Mulberry St Bar/Bistro

Mulberry St is consistently good and has been for years - much better than the new and trendy places popping up South Side The staff are friendly and food is always brilliant! I highly reccommend it.

Food was great, not very busy as it was a Monday evening. Only complaint was that it was our daughters 16th Birthday and we had handed a birthday cake in, however the staff had forgot all about it, so we had the bill but no cake. They did light it and bring to the table.

Very friendly staff with a good variety of food and good value for money. A nice friendly atmosphere and I would definitely recommend the restaurant to friends

Nice little intimate restaurant and really friendly staff. The sea bass risotto was amazing! Also has a connecting pub - perfect for a pre- or post-dinner drink.

First visit here after hearing how great it was. Surprised at how small it was and a small but lovely menu. The food was fantastic and staff excelllent Such a cozy atmosphere and never rushed..we were there for 3 hrs..The manager was very friendly and attentative. Will be our new fav place

Food and pricing were good, service was good, surroundings were good - altogether a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon,(football free thanks to no televisions). Would recommend to anyone.

Great food and good value. Lots to choose from and friendly service. Blueberry cheesecake in particular was amazing! Will definitely be back to visit again!

The vegetable fajitas were very tasty with a good range of accompaniments and very filling. The meal was fresh and seemed to be made to order, however this did make the service seem a bit slow. Overall service of staff was good.

Lovely intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere. Staff really friendly and attentive without being too much in your face. Food is super tasty and fab portion sizes.

Good food which is not oerpriced and really nice attentive staff. Children are welcome up until 8pm and there is a menu available for them . Good atmosphere.

Visited for dinner with my husband and son and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely lovely and I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and could not have been nicer. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend .

Always wanted to go there. It's a nice bistro, lovely staff. Main courses took a long time to arrive but would recommend a trip there.

My mussels smelt a little odd so I mentioned this to the waiting staff. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic. He replaced my dish with an alternative and deducted the price of our drinks (and the mussels) off our bill. This is the third time I've eaten here and wouldn't hesitate to go back. The food and atmosphere is first class. The mussels were just a blip and the situation was dealt with swiftly and without any awkwardness. Can highly recommend

We were out for an anniversary meal, the food and service were both excellent. The weather outside was cold and wet, but inside was warm, dry and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Brilliant place to eat and drink. Good selection in the menu and the chefs are excellent, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Stuart and his staff are lovely, friendly and professional. There is also a lounge area which is cosy and comfortable. We have been many times and will keep going back to Mulberry St.

Great night at the Mulberry Bistro, enjoying excellent food that was good VFM. Experience slightly spoiled though by fellow customer vaping at table next to us.

Lovely reasonably priced food and drinks. Wide varied menu and there was a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, this time with our baby son.

Service was very slow, we had to wait over 40 mins for our main course. Apart from that everything else was very good. We are frequent diners and will return but not if we have to wait that long again.

Hard to choose as the menu was so lovely but meal was delicious. Excellent service. Rose sparkling wine gorgeous. All very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Slow service throughout, dish not as advertised, queried twice with manager, no response despite assurances. We won't return. Too many other better options in the area.

Never fails to deliver great food served by wonderful staff. Incredible variety on the menu, something for everyone. Always consistent always warm and welcoming. The Southside's special place.

Food nice but service painfully slow- seated at 115 and starters didn't arrive until after 2pm and a similar wait for mains and dishes not taken away for 30 minutes after we were done and only after we asked. The restaurant wasn't busy so don't understand why it was so slow. Would put us off returning and recommending.

My first time at the mulberry and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, especially the lamb tagine. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back.

Mulberry St Bistro is a lively, unpretentious local restaurant and bar. The dishes we tried were simple, straightforward and well prepared. Wine by the glass was good and fairly priced.
