Always excellent. Without doubt the best Italian restaurant in London.
Excellent food, we both chose fish, all of which was beautifully presented. Very warm atmosphere which was as relaxed or formal as you wished.
Very good food, and excellent staff, I will recommend it to my friend
Abbiamo conosciuto Antonio e il suo staff! Eccezionali tutti! Bell’ambiente e Ottima cena
Favourite restaurant, lovely meal with family. Delicious fresh pasta and seafood. Friendly staff! Highly recommend.
Lovely family Mother’s Day dinner with yummy food and excellent service and the best staff.
Lovely lunch in a classic Italian Knightsbridge restaurant. Always first class.
Great as always. Family friendly and attentive staff and very friendly.
Love it here. Family favourite and nowhere better to go for a delicious meal. True Italian food with lovely friendly attentive staff. Thanks!
Lovely local Italian restaurant for all occasion with attentive staff and delicious food. Favourites include ossobuca, lamb chops and sea bass fillets as well as lobster soup and the best fried zucchini in London!
We had a lovely evening at Montpeliano. The staff are the best and the food is delicious. Favourite restaurant in London.
If you like fresh Italian food then you’ll love Montpeliano.
Christmas meal. Had a wonderful family evening just before Christmas. Restaurant decoration beautiful and lovely festive smell from all the flowers and branches. The best food and service.
Thanks Montpeliano once again. Lovely evening with family and friends.
Love it here. Family favourite and nowhere better to go for a delicious meal. True Italian food with lovely friendly attentive staff. Thank you to everyone who makes our visits so enjoyable.
We had a lovely evening at Montpeliano. The staff are the best and the food is delicious. Favourite restaurant in London.
Wonderful restaurant with friendly attentive staff and fresh delicious Italian food of excellent quality- recommend to all for any occasion.
Our third visit. Madam had the risotto primavera and I had the risotto ai funghi. Both were first-class. The tiramisu dessert was to die for and the primavera was the best I can ever remember drinking in a restaurant. The staff are superb, the service just right and the bill very reasonable for what I'm tempted to suspect is the best Italian food in London. We'll be back.
Sadly this restaurant seems to have lost its edge and felt tired and was half empty on what should have been a very busy night
No atmosphere, staff appeared uninterested. Very high priced, not value for money. Won’t be returning.
Easy location just a few steps from famous Harrods and Knightsbridge Station. The food are yummy and the services are particularly excellent. Highly recommended to guys like Italian cuisine.
Terrible service food mediocre at best and general atmosphere like a works canteen Used to be so good We will not be going back Shame on Valentine’s Day !!!!!
Ottimo ristorante italiano nel centro di Londra a due passi dei magazzini Harrods. Cibo molto buono e locale abbastanza grande per gli standard della capitale inglese.
We have been in there for Valentine’s Day, everything was just amazing , the staff , food ,everything . For sure we will recommend. Good job everyone.
I always love the food here, and the atmosphere was very nice for a relaxing evening with friends. The service was great, informative and helpful.
Very good food, veal 'Montpeliano' always delivers. Tagliatelle nice also. Service good and prompt. Restaurant was only about a third full, so good if want quite meal
This restaurant is like a little Italian oasis in the heart of London. A traditional family run business, there is always a warm welcome, delicious food in typically stylish, Italian surroundings. The staff are always very polite, respectful and always accommodating. It has been a favourite for many years and always considered as a real treat on our occasional trips to London for shows etc.
It is an ok restaurant, the food wasnt bad (although my arrugula was tired and certainly a few days old) but the service was mournful. Shame as the decor is great in an old-fashioned way and has a lot of “non-London” character
Great traditional Italian cuisine with friendly efficient service to match. Rapidly becoming our family’s favourite! I recommend the Lobster spaghetti, which is amazing and worth the trip alone.
Lovely lunch with family. Excellent food and the friendliest service. Family favourite.
The restaurant is fantastic!! Lovely atmosphere, it is very beautiful inside. The decorations are adorable. The staff are wonderful - extremely accomodating, polite, they create the medium of the restaurant with their occasional jokes, fast service. On top pf it all, the food was absolutely delicious! I had the seafood pasta and my husband had lamb cutlets. The flavours were splendid, the seasoning was complete creating true joy of each dish. The tiramisu dessert was no less fantastic. Important note that the price to quality ratio was fabulous. Thank you for a wonderful visit and a lovely finale of our day out in London!
Very nice and charmig restaurang close to Harrods. Super service and thay were perfect with children. Tasty olives and bread on the table and the pasta was super
Great food great service and a very nice surrounding! Toilets very clean which is a prone for us as we had 2 kids. I would recommend it for sure.
Very nice atmosphere with excellent food and efficient service. I particularly liked the fact that the lady who helped us to order tried hard to recommend the right amount rather than to push “market price” items. Will definitely visit again soon!
Service was a little slow to start with, but soon picked up, and the food was excellent. I would recommend the lamb cutlets. You might need to wear a jumper if you are sitting in the area with the glass roof.
Food was excellent. Service very friendly though a little slow. Had to pour wine and water ourselves and always had to get staffs attention to order dessert and more water. Would go again though.
Great service and atmosphere - really enjoyed the menu choice and they even provided an off-menu traditional Italian item as a speciality which we appreciated highly.
Our first visit but we will definitely be back again. Good quality Italian food served by very experienced and knowledgeable front of house staff. Has an authentic Italian feel and the prices are very reasonable for Knightsbridge.
The restaurant was excellent super location super food excellent staff couldn't fault it.My 3 year old granddaughter was made very welcome as well.definitely would go back
Lovely experience, welcoming from the outset. Extensive menu catering for all tastes and costs. It can be busy but that adds to the atmosphere homely and traditional. Friendly staff and good service.
Tired restaurant, in serious need of uplift, nothing changed since the 1970’s. Rather mediocre food. Staff traditional and friendly like an old boys team out of The Godfather movie. Given its location has potential which alas is unexploited.
Super food and good choice of wine. Very engaging and pleasant staff. And, given the location, good value for money. The decor and presentation of the restaurant is pleasing to the eye and makes for a very enjoyable evening.
Great food and very nice ambience. It lacks the glory days of the past when it was packed and very noisy but still offers great Italian food with a sense of nostalgia
Food cold, service was arrogant and the restaurant is a shadow of its former self. It was a Monday and empty but no excuse for making no effort to be nice. Very sad to see indeed
The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely and the staff did a great job - just the right amount of attentiveness. A great experience.
Lovely food, and lots of it....absolutely delicious Osso Buco, and veal dishes. The waiters have been there years and so know all the customers, so it's a bit like a proper old fashioned Italian but very chic and airy.
Great service, excellent food it never disappoints. We regularly visit when we are in London and we are always made very welcome. The owner is quite a character and brings his own special charm to the restaurant.
Lovely ambience and good food. Service could be more on the ball. We asked for lime with our water and had to ask again. They did take the coffee off the bill to reflect.
The food, the service, and the atmosphere were simply outstanding. It was one of the best meals we have had in London in recent years. This was our 4th or 5th visit to Montpeliano and we will definitely return. There were new items on the menu that we had not tried before and they were excellent. Wine recommendation was a big hit. Keep up the great job!
Terrible food. Terrible atmosphere. Terrible service. Terrible lighting. Semi empty. Very sad, as it used to be a great local restaurant that we all enjoyed.
