About Mulberry St Bar/Bistro
There’s a strong neighbourhood feel to Mulberry St Bar/Bistro, but the menu is more like a trip around the world than a saunter down the road in Glasgow. One of the coolest spots in southside Glasgow, Mulberry St Bar/Bistro is one part bar and one part restaurant, so boasts a mouth-watering food menu alongside an inspired and carefully curated drinks list. Whether for lunch, dinner or drinks, it’s impossible to imagine somebody not finding something they’ll love on the long, international menu, so Mulberry St Bar/Bistro is ideal for groups. Please note, however, that it is not on Mulberry St but rather Pollokshaws Road, right by Queen’s Park in the heart of the Southside.

With cosy booths, leather-topped stools and stylish wooden panels, Glasgow’s Mulberry St Bar/Bistro nails the balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. The beer selection is incredibly impressive, with quality European ales, local brews and an ever-changing selection of special draughts on tap, though the food is what really shoots Mulberry St Bar/Bistro above other Southside establishments, covering everything international from sizzling Mexican fajitas to classic cod and chips to Thai yellow curry.
Try for example, their homage to Glasgow in the form of Stornoway black pudding and poached egg on a bed of spinach topped with hollandaise to begin, before a main of Mulberry salmon and smoked haddock fishcakes with chips and salad, king prawn spaghetti with chilli, basil and lemon notes or Mulberry St Bar/Bistro’s signature steamed mussels with white wine and garlic cream tomato and sweet chilli, Thai sauce that will truly blow you away. You’ll find Mulberry St Bar/Bistro along Pollokshaws Road in Southside. Bookings are essential.
Food and pricing were good, service was good, surroundings were good - altogether a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon,(football free thanks to no televisions). Would recommend to anyone.
Great restaurant, good choice of food and lovely service. Need to book ahead as it is always busy. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely go back.
Lovely intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere. Staff really friendly and attentive without being too much in your face. Food is super tasty and fab portion sizes.
Good food which is not oerpriced and really nice attentive staff. Children are welcome up until 8pm and there is a menu available for them . Good atmosphere.
My mussels smelt a little odd so I mentioned this to the waiting staff. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic. He replaced my dish with an alternative and deducted the price of our drinks (and the mussels) off our bill. This is the third time I've eaten here and wouldn't hesitate to go back. The food and atmosphere is first class. The mussels were just a blip and the situation was dealt with swiftly and without any awkwardness. Can highly recommend
Brilliant place to eat and drink. Good selection in the menu and the chefs are excellent, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Stuart and his staff are lovely, friendly and professional. There is also a lounge area which is cosy and comfortable. We have been many times and will keep going back to Mulberry St.
Visited for dinner with my husband and son and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely lovely and I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and could not have been nicer. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend .

I me and my boyfriend both love it here any special occasion this is where we go staff are amazing food is wonderful can't fault the place :) I recommend it to everyone
We were out for an anniversary meal, the food and service were both excellent. The weather outside was cold and wet, but inside was warm, dry and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Food nice but service painfully slow- seated at 115 and starters didn't arrive until after 2pm and a similar wait for mains and dishes not taken away for 30 minutes after we were done and only after we asked. The restaurant wasn't busy so don't understand why it was so slow. Would put us off returning and recommending.
Excellent food and very good service. Just over £30 / head for 3 courses and coffees and a couple of bottles of wine between 4. Nice ambience too.
Never fails to deliver great food served by wonderful staff. Incredible variety on the menu, something for everyone. Always consistent always warm and welcoming. The Southside's special place.
Was fantastic! Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. They really went out of their way to make my 5-year old feel welcome too. Would recommend.
Service was very slow, we had to wait over 40 mins for our main course. Apart from that everything else was very good. We are frequent diners and will return but not if we have to wait that long again.
This is one of my favourite restaurants and bars in the Southside. Great food and excellent service provided by all the staff, will definitely keep attending
Great food, good service and reasonably priced. A perfect brunch location. The selection is varied enough for all tastes and the quality is fantastic, will definitely be visiting again... and again
Great food, friendly staff and it was very reasonably priced as well. Went for an anniversary meal and we will definitely be back. Thank you

Had very good preconcert meal, excellent choice of food and wine. Staff very attentive and personable. The food was served speedily and was excellently prepared.
Lovely reasonably priced food and drinks. Wide varied menu and there was a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, this time with our baby son.
Hard to choose as the menu was so lovely but meal was delicious. Excellent service. Rose sparkling wine gorgeous. All very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

The menu was very varied and included some local Scottish dishes. The food was excellent and the staff were very professional and friendly. Lovely atmosphere in the bistro.
Quality food and fab staff. Nice wee atmosphere too! Great restaurant and pub and always enjoyable. Worth booking in advance as often busy. Would highly recommend.
Great night at the Mulberry Bistro, enjoying excellent food that was good VFM. Experience slightly spoiled though by fellow customer vaping at table next to us.
Great food and good value. Lots to choose from and friendly service. Blueberry cheesecake in particular was amazing! Will definitely be back to visit again!
Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and a nice dining area. I had been before and will be returning again! It's a great place
Slow service throughout, dish not as advertised, queried twice with manager, no response despite assurances. We won't return. Too many other better options in the area.
Always wanted to go there. It's a nice bistro, lovely staff. Main courses took a long time to arrive but would recommend a trip there.
