Miyagi – Bold Street

Very good food! 9 in our party and nobody was disappointed! We just need to get used to what each meal is as Japanese is new (to me anyway!) Wine however! Expensive!

Brilliant food, so tasty! Flavours are fragrant and everything comes out as and when it's ready which is great!! This was out second visit and we will be back again!!

Excellent service and food. Waitress was particularly helpful and went out of her way to explain the menu and told us about the international saki day.

Great food, good atmosphere, unique experience. A great restaurant which I plan to visit again! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! The food is always great! Fresh ingredients and great quality Japanese food at very reasonable prices. It's great to visit for group meals (even large groups) or if you'd like to enjoy a lovely meal alone or as a couple. Staff are friendly, great service provided.

Went for dinner with a friend. Cocktails were pretty but they didn't taste great. Food was good. Service was extremely slow. And they messed up my order. The interior was nice.

lovely food, nice friendly staff, really enjoyed the evening. We had the asian pickles, duck gyoza, yakitori skewers, som yam salad, crispy beef and one of the hirata buns, all food was exceptional.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food at a good price. I enjoy Miyagi and will visit again. Especially recommend the tempura prawns and bento boxes which are a firm favourite.

We had a great time at Mr Miyagis the food and wine were excellent, and the service was first class would recommend this experience to all.

Really enjoyed my meal here, great atmosphere on a Saturday night, good service, the food was perfect and didn't feel like I waited too long on anything. Cocktails weren't the most impressive but apart from that would definitely dine here again!

We has a great time, live music was excellent and food superb. Shame we had to wait 15 min+ for our table we had reserved. Compromises!

Wonderful friendly staff and delicious food. Mutations offers a great range of different Asian food so there will be plenty to like. Great for lunch or dinner.

First time to visited mr miyagi ,Very Good atmosphere, lovely tasty food (especially bao bun and fried chicken) warm welcoming staff, everything was really good!

Extremely helpful staff, who were great with a child in our party. The children's meal options are great, and there's loads to choose from. Had a bento box myself and everything was delicious, particularly the prawn tempura. And bau buns... little balls of fluffy heaven!

Lovely place and lovely food. Can get a bit loud in there. Staff very polite and helpful. Only one minus - no vinegar to put on the gorgeous chips! Been twice now, love it.

Great food at good prices. Easy to book and the service was also good. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant and trying the allerton one too.

Average food. By the time my sides came I was finished my main meal. Chicken pieces dry and over-flavoured Nice ambiance and staff but food lets it down.

Friendly restaurant with a "buzz". Tasty Japanese food in a different style, perhaps modern meets junk food. All very good, though some dishes a little hot for my Dad...and the edamame were a bit over-seasoned. Stools very uncomfortable. Staff very personable.

Brilliant food, attentive, helpful, friendly service and free prosecco for our wedding anniversary, all made for a near perfect dining experience! Miyagi is ninja! We will be back as soon as possible.

The venue is eye catching with beautiful Asian-inspired decor and a great soundtrack, but the most important aspect, the food, was disappointing and service slightly haphazard. I ordered the Mr Benzo box - a mix of dishes to find the chicken dishes the best choice, while the Tempura was greasy, prawns unpleasant - it was also over priced given the portions. Disappointing.

Would definitely recommend Miyagi! Was looked after from start to finish! Fab staff and amazing food and cocktails. Will definitely visit again! Thanks again 😊

Miyagi's is a notable addition to Bold Street and the menu is fantastic both for food, cocktails and imaginative soft drinks. Good service, lovely decor and reasonably priced.

Lovely meal, had sticky beef and chicken katsu. Both empty plates will be back soon!! South Pacific cocktail perfect match with a spicy curry! Taste just like holiday

Delicious food and great service! They have had a recent menu change and all sushi has been removed from the menu which is a shame. But we will still be returning and would definitely recommend to others.

Miyagi has always been a favourite of mine. The food there is so excellent, with plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegans alike. The waiters are professional and friendly, and are happy to help out with whatever queries you have. If you are veggie / vegan I highly recommend the veg Bao Buns - so tasty and filling! Thank you Miyagi for another wonderful meal.

This was our first visit to Miyagi. Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu to us. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. We enjoyed every minute of eating here and will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely delicious. Wide range of dishes. Server was lovely!!! Defo will come back again. I highly recommend the sticky chilli beef from the large plates menu and for dessert the brownie spring rolls. Amaze!

Lovely meal, good quality but quite small portions. Friendly staff and q good choice of food and drinks. Only problem was couldn't book for the time i wanted and so had to go an hour later but restaurant was nowhere near full. Could be just the booking system
