything to control them. If we hadn't ordered our food we would have left. The staff were lovely though but need to think a little more about where they position rowdy customers as it disrupted everyone's evening. However, i will go back though as the food was excellent

Food was great but service could do with just a little improvement. The timing when bringing out dishes should have been better as our accompanying rice dishes arrived so late that the other main dishes had been long gone! The staff were great though and rectified the mistake with an apology and removal of the late dishes from our bill. Overall happy and will come again.

Waitress was very attentitive and food was on point. Temperature was hot and I was greeted when I came in. All in all, a great birthday meal.

Great food awful customer service , staff had no time for customers upstairs asked for a drink twice - in the end went over to the bar to find to staff watching a video on there phone at the side . Have been here about 4 times first since menu change, never an issue before such a shame about the staff

Excellent food, great variety, in a lovely setting with great service. Would highly recomend for all occasions. The waitress who served us was very helpful

I went for my birthday the food was amazing and served with a smile. We ordered the campfire desert which was alot of fun and delicious.

The food was fine but it came a little late. But they took the charges off the food that came late, so that was great!

Excellent service and atmosphere but the new menu is nowhere near as good as the last one. We had a wide selection and it was all a bit one note. Also a lot more expensive which would be fine if the food quality had gone up with the prices. You can eat a lot better on bold street now.

Nice food, excellent cocktails, perfect style. I kindly recommend the ramen, tempura and the dessert: just pick one and you won't be disapponted! The same applies to cocktails

Food was superb. Service was not as good as I would have liked. Someone jumped the que in front of us and we then had to have a table by the disabled toilets. I was not impressed. The table was ok but you could feel a draft. They should have a proper system in place, as the people who jumped in front of us had a better table.

Disappointing overall experience. Key menu choices were not available and the service was patchy. New menu not as good as previous. Music was good, though.

Second time we have been and the menu has changed. Poor menu, smaller portions for the same price if not more expensive! Not as much choice. Will not be going again.

Food was excellent although not over warm, service was very good indeed and the overall evening was a success although it became a bit noisy to be able to talk.

Decent value food, excellent service. Atmosphere is great, always busy which is a good sign for a restaurant. Menu isn't extensive but this is a good thing; all the dishes are very strong.

Excellent, food great, staff friendly and helpful. Table booked for 2pm on a Sunday- it was quiet so a little lacking in atmosphere but otherwise a restraint to recommend.

Beautiful venue, wonderful food, really helpful waiter. the only thing that spoilt it for me was the chairs were extremely uncomfortable! Would not stop me from highly recommending though.

Went for a meal last night at around 8pm, we waited a long time for any food to arrive but was spoken to by a manager who apologised and sorted some of the bill. Other than this the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Food 10/10, so fresh and amazing quality that provided fabulous flavours in dishes I newly experienced thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff reccommendations. The only reason I did not mark a 6 was because we were seated upstairs which felt more cafe than restaurant

Amazing food, lovely cocktails and great customer service, all for a reasonable price! We made it a tapas-style meal with a variety of dishes, definitely recommend.

Loved the food and the service was great. Noisy place though- maybe it needs some soft furnishing or sound absorbing features. We found it difficult to hold a conversation, even before the (very good) live music started.

Excellent service on top of a great selection of small plates means you get to taste plenty of different things. The The belly pork bao buns are some of the best I've ever had.

An excellent meal in a relaxing setting on a Sunday evening , with very good service from Rebecca. We very much look forward to returning / going again next time we are up in Liverpool. We live in London and were visiting friends and relatives up in Liverpool for the weekend. Peter Collier

Excellent restaurant...staff attentive and well informed; eclectic mix of Asian food (fusion tapas) - worderfully tasty and fresh; great decor and ambiance. We will definitely return.

Fantastic place, great food. Will definitely return in the very near future. I was entertaining guests from London and Birmingham, they had a top time too.

A nice friendly venue (though uncomfortable chairs and acoustics are difficult for anyone with less than perfect hearing). Tasty food again. Cocktails very much fun. I would like it if the kitchen were able to deliver courses as starters and main courses rather than as is convenient to them, with a starter course arriving a while after the main.
