A lovelly neighbourhood bistro atmosphere. The menu doesn't change frequently. You get to know what you like. Sea food salad is very good. All good value.

Not French really. The halibut was very plain; no sauce. Steak and fries were fine. Ambience very simple to say the least, quite small; .....

Excellent value for money restaurant good for Sadlers Wells. Distinct French feeling with uncomplicated menu and good choice of reasonable wines. Little bit cramped but does not affect the ecperience

Not the experience we hoped for pre-theatre. The restaurant was short staffed and orders took longer to arrive than they should have done meaning we didn't have time for dessert or coffee. We had to rush to get to the theatre in time. Our food was pleasant enough but general disorganisation among staff really spoiled things.

It was a lovely quaint little restaurant, run by 2 French guys. The food came abit slow. But the food was affordably priced and service was good :)

Beware service charge does not go to staff - appalled as they are keen, courteous, knowledgeable and deserve more. We cancelled the service charge and left a cash tip instead

Really friendly , authentic place. Reasonably priced wine List . Very friendly service . The food was not the very best but it was certainly worth the price. I'd go again.

If you fancy some typical Parisian bistro dishes done well don't hesitate. The super friendly welcome will add to the experience. Nice wine list to go along. Miz en Bouche is a bit of Paris in London and the music to go with it.

What is offered is simple bistro fare with a bit of flare and imagination. Cooking is quite competent and the menu offers reasonable choice in a very pleasant atmosphere and at a very reasonable price. This is not gourmet food, but does not pretend to be so. It is well placed for pre-theatre at Sadlers Wells. It was our first visit, but we will return.

Have eaten here 3 times so far before going to the ballet at Sadlers Wells. Each time we have had the set lunch and each time it has been a different choice and every dish has been of a good standard. The portions are not huge but at lunchtime we don't want anything to heavy. Simple food cooked well, in a small restaurant with friendly staff. A great find.

A relaxed and friendly proper French style bistro. Not fancy, but great for pre-theatre or an informal night out with good food and reasonably priced drinks.

Nice place but the food was a bit disappointing. Perhaps if we had selected from the a la carte menu it would have been better but my companion's lamb chop was very chewy, the cauliflower gratin was quite bland and neither of us would have chosen a bean cassoulet as an accompaniment.

Good food. Really lovely efficient service with a smile even when the restaurant filled up. Set menu was interesting. Fairly priced. 5 minutes walk from Sadlers Wells. Perfect for a pre theatre meal. Do book. It's very popular. Recommended.

The Service was timely and very good, the food was well prepared, tasty and good value for money for the pre theatre menu. We would happily go back to try the A La Carte menu or a gain for a pre theatre meal.

What a great find. Wonderful authentic food and drink. The three of us all had something different for main and pudding. All were well presented and tasted fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful. The feel of the place was busy but not rushed, bustling but not loud. Would definately recommend.

Just a few steps away from Sadlers Wells. Friendly staff. Not a large restaurant so a more cosy atmosphere. Service on the slow side so allow for that when reserving a table if you need to get to the theatre. I'd suggest 2 hours if wanting two courses. Food of a good standard especially the fish dishes. Only one ladies toilet so a bit of a queue likely especially when everyone preparing to leave to get to the theatre

Meal was fine sea bass was well cooked and well presented but nothing special. Seafood salad had minimal sea food and too much dressing. Service was friendly and efficient.

Very friendly service. Food was very good too, we were not rushed. We spent there far longer than anticipated enjoying our food. My steak tartare was delicious, others had duck and burger. Both very good and generous portion. One of the few restaurants where the burger comes cooked as asked for, not overdone!

Wonderful staff, fresh traditional french bistro cuisine . Some tables a bit tight for the fuller figure and you need an openminded approach to the unisex wc

Lunchtime booking for 7. Was quite a busy lunch service, so a popular place which is a good sign. While the service was friendly, they were over-stretched and food was slow to arrive. Quality was pretty good, though my burger was on the small side. Good creme brulee for dessert; tarte tartin OK but not quite so good. Third time I've been and similar experiences each time. Decent food, but slowwwww....

I've been here before for dinner, which has been great - last week's visit was for brunch, which also did not fail to disappoint. The staff were friendly (remembered us from previous visit), delicious food and a really relaxed atmosphere on a Sunday. Will be sure to come back!

This is an authentic little French restaurant a few minutes walk from Sadlers Wells. Staff are very welcoming and service excellent. You need to book a table as it gets very busy because it is good. We shared a starter of cold meats and pate with nice bread and unsalted better followed by steak for my husband and an Angus medium rare burger for myself. The food was delicious and portions sensible. For dessert I had a lovely tarte tatin and my husband said the chocolate fondant was superb. We look forward to coming again. Space is at a premium but didn't detract from the experience.
